SP No58 Eastward OWL between Allard and Bealville on 1953 Tehachapi Pass.

This train has 2 AC-10/11/12 class engines, four 60-B- Baggage cars, one 69-BP-30-1 RPO, one 60-B- Baggage car, one 72-C-5 Chair, one 60-C-8 Chair, two 72-C-5s Chairs, one 77-D-3 diner, and six Pullman HW sleepers representing the Solarium/Lounge/Sleeper 'Mission San Ynez', 14-Double-Bedroom 'Night Fern', 10-1-2 Pullman 'Lake Scott', and two 12-1 Pullmans 'Altamont' and 'Noyo'."

SP 72-C-5 Coach

SP 72 foot coach

Built in 1924 for the "pearl grey" Daylight and Air-Conditioned in the 1940s. These cars ran into the 1960s on inter-city trains such as the Owl, West Coast, occationally on the San Joaquin Daylight when traffic was heavy and as rider cars on the Tehachapi "Mail" trains 55 and 56.
