Donnovan Midas is an avid wrestling fan who at the age of 17 was brought into the trade by the legendary Steve "The Wildman" Stansky. Who took Midas under his wing developing him into a great technical wrestler. At the tender age of 19 Donnovan won his first singles title in the AWF and it was during that reign that Donnovan would discover the true nature of the business. One afternoon while preparing for a match for the AWF card in Southern Pennsylvania Donnovan was approached by the Wildman who was somewhat distraught about his current place in the AWF, after attempting to assure Stansky of his legend status he told him he would speak to the promoter just to put his mind at ease, when approaching the office door shortly before his match was to begin he overheard a conversation between the promoter's "Don�t worry Stansky is over the hill he cant produce anymore we will just get him shit face at the next town and simply leave him behind�. After hearing this Donnovan was determined to save the job of Stansky even at the risk losing his own. He went into the ring and after his opponent for the night entered the ring Donnovan quickly applied a submission move on him forcing him to tap out prior to the pre-determined time. As the referee and the wrestler stood there in amazement at what Donnovan had just done. He grabbed the microphone "I am sick and tired of living in your shadow WILDMAN get your ass out here right now so i can prove once and for all who the best is". Quickly the promoter scrambled and forced the Wildman to go out and face his young apprentice and after a amazing match which some considered to be the best match ever from the short run of the AWF the Wildman came out victorious, after allot of celebration in the locker rooms most of the crew had left and Donnovan was to meet with the promoter prior to leaving the arena. As he opened the door to the office he noticed several big men standing in the room surrounding, him he was about to turn around a leave but then he noticed that Stansky was one of them so with seeing him he was assured that nothing bad would happen. SLAM! The door shut and the men jumped on Donnovan as the promoter yelled "SCREW ME" this was obviously a message for Donnovan, the promoter looking at Stansky said "Teach him a lesson and you will hold that title forever" without hesitation Stansky placed his elbow into the corner of Donnovans knee and grabbed his leg "Final lesson Donnovan how to break someone�s leg". After a long healing process Donnovan moved to the West Coast where he was still allowed to wrestle throwing a match and screwing a promoter was still a bad offense so Donnovan was banned from wrestling in the East Coast. He wore a mask on the West Coast and called himself "Revenge". Three years passed by and Donnovan as "Revenge" took over the West Coast as the most dominate wrestler they could offer. After Mid-Atlantic wrestling bought out the AWF they decided to put on an ultimate show which would pit the East Coast talent against the West Coast talent. Of course no one from the East coast had any ideal that Donnovan was in fact "Revenge" and to ensure that it stayed that way Donnovan never took of his mask in public until the time was right. April 13th 2002 Steven "The Wildman" Stansky Vs Revenge Title Vs Title. Both men locked up in a great match one that made the show a big hit, and the promoter true to his word made arrangements for Stansky to retain his title in this match in a DQ lose and just when that time had come to swing the chair away revenge ducked and quickly grabbed Stansky's leg and yelled out "Final lesson Stansky don't F@#K with Donnovan Midas" SNAP! You could hear Stansky's knee pop all thru out the arena
Revenge kept holding onto the leg as the Wildman screamed in agony "I Quit, I Quit" finally the referee had no choice but to call for the bell and award Revenge with the win. Revenge quickly grabbed the microphone announcing to the arena that he had finally gotten his revenge so now he would go back to being himself again, taking off the mask revealing Donnovan Midas. Everyone in the crowd was stunned it was common knowledge in many wrestling circles and with the internet being so hot mostly everyone knew of what had transpired in the AWF, but no one had any clue that the man that |

dominated the SCW for so long was in fact Donnovan Midas and the promoters unknowingly gave him the chance to seek his revenge. �Wildman you screwed me! You screwed me for this! This stupid piece of tin! Well you know what you can have it as a matter of fact take them both i am done with this!" Donnovan exited the ring tossing his mask in the garbage grabbing his bag and exiting the arena. Within a week Donnovan was released from the SWC for breach of contract and once again was on the outside of a business that he dominated. With a short rest Donnovan finally got back on his feet and looked for work, but different from last time he went back to the East Coast. Seeing how now he was banned in most of the country he figured he should at least get rejected in the same town he got his start Philly. As soon as he exited the plane he was greeted by none other then Robert Justice who was a brilliant man who was running a small federation in the heart of Pennsylvania known as Pro Wrestling Federation, he and Donnovan had one main thing in common, both men had been blacklisted from competition in most of the USA so to solve his problem Justice started his own fed and it was doing well at the time Midas was approached after a cup of coffee Donnovan Midas was back in the game for the PWF. While his stint in the PWF was brief he did in fact accomplish many great things while there. One feat stands out above the rest he defeated The Legend Penny Warren in a "Legend match" to be deemed the Legend Donnovan Midas... After exiting the PWF he arrived here in the WpW where he began his stint during a TV Title match against 12 competitors. The man holding the title was Tony Ruiz and ultimately the match came down to 4 men Donnovan Midas, Hayden Williams, Velimir Radinovic, and Mike Sensation. After a hard fought battle Donnovan was eliminated then shortly after Mike Sensation won the TV title. Next thing on his plate for the WpW was a DRAFT to determine which show would carry which wrestlers. Elevation is a show designed to showcase the new upcoming stars and Goldpush is for the established wrestlers... Donnovan Midas was drafted #7 overall for the Goldpush brand... But just the night before Donnovan Midas, Mike Sensation, Anomally, the Phil and a few other superstars all competed in yet another Battle Royal to determine the Reno Cup Champion and after a hard fought match there was Donnovan Midas and Mike Sensation left in the ring, unfortunately for Donnovan it just wasn't his night so he once again lost out to Mike Sensation... Shortly after this match management in World Pro Wrestling had changed from CEO Lilly to General Manager Greg �Great� White (Ryan). As his first act as GM White set up a match between Donnovan Midas and Alex �The Pitbull� Ortiz. Donnovan went into this match prepared for everything that the pitbull would throw at him, and after a long fought victory he came out victorious earning him a spot in the six-way Continental ladder match at Wrestival. It was right before Wrestival when Donnovan was struck with a huge blow, his mentor and former friend Steve Stansky finally succumbed to cancer and passed away shortly after the Wrestival Press Conference. Donnovan was devastated and vowed to not hold anger and hatred in his heart any longer. After a long struggle to deal with the emotions of Stansky�s death Donnovan became a new man changing all his ways as he lead into Wrestival. The Continental Ladder match was a classic battle, those who fought in it consisted of Phillip Shane Abernathy (Champion) � Patrick Derek Jefferson � Chris Phillips � Sean Graves �Alex Ortiz and of course Donnovan Midas. When it was all said and done PDJ came out victorious over all the men. Donnovan stood in the middle of the ring and shook the hand of PDJ as he was crowned the new champion. On July 18th 2005 Donnovan faced Phillip Shane Abernathy in a number 1 contendership match to determine who would face PDJ on the next Goldpush, after a hard fought battle Donnovan came out victorious getting a shot at PDJ. The next week on Goldpush Donnovan failed to win the Continental title from PDJ but after it was said and done PSA came out ocne again and attacked Donnovan leaving him laying there in the ring in his own blood. WpW Heatwave was right around the corner at this point and GM Greg White determined that Donnovan Midas and P.S.A should face each other in this years Grab for Grudge match with ladders and chairs thrown in the mix. At the end of the match when Donnovan finally came out with the win a fimliar voice came over the P.A system and out came Donnovans brother and manager ACE who seemed to be helping Donnovan out until he planted a chair in Donnovans skull and proclaimed that WpW was going to be invaded by the ALLIANCE and group of men started by ACE and PSA. During this same Heatwave the World Champion Stirken gave up his Heavyweight title forcing a 8 man tournament to determine the champion Donnovan is currently in this tournament. |
