Aurora Bisig was born in Ft. Worth, but raised and attended school in Austin, Tx. So she is a native Texan! Aurora is of Chinese and Irish decent. Aurora is the current Mrs. Texas U. S. States and Ms. Asian America Ambassador. She is married David C. Bisig, Jr. who owns a HVAC/Electrical & Telecom Company. She also owns an insurance agency and an expediting company. Aurora has 5 children, ages 23, 21, 16, 15, and 13 and 3 grandchildren. She enjoys swimming, scuba diving, photography, hunting, gardening, spending time with her family, and all charitable causes.
Platform: Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention
I believe through proper help and intervention children can be taught the signs of abuse and report them to the proper authorities. They can also be taught to tell someone close to them and through that communication, protection will occur. I plan on visiting children's shelters and SafePlace to help better educate the community and
families of child abuse and prevention. Children's are our most precious resources and we must educate, protect and cherish them. I have 5 children myself and 3 grandchildren and cherish all of them and their unique talents and accomplishments. I hope to teach all parents to cherish their children and not to hurt them.
