What is River’s Alive?
Rivers Alive is Georgia's annual volunteer waterway
cleanup event targeting waterways in the State including streams, rivers,
lakes, beaches, and wetlands. The Rivers Alive mission is to create awareness and
involvement in the preservation of Georgia's water resources. This annual October event is sponsored by the
Georgia Department of Natural Resources'. Participants will receive a free
Rivers Alive T-shirt or patch.
