If

If we could live a thousand years,
I couldna love thee more,
For tis with all my heart and soul,
And yet thou dost ignore-
That my feelings e'en exist,
For thou feel nought…in kind,
And so I'm left…to ponder,
If I shalt ever find-
A meaning to the emptiness,
Thy leaving left behind,
For thou felt not…as I did,
So thought it not a crime-
To leave my heart and soul this way,
With bitter tears and woe,
Knowing that my love for thee,
Was left no place to go-
Thus should we live…a thousand years,
I would but wait for thee,
Even though…I mattered not,
As others plainly see-
For tis with all my heart and soul,
That I feel this way,
So if I must…till the end of time,
What more is there…to say?

If

If I were…thy love and free…
I would walk the skies to be with thee,
From the Four Corners of the universe,
Lay the stars of the heavens
before thee--
I would…in tender song and verse,
Of love…sing unto thee,
For if I were thy love,
Such…I'd do…willingly--
If thou were…my love,
Didst choose…to be with me,
I would cross the farthest points of hell,
Simply to be near thee--
For I love thee more than life,
Would surrender such…to thee,
For if thou were my love…I thine,
Let it be…eternally.
