The ongoing research conducted by this office into the existence of black holes [a super massive dead stellar object] has culminated in the finding that precise patterns of distortion have been found which have been postulated to be consistent with those for an object spinning in space, whose gravity is such that it is pulling at the very fabric of space-time itself. Of course, one must take into consideration the Newtonian version of physical law, and the relatively simplistic way things would look through it.

Through observations made, and careful evaluation of the findings, the space-borne instruments utilized for this project have found supporting evidence such postulations may be correct.

Given the nomenclature ‘Frame-dragging’, in essence it entails a massive [in weight, not size] object rotating and pulling the fabric of space-time along with it as it does so. As this process occurs, the gravity of the massive object causes the nearby materials in its path to be dragged into its sphere of influence, and thereby, increasing its speed of rotation as well. This material can be anything from extremely hot gases…to entire systems [depending on the size of the rotating dead stellar object].

These findings represent a significant development in the search for [and finding thereof] of black holes. Should these findings hold up, they would be one more link in the chain to verify the existence of these objects.
