ANGEL FRUIT CAKE
one of my mother's favorite recipes

Make an angel food cake.
Let it cool, then
Slice horizontally about an inch from the top
Make a ditch in the bottom part, pulling out bite-size pieces of cake.

Make a mixture of  
frozen strawberries
strawberry Jello
and I think a half cup or so of boiling water

Add torn out pieces of cake when the mixture is cool or beginning to set up.
Fill the cake with the mixture.
Put on the top layer of the cake, cover and chill. 
Decorate with whipped cream and fresh berries .
