In fifth grade, students are welcome (but not required) to bring in a special treat to share with the class. Please make sure that the treat is something that your child can serve him/herself or with the assistance of a classmate. Each birthday child receives a card signed by the class, a pencil, and homework pass � a precious commodity in fifth grade! Students whose birthdays fall during vacations get to choose an �unbirthday� to celebrate with the class. Those dates will be listed on the class website. |
