Mass Air Upgrade

If you look below at the black hose going from the intake to the front of the car, you'll see the mass air meter. It's the silver looking thing  with the little black box ontop.

I  ended up switching to mass air after a little trip though about 1 1/2 ft of water during a flood here in MD. Water cam in though the doors & shorted out the old speed density computer.Since I was already faced with replacing one of the main parts involved in the mass air swap i decided to fix it & upgrade at the same time. I would have left it speed density if I had not planned on any serious mods, but i do ;->

What's Involved :

Things you will need:

What I used:

1. Mass AIr Meter
2.Wiring harness for said meter
3. Mass air ECA/ECU ( computer)
4.A solidering iron
5.Crimps , and wire strippers
6.Wire loom
7.Wiring instructions & pin In & outs.
8.Brains, Time, Patience
Usefull but not required
1. Mass air meter bracket.
2.Hoses and clamps from a mass air car.

1. Pro-M mass air meter  = $200.00
2.Meter Wiring =  $34.00
(i got the harness from Interactive Systems Technologies, it came  with directions)
3. A ECA from parts house = $100.00
4. Dryer hose clamps = $ 5.00 maybe?

I  figure  total cost on the upgrade to be 350.00 all together after all the little thing
