are three
essential criteria that you should use to determine the quality of any
website.
They are Authority, Content, and Design.
Below you will find a series of questions and suggestions to
help you
evaluate the Content of a website.
CONTENT
When
you investigate the content of a website you find out whether the
information is accurate and reliable. You want to look for evidence of
bias and opinion.
Answer the following questions as thoroughly as possible. Please
make sure you read a few pages and check out a few of the links.

1. Does the content appear to be accurate? Select a few of the
facts and compare them with an encyclopedia article on the topic.

2. Does the infomation seem factual or is there
evidence of opinion stated as fact? Look for the use of adjectives
(best, worst, greatest) and phrases such as "I think" or "I feel".

3. Are there any spelling or grammar mistakes?

4. How up-to-date is the information? Look for a copyright
date at the bottom of the home page or for a notation that states when
the site was last updated. If you cannot find any evidence as to
when the site was last updated, write that down.
