I�ve just gotten past a very important part of my life, and even though I'm only 13 within the past two years I've grown so much, You see two years ago this time of year my mom was diagnosed with cancer... That night my mom and dad sat my brother and me down and told us about it. How the doctors said she will only live one year of good health and after that we would lose her... we all had tears in our eyes and the next couple days nothing was the same thinking of how I might and from the doctors mouth would loose my mom... we couldn�t take it and wanted to do anything to help her. We took my mom to a wonderful place called Roswell. My mom went threw the treatments and day by day where my mom would have been getting worse, she was getting better. Over the long periods of time when my mom was in Buffalo getting treatments I learned so much on how to live on my own, and how to take care of others... Now two years from when she was diagnosed where if we hadn�t of kept trying she would of been suffering to live if not already passed on... my mom has now celebrated 2 birthdays and anniversaries which we all now make point of to remember because she could have been gone. I can now understand how much I love my mom, dad, brother, and sister after this and how I'm so lucky to have them all together. |
