| A Beach Scene |
| Tropical breezes play in my hair as palm leaves sway in the warm moist air. A fine water mist covers my face, leaving it's familiar salty taste. A seagull flying over the water low, gives a warning cry as it circles slow. A pelican too, hovers to catch a fish, for him a favorite tasty dish. A fisherman further up the beach gives out an excited screech as he reels in a prized catch of the day, as excited as a child at play. I sit on my towel and shade my eyes, shading them from the bright sunny skies. Watching this scene unfold brings a smile, I feel so content, I think I'll just stay awhile. |
