The HP series: Without them, I would not be where I am today.
My play: My original play based on a mean Chemistry professor that has an issue with one of his students. Sound familiar?
Black wig: Yep. For those Snape-inspired nights on the town.

One cat, Lilly, a minx. And a stupid black lab\chow mix puppy named Sybil, but I call it Sirius Black because it pisses me off alot.
Religion:
I am a self-proclaimed Snape-ist, but as to any 'real' religion, I do not follow any organized religion. I do believe there is a God, but whether it fits into any pre-existing religion I do not know. I have been described as agnostic. My father thinks I am a goth, because I wear all black very frequently. But I am not.
The Story Behind My Name: "Ellyndia" is Elvish, from the Lord of the Rings series. It is a corruption of the word for 'star' and the word for 'maiden'."McGovern" is the last name of an American senator who ran against Richard Milhouse Nixon in 1972. He was a very liberal, antiwar, antiestablishment candidate. Needless to say, he lost. But I really got the name from Stephen King's character of Bill McGovern in Insomina. He is very paranoid, cynical, and such a wiseass about being old (he's about 60). I identify more with him than the senator. I felt I needed the 'III" because I feel that family ties are very important, and to be the 'third' of anyone indicates tradition, which I also value greatly.
The Story Behind My Email Address: Please do not be mistaken: 'mssnape' is not an indication that I wish I could be married\related to Snape. Instead it is an indication that I feel and act much like Snape. This happened even before I 'discovered' the series. I found myself acting rather cruelly to friends and others (I was notorious in elementary school for my lack of pity and sarcastic remarks). And as I grew up, I found myself getting further from others, acting behind the scenes and learning to act and subsist on my own.And yes, I felt like a horrible person because if it. Then I found Snape and it was like I had justification for feeling like I do. So, it is more through behavior and similar views that I relate to Snape. At the least, in some of my more 'loose' moments, I play (and occasionally RP) as his niece.
My favorite quotes can be found here.
Personality:
Self - Description: well read, very smart, shrewd, calculating, demanding, snappy (pun fully intended), assumes that most people are stupid, argumentative with those few I consider " smart," a bit full of myself, private, very confrontation when the situation demands it, loves the power that comes with superior knowledge, will do whatever to defend my superiority (including having "unrefined" behavior- rage, irrational, ect) , otherwise very quiet, not very sociable, but very vain, cares about image.
I have also taken several personality tests:
Meyers-Briggs: I am an ISTJ, but am very close to being an INTJ (it was like 49% for N and 51% for S)
| ISTJ:: Serious, quiet, earn success by concentration and thoroughness. Practical, orderly, matter-of-fact, logical, realistic and dependable. See to it that everything is well organized. Take responsibility. Make up their own minds as to what should be accomplished and work toward it steadily, regardless of protests or distractions. |
INTJ: Usually have original minds and great drive for their own ideas and purposes. In fields that appeal to them, they have a fine power to organize a job and carry it through with or without help. Skeptical, critical, independent, determined, often stubborn. Must learn to yield less important points in order to win the most important. |
Humors (I don't know the name): I am a major Melancholic, but with Phlematic coming close behind. An explanation of the Melancholic personality can be found here.
Ennegram type: I really don't know much about the system, but...

Natal Chart: Use only if you believe that the placement of the stars and moon have a force in shaping personalities ( I for one would take Divination in a heartbeat). For an explanation, and to get your own natal chart done, go to www.wigitworld.com. (It's free).
Sun: Gemini: The individual with the Sun in Gemini is naturally fitted to achieve self-realisation by means of very lively thinking. Consequently, the person can display considerable versatility, especially in the mental and intellectual sphere (air). So that people with Sun in Gemini will come into their own in situations where they can open quantity of things. Often they fail to work out the implications of what they have found, nor do they apply the facts discovered to themselves; but they can easily end up with a huge assemblage of data, all neatly pigeonholed and arranged, yet not particularly coherent. They like classifying. This stimulates thinking and gives some semblance of order - and order is needed sorely in view of the unceasing hunt for new things. There is some loose connection between the findings, but Gemini's seldom arrive at making a proper synthesis - probably never even try to do so.
Ascendant: Capricorn: Ambitious. This individual is very disciplined in their approach to life. It is very important to them to achieve and to prove themselves. Material rewards are this persons desire. This person is very serious, stern and often time can come across as being cold or reserved but this is how they maintain their dignity and honor. They are persistent in all things that allow them to gain the status they so deeply desire. You have been taught to believe that feeling secure is dependent on what you do for a living. Furthermore, you will make sure that you are respected by those around you, because within you there is a small child craving love and attention. Challenging aspects from other planets to the Moon in the tenth house could call attention to other aspects of your personality, which reinforce the desire for approval.
Moon: Scorpio These people never really expose their emotional life to the light of day. The sense of uncertainty so often linked with this position of the Moon will usually prevent them from doing so. They will try to exact more than a pound of flesh in any matter that they have an emotional stake. They are ready to go through fire for it. Because of their uncertainty however, they like to be highly regarded and value loyalty. Since they are mainly interested in inner security, they do not go looking for merely for a reward. It is the feeling of being important that matters (unlike the member of the cardinal cross is anxious to see what sort of figure he cuts in society)!. A great sensitivity on the other hand, and uncertainty on the other, make them suspicious and wary. This is why that even after a long time, you can hit out hard to avenge a real or fancied injury when the other party may have long since forgotten what it was all about. Gratitude for acts of kindness is equally long lived. You can therefore prove to be very devoted and true but must overcome feelings of uncertainty and other impediments before they can say what is in their hearts. The need to be a somebody is great, and if this need is thwarted it will just make itself known in one way or the other.

Exegi monumentum aere perennius
Regalique situ pyramidum altius....
Non omnius moriar.
I have erected a momument more lasting than bronze
And taller than the regal peak of the pyramids...
I shall never completely die.
