The church of H�r�mence



The people of H�r�mence would build an another construction in concrete.
The church of H�r�mence was built, following the construction of the dam. The church is completely in concrete.
The ancient church was destroyed in 1967 and the construction of the current church began in autumn 1968.

The architect's name is Walter F�derer. The parish church is a masterpiece of the contemporary architecture, dedicated to "Saint Nicolas de Myre".

Its particular architecture and modern design makes of it a curiosity which attracts many visitors. A "sound and light" presentation inform the visitors in the language of their choice.

Marie's grand father was a workman and he made the cross at the top of the church.
The plans of the church were shut away in a big stone of the church for the future people.

In October 1971 was the inauguration and benediction of the bells�
