NSDAC Veterans Committee encourages all to continue making "bibs" Lapkin for the Veterans and other items such as wheelchair/walker bags, lap robes, and to provide comfort items, VISITS to veterans and etc.

For 2009 - 2012 the NSDAC Veterans Committee is adding Active Duty Military helping "Operation First Response (OFR) " -- Backpack and items enclosed are given below.


OFR BACKPACKS

OFR backpacks are sent to combat support hospitals in Iraq and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. The backpacks are given to our wounded when they arrive with no personal belongings. Each 17" X 12.5" X 7" completely black backpack (no logos) to contain:

Clothing T-shirt, Knit boxers, White crew socks, and solid colors (black, navy, or gray) sweat pants and shirt
Hygiene - Travel Size Tooth Brush, Tooth Paste, Dental Floss, Mouthwash, Deodorant, Cotton swabs, Disposable razors, Non- aerosol shaving cream/gel, Shampoo, Hand Lotion, Body Powder, Anti bacterial wet wipes
Grooming 5"hair combs, Nail clippers/file
misc Prepaid phone card, 45" X 45" Handmade cot quilt
