The star is in the Perseus Constellation located along the Milky Way. Perseus was a Hero in Greek Mythology. He was the slayer of Medusa.
The star was dedicated with the following words "The miles may seperate us but our Star will always be shinning above us wherever we are"
This star was named by a man for a woman that he loves very much but can not be with all the time. Like Perseus he will always be her hero.
It acts as reminder to both of them that they are together in one universe no matter how far apart they are.
