  The wood is of extreme high quality and very durable. Items to beautify any home. The wood type is known as wenge. The ornaments are made either out of wood or copper. Especially look at the one photograph in section "Ornaments # 2" and note that the wooden ornaments in that picture are actually music instruments. An interesting point about the wood out of which the furniture are made - the quality is SO high - the normal procedure is to cut the wood and then the wood is floated on the river to the place where the people work with it. This specific wood is so heavy - it is impossible to let it float in the river water - it will just sunk down to the bottom. They have to transport this wood by other means to its destination(s).
