What Sango Wants – Part Four: A Confident
Aamalie: Crap... Do you know how absolutely crazy the movie
Titanic is? I just watched it for the first time in several years last night...
That movie goes from interesting, to fluffy, to limey, to lemonly,
to 'oh shit, that wasn't supposed to happen', to 'you yarou',
to 'oh shit again', to 'this really can't be good', to 'awwww',
to angsty, to *sob*.
Taena: I was reading fics
the whole time... Oh yeah. Cookies to everyone who reviewed,
and brownies to everyone who wished us a happy birthday!
Maela: Yeah... And we were having some writers block
in this story, so it maybe be either slightly undescriptive or short. But at least we're writing! ^^' But
we got the most votes for Kagome... Don't worry, Inuyasha
will find out eventually. We *really* liked the 'both' idea. This is just what
works most for now.
Disclaimer: The fact that this is a FANFICTION should be a small hint.

Making his way back to camp, Miroku considered his
options, narrowing it down to two: Inuyasha and
Kagome.
"Well, let me see... Inuyasha may be a good
choice. If he was in a reasonable mood, he may be able to... Wait. What am I
saying? He has worse girl problems than me. Kagome gets along well with Sango though, and may be able to help... That's it. When
they get back, I'll talk to her." Calming his jumbled nerves with this
thought, he continued on, putting on his 'innocent' face. When he entered the
well-worn clearing, Inuyasha glanced at him.
"Made it out alive eh?" The houshi
shrugged.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Feh."
And that was the end of that conversation.
Miroku was literally twiddling his thumbs in
contemplation when Sango and Kagome finally returned.
It was all he could do to not jump up and insist to talk to her the moment he
saw her, as it was quite obvious it wouldn't be a 'private' conversation if he
did that. Then again, which conversation between the lot
of them was actually private.
He mostly remained quiet as the girls got their next meal ready. This time,
Kagome had been so inovative as to bring a cooler
filled with breads, condiments, and other random foods. So, they were having
sandwiches, instead of ramen, which caused Inuyasha
to go into withdrawl.
As Kagome served up the food onto plates, she walked around, handing them out,
giving Miroku a warning glare as she walked towards
him. He sighed, rolling his eyes and nodding. She blinked, a bit surprised at
this reaction as she gave him his food.
"I need to speak with you later Lady Kagome. Its
important... Don't tell the others," he muttered, avoiding looking her in
the eyes. Kagome raised her eyebrows at the houshi's
unnerved state, noting the uneasy glance he threw at Sango.
*It must be about her... I wonder?* "Okay," she replied, going back
over to eat her own food. She sat near Sango, both
eating.
"What'd he say?" the taijiya whispered.
Kagome shook her head.
"He wants to speak with me. I'll tell you later..." Sango nodded. "Which means NO
following." She sighed.
"Oh fine..." Kagome nodded, getting up and walking over to Inuyasha's tree and exchanging a few words with him. Miroku caught something about following, Sango, and getting ramen, followed by a feh-filled
agreement. Kagome walked out towards the path, waving at Miroku
to follow. He sighed. So much for secrecy. He got up,
following as if his world was coming to an end.
As he walked out of the clearing, he glanced back. Sango
was watching him, looking slightly confused and concerned. He hadn't even tried
to get near her since the springs. He could hear her asking herself what was
going on subconsciously. He gave her a small grin, then turned back to follow
Kagome.
She was standing near the springs when he caught up with her. She folded her
arms, tapping her foot.
"So. What did you want to say?" Miroku sighed, leaning against a tree.
"It's a bit unbelieveable, but true."
"What is?" The houshi shrugged.
"I can hear what Sango is thinking." Kagome
stared.
"WHAT?!"
~*~
Sango's frown deepened as Miroku
gave her a weak grin, before turning and following Kagome.
*What's wrong with him?* she thought. *He doesn't usually act like this. You'd
think he was freaking out over something.* She got up, making her way quietly
after them, only to be cut off by Inuyasha.
"Hey! Let my past!"
"No," he said, looking bored.
"Why not?! It's not like you never
eavesdrop." The hanyou shrugged.
"There's ramen on the line." Sango sighed,
going back over to her seat, Inuyasha looking smug.
"Well, I guess I'll know eventually," she murmmured,
leaning her head against the tree.

Aamalie: Short and lame. It'll get better slowly...
I'm running out of ideas... That and 5 days is a looooooooooooooooong
time to go without writing.
Taena: Well, at least we went shopping.
Maela: Yeah... Well, R/R! Laterz!
Aamalie: We want 60 reviews from ff.net before we
post the next chapter! Inu.net... Eh. Doesn't matter.
