"Idiot." Izumo muttered, shaking his head. Hokusai walked beside him, sporting a few very fashionable
bruises. All plainly visible and all well deserved.
"Hey, at least I'm making some progress-"
Izumo snorted.
"-unlike you."
Izumo just grumbled and grabbed an apple form a
random kids lunch.
"Hey!" the boy whined, but Izumo silenced
him with a growl and show of fangs. Hokusai looked
on, slightly amused, but continued to pursue the topic.
"I don't see what the problem is. You have two very beautiful women
chasing after you, yet you can't seem to make up your mind. What
the hells the matter with you, man?"
"I'm indecisive, that's all."
"Well you'd better get decisive soon. Otherwise, you very well may end up
losing a shot at either of them."
"What do you mean by that?" Izumo asked, mouth full of fruit. Hokusai
cringed.
"I mean someone may very soon take on of them for their
own."
"Like who? You?"
"Oh no," Hokusai grinned, casting an
almost predatory look at the back of a girl a few tables away. She was sitting
alone, not that she seemed bothered by it, and had her head buried in a book.
Izumo shook his head again. "It's your funeral
man."
"Or my wedding."
"Same difference." He shrugged and walked off, munching
contently on his apple.
