Look At The
Stars
Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, etc. I'm just a hopeless romantic who wanted some
fluff *-*

The Sky twinkled with
bright stars, magical really. Sitting alone under a tree, Sango
closed her eyes and sighed.
They'd had another battle
with Naraku today. Another battle
against her little brother.
'Kohaku...'
She absently fingered the
scar he had given her not long ago. But he wasn't himself when he did that to
her... To the rest of the exterminators. He was under
a demons control then too...
She would not allow Naraku continue to control him like a puppet. She couldn't!
Seeing him like that... it broke her heart.
His eyes, once so full of
life, were blank... Dull... And his face that always used to smile was so
solemn. That wasn't him, that wasn't her beloved brother. She'd rather see him
die then allow him to continuously be used as he was, under the control of that
monster.
A Soft hand gently wiping
her cheek broke her out of her thoughts. She hadn't realized she had been
crying until then.
"Hoshi-sama..." She looked up at him.
"I know what you're
going through Sango. We all do..." He said
sadly, gazing into her eyes. "I'll- We'll get him back. For you Sango, we'll get him back..."
She gasped softly, trying
to hold the tears that threatened to overflow. What he said was so simple, yet
it touched her so much. Sure he was a lecher, but he did care... And he showed
it in the simplest ways. Sometimes... So simple that
she missed it.
Bringing his head down
slowly, he kissed her just under her eye, where a single tear had leaked. And just as gently, kissed her forehead. She gasped in
shock. She had expected a grope, or something along those lines. But not this, not this gentle and almost loving gesture.
"I'll leave you now,"
he said with a small bow, and made to turn away.
"Wait! Hoshi-...Miroku..." She grabbed his robe just as he was about
turn. "Sit with me...please?"
The look in her eyes was
so pleading that he couldn't say no, he didn't want to anyway. There was nothing more he wanted then to just sit under the stars
and the moon with her. So, controling a blush, he
obliged and sat at her side. "Nice night..." He said softly,
carefully wrapping an arm around Sango's waist.
Blushing, she smiled to
herself, "Yes.." She whispered, resting her
head on his shoulder, "Look at the stars"
