Philosophy of Education
(The Shorter Version)

- Those who care teach.

- Students who feel cared about learn better.

- To be an effective teacher, I plan to walk the fine line between being a student's teacher
   and a student's friend.

- As a teacher of English, it is my responsibility to lead my students in understanding the
   components of this subject area.

- It is important to set learning goals before teaching of material begins.

- Using methods such as Best Practice and Constructivism to create lessons that are interactive
  and interdisciplinary is a must.

- As a teacher, I am accountable for coaching such life-long needed skills such as responsibility,
interaction, appropriateness, and of course, how to  learn.

- A least restrictive environment for learners with special needs is most beneficial, as long
as the adaptations to be made are reasonable.

- All students can learn.  Not only that, but all students will learn.

- By reflecting on and evaluating my own lesson plans based on student feedback as
well as my own, I plan to grow and learn immensely as a teacher (especially in the first years)

- To teach is to touch lives forever.
