Marilyn's Yummy Pumpkin Bread

This 'bread' is really more like cake.
I bake several loaves each year as gifts for family, neighbors, my hairdresser,etc.
The recipe makes two 8-1/2" x 4-1/2" loaves. It freezes well.

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease two 8-1/2x4-1/2 loaf pans
In Large bowl, mix the following dry ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 cups sugar
1-1/2 tsps. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. baking powder

In medium bowl with fork, beat the following until well blended:
3 eggs
1 15-oz can pumpkin
1 cup salad oil

Stir the pumpkin mixture into the flour mixture just until well blended.
Stir in: 1 cup dark or golden seedless raisins and 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Spoon evenly into loaf pans and bake 1 hour 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool in pans on rack 10 minutes; remove from pans; cool on rack
