| Juneau vs. Tech 2-08-02 The Lady Pioneers lost to Tech the second time around by a score of 52-48. Two players scored double doubles in the game, but it wasn't enough for the nine 3 pointers Tech launched and hit. Shameka Beverly scored 18 points and 12 rebounds. Danielle Childs got 17 points, 13 rebounds and 5 steals. Danae Lindsey had 8 points and 3 rebounds. Alicia Benson added 4 points and 2 steals. Mawa Konate chipped in a free throw to complete Juneau's scoring. Speaking of free throws...Juneau made only 15 of 34 attempts. When you lose by 4, that makes those lowly freethrows real important! |
| Juneau vs. Bay View 2-12-02 Juneau lost to Bay View by a score of 62-48. Tyrika Gordon had 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Danielle Childs added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals before fouling out of the game in the 3rd quarter. Danae Lindsey had 9 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Alicia Benson chipped in 3 points. Jessica White and Jessica Games both scored a bucket to complete Juneau's scoring. |

| Juneau vs. Messmer 2-19-02 Juneau's Lady Pioneers bowed out of the W.I.A.A. tournament losing to Messmer by a score of 55-44. The Lady Pioneers hit a cold shooting spell in the 3rd quarter and the drought killed us. Sophomore center Shameka Beverly led the offense with her last double double of the season scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 5 steals. Junior point guard Tyrika Gordon finished with 10 points and 5 steals. Sophomore point forward Danielle Childs led the defense with 14 rebounds, 6 blocked shots and 5 steals while scoring 8 points. Junior forward Danae Lindsey had 6 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Senior guard Shelly Krug had two rebounds and a steal. Sophomore guard Alicia Benson chipped in 5 points, 3 rebounds and 5 steals to complete Juneau's scoring. |
