| Articles and Adjectives "Dieser" or "Der" Words There are three types of articles in the German language. All three have their own set of rules. The first type is called "Der Words". These include" the der,die,das, etc. these dies- each, every jed- that jen- many manch- such solch- which welch- all all- These take endings equal to what the article is aftoer the "d". z.B.: each flower flower = die Blume In the Nominative it is die Blume/jede Blume. In the Accusative it is die Blume/jede Blume. In the Dative it is der Blume/jeder Blume. In the Genitive it is der Blume/jeder Blume. Use the following chart if you are lost. B. : any color smart crazy excellent funny outrageous Adjectives in German are used just as in English. They do, however, have an ending dependant upon its nouns article and case.
