Klaipeda is a seaport city on the edge of the Baltic. It is a very busy port and also is a ferry crossing across the Kursiai Lagoon to the Curonian pennisula. The city itself is very German in architectural style, due to many years of German influence. It has a very interesting old town and many fascinating museums to offer.
