The Caverns of Sonora is my favorite cave in Texas of course Cave Without a Name comes to a close second.  It's a long boring drive out west of San Antonio, but I promise you it is well worth the long drive.  You will see more cave popcorn in this cave than you will in any other cave in that region and also this cave has a very rare formation called the butterfly which is a unique helectite formation.  It is a living cave that is one of the most active in the world, with more than 90% of the cave still forming.  This cave is a must see!
