The following photos are courtesy of Mr. Keishin Kikugawa of Kyoto, Japan taken at the JMC Osaka Convention in November 2000. He was kind enough to send them to me. A kind gesture from one modeler to another. Modelers rule! The rest of the world could learn a lesson or two from us! And in the meantime, Mr. Kikugawa, please teach me how to take pictures like that!!!
This is what the model looked like written up in the Japanese "Model Aircraft Catalog 2001". I came across this book just by chance while browsing through the periodical shelves at one of the local bookstores. I had no idea that my Sabre, or for that matter, my Hansa-Brandenburg W.29, were in it. A pleasant surprise, enough to make me spill my Frappucino in my lap, and more than enough to plunk down 20 bucks for. Hi Mom!
