The phrase seemed so corny and so...cliché....that I readily brushed it aside almost immediately. As some of you may know, I am a die hard fighting gamer, constantly training myself in games such as Street Fighter and Tekken, even going as far as to actually aquire a little bit of training in the real world of martial arts. And it would just follow that the action genre is one of the only two genres of media and entertainment I support. The second one, however, is comedy, and that was what my friend used to lure me to his trap. He told me that Love Hina isn't all that mushy, and is actually something that would make me laugh my heart out. The mushy title still bothered me, but upon hearing the type of jokes it had to offer (specifically the "grabbing" jokes), then I decided to give it a try. Boy, did I know what I was getting into..... Love Hina is a story about a boy whose girl-less life was suddenly turned around as he discovered that his grandma's house where he planned to make a living is actually a girl's dormitory!! Having to live with all those gorgeous babes and their different personalities comprise the comic parts of the series, then the mushy part kicks in as he gets closer and closer to fulfilling his quest, which was to get into Tokyo U because of a romantic childhood promise. All my friends just loved it, but to their surprise (and to my surprise as well), I actually liked the mushy part myself! It isn't that old fashioned after all. The story is, of course, way too short compared to the manga, but at least they got color and sound. I just love Kitsune's voice whenever she cooks up one of her little "schemes" ^_^ * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 01 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - A boy and girl is playing. The girl maade the boy promise to meet her at Tokyo University, because of a saying that if two people who are in love with one another entered Tokyo U together, they will live happily ever after. She then gives him a kiss. - The boy, Keitaro Urashima, is now 20 yyrs old. He gets accepted into Toudai (Tokyo U) and meets the girl of his past. They spend lots of time together, and finally get married. - Suddenly his grandma wants to kiss himm in the lips. He is disgusted to death and wakes up, realizing that the whole Toudai thing was just a dream. - In reality he isn't a Toudai student, and has actually already failed the Toudai entrace exams twice. - His mom is frustrated at another "E" iin the exam, says she can't continue paying for him. - He offers to find a living and pay forr his tuition fee. - His grandma retires as an all-girls doorm manager. - Keitaro once again dreams of passing tthe Toudai exams, and gets carried away. He starts shaking hands with everyone, including a nerdy looking girl. - Just then one of his friends appear, ssaying that he once again failed the mock exams for Toudai, and at that rate is sure to fail entering Toudai yet again. - The girl gets disgusted and gives him the best SuperMegaHyper Punch(tm) you'll ever see in the entire series. (I really laughed my heart out after seeing this one!) - Another friend tells him that nerdy giirl is the one who got a grade worthy of a Toudai exam. - Keitaro heads for his grandma's house.. - He notices a high school girl crying aand decides to draw her face in his sketchpad, this time smiling. - Three old men grabs his sketchpad and tosses it towards the girl who notices the drawing and weeps. - Keitaro runs away in fear but now the girl smiles because of the sketch. - He finds his way to Hinata Inn (his grrandma's place), but no one's there. - He discovers a hot spring bath, and deecides to give it a try. - Just then someone else enters.....a giirl.....in a towel. - She refers to him as Kitsune, but quicckly notices that he's a man the moment she got a hold of his main weapon. A cry for help follows. - She panics and runs around the hot sprrings, while not letting go of you-know-what. The only time she let go was by force, when she runs past a big stone and Keitaro crashes into it. - Keitaro bows in apology, but ends up fface first into her breasts. Super Punch number two. he ends up with a basin of Kitsune's clothes (and underwear) on his head. - He again panics and runs. Now there's two of them chasing him. - Now he runs into a brown-skinned girl,, who has in her arsenal a line of toy tanks that actually have real ammunition. He is blown outside the house. - They have finally caught him, but justt then his Aunt Haruka appears. - She tells them he is a Toudai sophomorre, and worthy of being the dorm's resident manager. - Kitsune, thinking he might be really rrich someday, convinces everyone to let him stay. - She then quickly introduces herself ass Mitsune Konno, only nicknamed "Kitsune" She also says the first girl he saw was Naru Narusegawa. - She lets him touch her breast, and sayys because of that her rent should be free. But Naru storms in and now Kitsune claims he grabbed her on purpose. - Keitaro confronts Haruka about the liee, but she says it's a good lie since otherwise Hinata Inn will close and the girls (Naru, Kitsune, and Suu) would have nowhere to stay. Naru overhears all this. - She reveals herself as the nerdy girl and says she knows the truth. - She slips and falls on top of Keitaro.. - Kitsune and Suu storm in, and Naru liees and tells them that Keitaro really is a Toudai student. - Keitaro is given his own bathroom to pprohibit him from entering the hot springs, but he finds out it actually overlooks those springs, and sees Naru in her towel. Somehow her Super Punch reached two stories high and pummels him to oblivion. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 02 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Shinobu, the little girl Keitaro draw a sketch of, was approached by the same old men that picked on Keitaro. They say if she wanted to return the sketchpad, he'll be at Hinata Inn. - She goes to school, only to find her ffriend, Taichi being ridiculed with make-up by the female class bully. - It is revealed that she is about to bee transfered to another school. Their family is moving to a different place. - She decides to go to Hinata Inn. - Meanwhile, Motoko is introduced as thee swordswoman, slicing water falls away like a true master of her art. - The Hinata girls greet Shinobu, and shhe returns Keitaro's sketchpad, but they all look at it as Keitaro arrives. It's full of sketches of girls in bikinis. - Keitaro is embarassed, and Shinobu takkes the sketchpad back and runs away crying. - That evening the Hinata residents deciide to eat at the restaurant where Shinobu lives, but it's closed now (since they're moving). - Haruka reveals Shinobu's parents can'tt afford the divorce, so they gave up the store and are now arguing for her custody. - The next day, Shinobu leaves and meetss Keitaro, who invites her for a farewell party at Hinata Inn. - They are having problems with cooking,, but Shinobu helps out and proves to be a great cook. - Keitaro trips and gets to firmly grab Shinobu's butt. Punished by Naru but complimented by Shinobu (saying he's so strong and all). - Shinobu's parents arrive looking for hher, but she doesn't want to go with them. Keitaro tries to hide her upstairs. - At the rooftop, Keitaro consoles Shinoobu by saying she can enter Toudai like he did, and so gets buried deeper into his lie. He also says she can cook very well and make him very happy with that. - Shinobu's parents finally found her, bbut she says she wants to stay. - Keitaro takes full responsibility. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 03 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Keitaro and his classmates Haitani andd Shirai fail the mock exams again, and decide to go girl hunting instead. - But they hit on Motoko, and she attackks them. Shirai and Haitani run as fast as they could, leaving Keitaro behind. - Motoko hangs him by her umbrella. - He struggles to breathe, and in the prrocess grabs her breast. She sends him flying. - Back at Hinata Inn, he sees her again in a towel. They get formally introduced. - Motoko is puzzled at how she feels weaak whenever Keitaro is there. The old stooges butt in yet again to say it's "love". - Keitaro discovers a hole in the ceilinng. It leads to Naru's room, but Motoko's also there. She is furious but faints. - Suu explains she got a cold from gettiing wet in the rain, and she' relieved Keitaro wasn't her first love, then quickly gets furious at thinking he played with her emotions. - Motoko challenges Keitaro to a match ffor the position of manager of Hinata Inn. - She corners him at the rofftop, but faaints yet again. - He catches her just in time. They arguue, but Motoko finally accepts him as the manager. It's him who falls instead, but doesn't die. He's an immortal. - At the hot springs, the girls finally discover Keitaro is not really a Toudai student. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 04 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Keitaro begs them to let him stay, andd they agree. (But in his diary he writes about them begging him to stay.) - However he must do the real job of a mmanager, which is to clean the entire Hinata Inn inside out. - Later he goes through the hole in the ceiling into Naru's room to ask for help in the test, but sees her changing. It's clobberin time! - But he does get Naru to help him, and while at it she asks why he is determined to enter Toudai. - He then asks her if a girl would rememmber a 15 yr old promise to a boy she liked. She passionately agrees - Kitsune suddenly enters the room, and Naru hides Keitaro under a heater table. It's too hot for him. - He decides to push the switch, but it''s Naru he gets to bury his finger in. Her face goes all red, but then Kitsune leaves. - Naru executes a whirlwind Punch that ssends Keitaro back to hole from which he came. The next day he decides to barricade it once and for all. - To do that he has to be in Naru's roomm, and so he discovers her diary, takes a quick glance, and notice that the phrases, "promise", "15 yrs ago", and "aim for Toudai" were written. - But Naru finds out and push him back iinto the hole. They don't talk to each other the following days. - The day of another mock exam. Keitaro checks the answer key and finds his first three answers all wrong. He gives up. - He finds out Naru did well, and so he decides never to return to Hinata Inn. But it turns out all his items are still there. - He decides to "steal" his own items, bbut gets caught. He successfully escapes, but leaves his diary behind, revealing his identity. - Shinobu tries to go after him, but Narru says it's better not to. - Haruka, however, enters the scene and reminds Naru that she herself went through that stage. Everyone is then convinced to look for him. - Keitaro is at Toudai, and Naru somehoww knew it and went there. She tells him to close his eyes..... - And goes for a Super Punch! She says sshe forgives him now, but he insists reading her his diary. She finds out he lies even to his diary! - She's okay with it though, and even saays she also made a promise with someone to enter Toudai. - Keitaro is now sure Naru is the one. IIt even turns out he did well in the exam he had given up on. - He rushes for the hot springs and telll Naru about his score, but of course the Hinata Inn girls were taking a bath, and so he gets launched sky-high. - At the end of the episode, it is reveaaled that the entire sentence in Naru's diary was, "I aimed for Toudai to fulfill a promise I made with Seta-san (her tutor). But it started 15 years ago." It seems Keitaro got it all wrong..... * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 05 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Exam day, Naru and Keitaro went to thee wrong campus, and rush for their true destination. - Keitaro misplaces his ticket, then sudddenly a van comes chasing him. - He bumps into a girl who dies, and thee turtle on her head is the witness. It glares at him frighteningly. - Then the girl seemingly rises from thee dead and introduce herself as Mutsumi Otohime. She didn't die after all. Keitaro runs off. - The van catches up and crashes into hiim. The driver, blood all over his face, hands him his ticket. It seems he forgot it back at the other campus. - The next day, they both check the resuults. Keitaro fails again. Naru leaves him, but he gives chase. - It turns out Naru failed too, and so tthey both unwind at a bar. - Keitaro confronts her of their promisee, but Naru reveals it can't be her since 15 yrs ago she would only have been 2 yrs old. Keitaro is definitely heart broken. - March. Both decide to travel far away,, but end up in the same train. They don't recognize each other though. - Both also call Hinata Inn, which makess the gals there think they're going to elope! - Both break their glasses, and so get ccloser to each other without knowing who the other really was. They even tour Kyoto together. - He sees a photo sticker booth and deciide to add a pic to his collection. But Naru joins for the pic. He is overjoyed. - It turns out they also get to stay in the same room (the inn they checked into ran out of rooms) and the innkeeper has already fixed their glasses. Imagine the shock..... - The next scene makes it seem they're ffinally "doing it" but really it's just a rather violent game of table tennis. And while they're at it they hurl insults and hurt each other's feelings. - Before they go to sleep, Naru places aa divider and warns Keitaro not to cross the line. - The next day she finds out Keitaro tieed himself up, and she appreciates it very much. She invites him for some more sightseeing. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 06 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Suu and Shinobu leave to find Naru andd Keitaro. Kitsune tells Motoko the horrors that might happen, so now Motoko and Kitsune follow. - At Kyoto, Naru and Keitaro meet Mutsummi, who faints quite often. - She says Keitaro's cute. The guy is ovverwhelmed. She also says she's been trying to get into Toudai for three yrs now. She and Keitaro fumble so much, and Naru concludes they are of the same wavelength. - Keitaro is about to say he likes Naru,, but Mutsumi crashes into him. - Naru suggest they take Mutsumi home, bbut it's waaaaay back in Okinawa. - They board a truck, and the bumpy ridee makes Keitaro fall on top of Naru. Romance kicks in but he's too shy. Naru notices the truck's headed for Sendai, which is in the opposite direction. - Suu mistakes Sendai for Kyoto, so in aa stroke of luck they spot Naru and Keitaro in the truck. - Naru, Mutsumi, and Keitaro board a boaat for Okinawa. - Mutsumi confronts Keitaro about Naru, and he says he likes her, so Mutsumi takes a shower with Naru and tells her what he said. - Suu and Shinobu go out of cash, but Mootoko and Kitsune arrive just in time to save them from an evil gang. - It turns out to be just a movie being shot. - On the boat, Mutsumi says her home is actually an island close to Okinawa, so she has to ride a life boat. - The two come along, but a storm ensuess and they all get washed away. The rest of the gang see them on TV, as missing people. - Keitaro wakes up on an island, with Naaru and Mutsumi in bathing suits. The weak girl faints yet again. - Naru fetches them some water, but Mutssumi gives Keitaro his first kiss while she was away. She gets back just in time to see it happen. - She runs off, and naturally Keitaro giives chase, and stumbles over her. Romance kicks in, but so does everyone else. - Kitsune and the others all arrive in aa motor boat, driven by Mutsumi's uncle. It turns out the island was her home's backyard. - They part ways, and Mutusmi also givess Naru a kiss! She also gives her a parting gift, a hot spring turtle. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 07 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Suu invents a device to show what a peerson is dreaming about on TV and tries it on Naru. A mysterious dream date appears on screen. - It's graduation day. Naru's late, and evens changes clothes in front of Keitaro. - Suddenly a vehicle drills its way fromm under Hinata Inn - A man who looks like the one on Naru'ss dream appears, and takes Naru for a ride. He introduces himself as Kentaro Sakata. - Shirai and Haitani offer Keitaro tickeets to an amusement park, for 8000 yen (even if they got it for free) and Keitaro accepts, hoping to invite Naru. - But he overhears Naru saying Kentaro hhas those tickets too. Now he's ashamed to ask. Naru looks troubled though. - Suu slams the dream viewer on Keitaro''s head and they see a mushy date with Naru, then suddenly Kentaro enters the scene. It turns out Suu also gave him a dream viewer linked to Keitaro. - Kentaro shows off his skills in datingg via dream viewer, and Keitaro is pissed off, in the end he smashes the dream viewer to bits. - But it turns out Naru only asked Kentaaro for the tickets, but had no plans of going out with him on a date. - There are lots of extra tickets, enouggh for the rest of the girls to tag along. They all grab the opportunity of course. - Suu delivers a solid flying kick to Keeitaro's face, and he ends up burying his hand into Naru's breast. Super Punch conclusion. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 08 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Motoko enters Keitaro's dream in whichh she has to save Naru, and the rest of the gang are just little kids. - They all plead for her to get a costumme too, and now she's showing more skin here than in all the other previous episodes combined. - An RPG ensues, with the Naru as the onne to be saved. - At the end, Motoko finds out it's her dream after all, and becomes a little kid herself. - She wakes up, and hot the springs findd out Naru had the same dream too. Keitaro suddenly enters, and get tag-team-kicked. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 09 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Keitaro finds out all the rent money eeveryone paid him is missing! - Kitsune and Suu spring into action as theft detectives. - But everyone has a solid alibi. Naru sseems to be looking for something though..... - Suu figures out it's Tama-chan (the tuurtle) and they try to inspect it, but Naru sees something and grabs the turtle for herself. - Keitaro helps her run away with the tuurtle. Everyone gives chase. - They finally caught up, but Haruka tellls Kitsune to get it over with. Kitsune admits it's her fault. Everyone is relieved. - It turns out Naru was looking for the photo sticker of her and Keitaro. She cherishes it after all. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 10 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Keitaro is awoken by something rubbingg against his back. It's Suu! She gives him a backbone breaking hug in her sleep. - They get caught by Naru, who tries to attack, but gets included in the bear hug. Everyone sees and dirty thoughts enter their minds. - Suu refered to Keitaro as "brother". TThe next day she says she really likes Keitaro, who is now overwhelmed at his first time being liked by a girl. - At night, Kentaro sees a someone lookiing like Suu but is a lot more mature. He offers her flowers but gets attacked by a huge white croc from behind. - Kentaro tells the rest of Hinata Inn aabout this, but Keitaro is determined to prove Suu's innocence. He and Naru investigate. - Keitaro finally sees Suu' adult form, and she thinks he's her brother - But she wasn't the one who attacked peeople with a croc since there is another Suu, her sister Amalla to be precise. - Keitaro's head gets introduced to the croc's mouth. - Amalla explains Suu is distracted by KKeitaro looking like her brother, and grows into an adult when the moon is red. But her body won't be able to handle it for long. - The solution, apparently, would be forr Keitaro to fall in love with Amalla so they can both run far away from Suu! - Amalla tries to give him a kiss, but NNaru enters and sends him flying out the window. - Amalla tries to escape with Keitaro, wwho's all tied up. - The rest of the gang corner her, but tthe red moon is out. Suu transforms. - Keitaro tells her there is no need to,, since her young form is cute. - She remembers her true brother tellingg her to grow up quickly, and realizes Keitaro is not her brother. She faints. - The next day Amalla leaves and everythhing returns to normal, but not before she and the croc take a dip at the hot springs. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 11 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Naru is selected (by Kentaro) to be ann "Idol", and her job basically is to become famous with magazines, albums, tv appearances, etc. - She finds little time left with Keitarro, who's feeling very lonely now. - He thinks she has to come back becausee of their goal to get to Toudai, but Kitsune and Haruka explain she only aimed for Toudai because she fell in love with her tutor in high school who was a Toudai student. - But now she lost all contact with thatt tutor, and so she doesn't have any more reason to continue trying for Toudai. - Keitaro is heart broken, and takes a bbath. Naru suddenly storms in and dives in his tub. She probably got a good look at his main weapon. - Kentaro comes looking for her, but Keiitaro doesn't tell. - Motoko and Shinobu get discovered and replace Naru, with Kitsune as their manager. - Naru takes the time out with Keitaro. It's their first date. They go different places, even to an action movie and to an aquarium. - Naru tells Keitaro that her mother remmarried, and now she has new sister, nobody seemed to love her, that's why she decided to stay at Hinata Inn. - Keitaro tells her not to give up beingg an idol, but Naru gets furious since it's like telling her not to go back at Hinata Inn, he gets a Super Punch. - A nosy reporter gets a pic of that, annd exposes Naru to the public, getting her fired. But it's all good. - Kitsune also bet all of Kentaro's moneey on a horse race and lose. - Naru tells Keitaro she will fulfill laast year's promise with him to get to Toudai together. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 12 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Everyone discovers Motoko's weakness: turtles. She's actually terrified at their very presence! - She runs around the inn with only a toowel, but Keitaro bumps into her, gets a firm hold of her breast, and pulls her towel away, enabling him to see her entire naked body. He gets blasted into the skies. - She also runs out of clothes, and so KKitsune outfit her with a whole lot of costumes, the best of which is actually Haruka's. - Keitaro says she's cute, and she gets furious and strikes him, but he executes a bare hand sword counter. She is dumbfounded. - Tama-chan comes for her, she strikes aagain, and this time even the turtle counters her strike. She faints in shock. - She runs out of the inn, and meet Keittaro along the way. She asks him a favour. - Back at Hinata Inn, they all see Keitaaro and Motoko switch clothes. Naru suspects soemthing happened between them, and gives Keitaro a Super Hurricane Kick. - Lotsa appliances are missing, then Kittsune sees Tama-chan flying away with all those things. - Suu organizes a search party. She evenn invents a turtle locator. - They discover a secret passage from unnder the stairs. It goes two ways. - They split up. Keitaro, Naru, Motoko iin one group, Kitsune, Suu, and Shinobu in the other. - Keitaro's group discover a path towardds a place outside the inn. - Kitsune's group discover Suu's Mecha TTama-chan using the stolen appliances to grow as gigantic as possible. (the Tama-chan they saw earlier was actually Mecha Tama-chan) - For some reason Motoko can't attack riight, and blames her feminine clothing, but Keitaro gives a little speech on how those clothes shouldn't affect her. In the end she is able to save the day. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 13 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Kitsune is bored to death. She decidess to invite Suu and Shinobu into peeking into Naru and Keitaro while they're studying. - They see Keitaro try to kiss a sleepinng Naru, but doesn't have the guts. He tries again, but Naru is awake now, gives him a Super Punch, and pokes the peeker's eyes. - Shinobu suddenly get interested in whaat a kiss tastes like. At school she finds out her friend Taichi, who was always bullied, was actually already kissed. - She also finds out that Taichi and Suuu are good friends now, and conclude that it was Suu who kissed Taichi. - Kitsune finds out about Shinobu's preddicament, and offer her lipstick. - Shinobu confronts Naru and Keitaro aboout kissing, and they both admit their first kiss was with Mutsumi. - Kentaro appears (he's now working partt time at Hinata Inn because of bankruptcy) and tries to demonstrate a kiss with Haruka, but gets whacked with a pan. - Keitaro notices Shinobu's lipstick. Shhe feels really happy about it. - The next day Taichi is already at Hinaata Inn playing with Suu. Shinobu joins in. - Suu invents a kiss trainer to help Shiinobu, but she ran away as fast as she could. The kiss trainer takes Kitsune and Motoko for victims. It gets blown to bits by Motoko of course. - Taichi offers to kiss Shinobu instead,, but she furiously rejects, runs away, and bumps into Keitaro. He takes her to the roof. - Suu suddenly appears and slams her newwest invention, a special kiss trainer, into Keitaro's head. It forces him to go looking for a kiss. - Of course Naru's there to send him skyy high and knock the kiss trainer off his head. - Suu confronts Shinobu and gives her a kiss. - Shinobu pushes her back angrily, askinng her why she took everything away including Shinobu's first kiss and her friend Taichi. - Suu explains she and Shinobu always diid what she (Suu) wanted to do, so she decided to do something she (Shinobu) wanted to do for a change. That way they could be better friends. - Shinobu is touched, and finally acceptts the fact that they are, after all, just little kids. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 14 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - There is a shortage of money. If they don't EACH raise 10000 yen, their water, phone, electricity, etc. will be disconnected. - Keitaro finds a job at Akamatsu (authoor of Love Hina) studios, and raises the money, but gets dead-tired because of it. - He bumps face first into an extremely plump pair of breasts. Their owner is a witch of some sort, who explains he is in a state of bad luck, the solution of which lies in a pond far away. - She charges him a fee of 10000 yen. Hee pays, then goes searching for the pond. The witch was actually Kitsune. - Keitaro dives for the pond, and the drriver of the van who fetched him his Toudai ticket was there. Kitsune was close by and identifies him as Seta. - Seta takes care of Keitaro in his van,, where our main man meets the man's child, who mauls him like crazy. - Seta returns, and is surprised at how well they get along. He introduces himself as Seta Noriyasu, a professor of Toudai, and his daughter Sarah McDougal. - He hires Keitaro as his assistant. Jusst then Naru arrives. - Kitsune thinks it's best for her not tto see Seta at this time, and gets Naru into some lesbo action. They still have their clothes on though. - Kitsune and Naru find a job as a waitrress, and without Kitsune noticing Naru gets to deliver to the archaeology dept, where Seta is. Kitsune rushes to the scene. - She pushes Naru towards Keitaro and teells him not to let go. Motoko arrives and sees Keitaro embracing Naru. He gets thrown out of the building. - Kitsune sees Seta and takes Naru away.. However Seta has already remembered who she (Kitsune) was. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 15 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Seta is digging when suddenly the grouund gives way. He falls into an abyss..... - Meanwhile, Keitaro is tasked to look aafter Sarah, and takes her to Hinata Inn. - Sarah reveals to Naru that Keitaro likkes her, and Naru confronts him about it, mentioning the fact that Mutsumi also told her he liked her (Naru). Keitaro is unable to answer. - Everyone else sees Sarah and finds herr cute. Kitsune, however, sees the potential trouble that little girl can bring. - Sarah breaks free and make a run for iit. Everyone gives chase and finally gets her cornered in a sealed door. - But the door suddenly opens.....it's SSeta! It seems the abyss he fell into had this door as an exit. The destined encounter commences. - Keitaro, Naru, Seta, and Sarah have teea together. Naru is acting weird, but gets into a conversation with Seta. Keitaro leaves. - A little later Seta also leaves to keeep on digging, and Naru notices Keitaro's disappearance. She finds him at the roof. - She says she only admires Seta and doees not like him. Keitaro admits he likes her (though very softly) then quickly shouts out loud that he'll support her and Seta all the way. They head for the excavation. - Kitsune also takes the gang into the eexcavation, and discover various things that they own scattered along the way. - A big boulder suddenly rolls along, annd takes Keitaro with it. Naru is separated from him. - Keitaro meets the gang, Motoko crushess the boulder. Seta is also there. - Seta explains he's digging for artifaccts of an ancient turtle civilization. - Naru (and everyone else in another parrt of the cave) discover the "turtle civilization", which was actually just another one of Suu's inventions. They run for their lives and meet up at a dead end. - Motoko takes care of the situation, buut also causes a cave in. They are all trapped. - Keitaro feels he has to finally confesss, but the words that come out of his mouth are, "Naru likes Seta." - Seta says he likes Naru too.....but thhen he also likes Keitaro, and Sara and Kitsune, and everyone at Hinata Inn. (what an escape line) - Then Haruka opens up the roof and savees all of them. She says she was using that hole to dump the trash. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 16 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Keitaro is feeling awkard and avoidingg Naru all the time. - Haruka calls for the entire gang to woork at a tea house by the beach, to pay for the expenses of Hinata Inn. - They organize a play for kids, where NNaru gets to be the legendary monkey Goku, and she just hates her role, but the kids love her! - Keitaro is supposed to be the lead chaaracter, who'll try to save the damsel in distress, Kitsune. - Shirai and Haitani are the bad guys, bbut suffer the first part of the play as horses. They beat Keitaro up. - Naru makes her "multiplication" move, and a bunch of Naru dolls rain on the whole stage, but there's too much, and the show is ruined. - Seta arrives and shows his new excavattion: an ancient theatre. He suggests organizing another play there, with him as the main goon. - Naru is now the damsel in distress andd Keitaro is Goku. The kids just hate him. - Keitaro comes to save Naru, and Seta cchallenges him to a duel, but Motoko recognizes an experienced fighter in Seta, and challenges him instead, Keitaro is caught in between, this is no longer in the script. - Seta and Motoko even take it to the aiir! (great fight scene considering the fact that this is supposed to be a comedy/love story) - Seta defeats Motoko, and continues to taunt Keitaro. - Kitsune ties Naru onto a chain and hanngs her to be the prize of the winner. - Keitaro accepts, and as he rushes towaards Seta, his weapon gets stuck to Naru's bra and rip it off. - Her unbelievable anger and strength brreaks through the chains and KOs both men. - How will they end the play now? A kid yells to Naru, "Kiss him (Keitaro)!" Then the rest of the audience agree. - Naru is just about to do just that, buut suddenly a hot spring blasts its way from the ground. A new business for Haruka. - In the end Keitaro feels comfortable aaround Naru again. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 17 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - A friend of Motoko's tell her that herr sword skills might have dulled since she now interacts with two men: Seta and especially Keitaro. - Motoko is ordered to guard the island near the beach house for an evil spirit. - Shirai and Haitani plan to give Naru aa scare and Keitaro a chance to show his manliness. - Kitsune tries to hug Naru in the hot ssprings, but Keitaro arrives and sees. Dirty thoughts and Naru's Super Punch enter his brain. - Motoko is on the job, but it turns outt Keitaro invited everyone on the same island. - Naru and the others discover Shirai's scare props, and get really mad at them, especially Keitaro. - Keitaro notices Naru become highly agggresive, but it turns out she was possessed by the evil spirit. - Motoko can do nothing since she hasn'tt perfected their secret technique yet, which was to vanquish evil spirits without injuring the host. - Suu suggest Motoko try to learn the teechnique, and Keitaro agrees to be her training dummy. - And as training dummies go, Keitaro iss pummeled again and again into oblivion. Of course he doesn't die, since he is, after all, immortal. - Keitaro meets the possessed Naru once again. This time she takes her bra off. He rushes to grab her breasts to stop the bra from falling. - The evil spirit then leaves Naru and oof course she is her Super Punching self again. Keitaro gets it. - It possesses one of Motoko's schoolmattes, but she is finally able to execute the technique correctly. Everyone is saved. - Back home, Naru becomes all sweet withh Keitaro, who's enjoying it but is not making any move. Shirai and Haitani, peeping on them, get pissed at Keitaro's slow pace. - Haitani hurls a beer can that hits Keiitaro's head. He faints and pulls Naru's clothes down in the process. It's a Super Kick this time. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 18 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - It gets obvious that Naru and Keitaro are in a bad mood again. - Kitsune admits she really likes Keitarro, and go for a kiss. Naru is unable to react. - But, she lied. Just to see what Naru rreally felt about Keitaro. - Seta plans to leave Sarah in Haruka annd Keitaro's hands in a few days. - It's the summer festival, and everyonee is in a kimono. - Seta and Haruka shoot with 100% accuraacy. It's a mystery where they got those skills. Motoko, however, uses chopsticks to hit the targets. - Naru flirts with Seta while Keitaro fllirts with Shinobu. Kentaro sees Suu and Sarah travel via life boat to a deserted island, and uses this info to be able to flirt with Kitsune. - Sarah had planned to cause trouble andd get kicked out of Hinata by leaving Suu on the island, but Tama-chan chews a hole out of their life boat, leaving both of them with nothing. - Kitsune partially reveals she was alsoo in love with Seta once, but gave way to Naru instead. - She then finds out from Kentaro the coondition of Suu and Sarah. She tries to rescue them via jetski, but become a victim of Suu's watermines. Now three of them are stuck. - Seta and Shinobu both leave their parttners, in order that they (Keitaro and Naru) get together again. - Naru and Keitaro finally get along welll under the fireworks. They are about to kiss, but Kentaro knocks them both unconscious. - Kitsune says she doesn't mind being Saara's mom, and they get along well themselves. Everyone does their part in singing "Sakura Saku" (Love Hina's opening song) * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 19 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - A tanned Keitaro enters Hinata Inn. Suuu gets into get adult form without the red moon. - Haruka says she saw Amalla back in towwn. Naru tries to fetch her to solve the problem, but finds out Amalla is with Mutsumi, who's also in town to retake the test. - Back at Hinata Inn, everyone notice hoow cool and calculating Keitaro has become, but it turns out he NOT Keitaro at all! He's Ranba Ruu, cousin of Kaolla and Amalla. - The real Keitaro was captured and almoost kissed by adult Suu, but get caught and Super Punched by Naru. - Amalla then shows Suu her big brother,, the prince, is finally here. Suu goes back to her young form. - Ranba explains they all thought they wwere siblings, only recently was it revealed that they were actually only cousins. He also says in order to be king he has to find himself a wife, Suu to be exact. - They have a wedding ceremony, but Suu tries to challenge Ranba to a match. She loses, but escapes. Kitsune thought if they all become Ranba's brides, Suu will come back for him. - Meanwhile Mutsumi and Keitaro have chaat, and she holds Keitaro's hands and bury it deep between her large breasts. Keitaro almost caught bliss, if not for noticing Naru staring right at him. - He is saved this time though, cause Raanba called for him. Ranba explains in their homeland there's no fixed time to become an adult. Eveyone must choose to at his/her own will. - The wedding ceremony is repeated, and Suu barges in and says she'll marry Keitaro if everyone else marries her brother. - Back at her room, Suu explains she reaally can't marry Ranba since she only thinks of him as her brother, not as a husband. But it turns out Keitaro and Ranba made a switch, and now Ranba understands Suu's feelings. - The rest of the gang barge in, and Suuu explains it's Amalla who's really in love with Ranba, and Amalla blushes. - Ranba is taken back to his homeland, bbut it turns out he made a switch with Keitaro again. Naru and Suu finds out, and give him a taste of their tag team combo. Nice..... * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 20 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - It is revealed that Mutsumi is actuallly VERY smart in terms of academics, the only reason she's retaking the test for the 3rd time is because she always forgets to write her name or faints during the exam. - Suu and Sarah pop out of one of the drrawers and explain they've been searching for secret passages all around Hinata Inn, they invite the retaking trio with them. - They stumble down a steep slide, and KKeitaro gets his face buried between Mutsumi's legs. He thinks the lights went out, and repeatedly rub his face against her. Naru to the rescue.....Super Uppercut! - Surprisingly, Mutsumi instinctively knnows where the exit is. - Upstairs, Keitaro is taking care of Mooe, a doll possessed by a spirit. Kitsune explains the doll mistook him for his great grandpa, Keisuke. - The doll also says it was promised to her that her legs would be fixed. - The gang decides to make Suu get at itt and satisfy the spirit. - After it gets fixed, it invites Keitarro, Naru, and Mutsumi to play. It reveals that it was promised to be Keitaro's bride, but now it knows Keitaro no longer needs it as a bride. - The spirit leaves the doll for good. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 21 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Keitaro takes Naru out on a date. Kenttaro tries to steal her from him but gets all tied up with a little red haired girl. - Shinobu, Suu and Motoko see them, but Naru denies and gives Keitaro a Circular Throw.....and it's a new world record! - After the date, Keitaro says he's got something to say, and Naru dreams the very same one Keitaro did at the first episode, with them getting married at Toudai in the end. - But Keitaro suddenly drags Naru into aan alley with lotsa hotels, and Naru's helplessness kicks in. - Actually he just wants to have her minni picture taken with him. She ridicules him, but he says it's important...because...(romance kicks in)..... - The camera zooms in on their hands...ggetting closer.....and closer..... then suddenly a pair of breasts get in the way.....it's Mutsumi's!! - She explains she forgot where she was staying and fainted in front of them. She also takes them to a bowling alley, where her extreme luck and Naru's extreme passion for bowling is revealed. - Mutsumi invites them in the inn she waas staying at, where her secret weapon for studying is revealed. But really it's just a heater table. - She also reveals that she's trying forr Toudai because of a promise she made when she was a little girl. Naru seems familiar with that story. - Keitaro wakes up with his face burriedd in Mutsumi's breasts, and Naru's bloodshot eyes staring at him. Heaven turns to hell. - The next day Mutsumi asks Keitaro out on a date. He agrees. Naru tries to spy on them. The red haired girl spies on Naru. Kistune spies on them all, but specifically on the dating couple. - Mutsumi and Keitaro take a boat ride aat the lake. Naru gets furious that she didn't get to experience a boat ride yesterday, and gives chase. - Both their boats crash into Kitsune's,, and end up all wet. - At the hot springs, the red haired girrl, introduced as Mei, refered to Naru as her big sister, and has come to take her hom. * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 22 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Mei makes it quite tense at Hinata Innn, and gets almost hit by Naru. - It is revealed that someone gave Naru a Liddo-kun stuffed toy when she was little, that she was at Hinata Inn when she was little, and that Keitaro and Mutsumi have the exact same reason to enter Toudai. - Mei locks Naru up in her room and bothh Keitaro and Mutsumi in his room with a heater in it. Mutsumi starts undressing because of the heat. - But Naru breaks through the hole (whicch Mei tried to barricade) and smashes Keitaro out of the room. Kitsune notices Mei's shrewdness and decides to join in. - It's the preparations for the potato ffestival. Mei and Kitsune outfit Naru in her nerdy attire, and Mutsumi in an elegant dress that gives her large breasts great emphasis. Keitaro notices of course. - Suu put the Liddo-kun in the pot for ccooking, but Mutsumi retreives it, saying that she remembers giving hers to a little kid long ago. Haruka also reveals she remembers Mutsumi visiting Hinata Inn about 15 yrs ago. - Naru is nervous, and runs off. Keitaroo catches up and says his current reason for trying for Toudai is actually her. - Mei shows Naru a pic revealing Keitaroo and Mutsumi playing together at Hinata Inn, with a Liddo-kun nearby. - Mei threatens to tell everyone about iit and take Naru home, but Naru says she found out from a phone call that Mei actually ran away and must be using her to be able to study abroad. - Mei reveals to Keitaro that she reallyy only liked to have a big sister, but now Naru hates her. Keitaro explains that is not so..... - Meanwhile, Naru finds Mutsumi's name wwritten at the bottom of her Liddo-kun. And that, as they say, should be the clincher..... * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 23 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Naru is depressed, and then decides too reveal the truth to Mutsumi and Keitaro once and for all. She takes Mutsumi to the hot springs and tell her. - It turns out the rest of the gang weree listening from underwater, and worse they all misunderstood her, thinking what she was trying to say was that it was Keitaro and herself who were destined. - Keitaro fails another mock exam, and ddecide to escape from Hinata Inn, but Seta crashes into him. He even has Hina herself as a passenger! - Hina gives Hinata Inn a major renovatiion, and requests everyone to leave within a couple of days. - Keitaro just failed his mock exam, andd Naru has family problems. They both don't want to go home at this time. - Mutsumi offers her room at another innn, and they both agree, but Keitaro knows how Mei feels and insists on Naru going with her. - Naru however misinterprets this for juust a plan to be alone with Mutsumi. She agrees but not before giving him a Super Whammy. - But then she decides to give Keitaro oone last visit at Mutsumi's room. She enters and sees them both naked and Mutsumi on top. - She is shocked, and definitely heart-bbroken. She drops the conclusive photo and leaves. Keitaro gives chase. - He catches up and finally tells her hee likes her. She gives him a sorrowful kiss, and leaves..... - Mutsumi has seen the photo and shows iit him..... * * * * * * * * * * * * * E P I S O D E 24 * * * * * * * * * * * * * - It is revealed that what happened at MMutsumi's room was just an accident. - Keitaro now knows Mutsumi is THE girl,, but is torn between her and Naru. - Naru finds out she actually also was aat Hinata Inn 15 yrs ago, and that one of the very first words she spoke was, "Toudai". - It seems neither Naru nor Keitaro plann to return to Hinata Inn, and so the rest of the girls devise something.....Kitsune goes for Naru's house while Seta goes for Mutsumi's (where Keitaro is) - Both of them give the troubled couple a little speech. Mei also insists that because of Toudai being one of Naru's first words, she could have been the girl of Keitaro's promises. - Keitaro is missing, and yet again onlyy Naru is able to find him, at the playground. They get all romantic, and finally go back at Hinata Inn. - Hina has already gone overseas, leavinng Keitaro to assume the position of manager once again. - That night Mutsumi is sleeping at Naruu's room, and explains she couldn't have been THE girl since she only overheard Keitaro make that promise to another girl at the playground. - But when asked who the girl of Keitaroo's memories is, Mutsumi only answers there are a lot them, including Naru and herself. - And so ends the series, with a little cut scene at the end featuring Mutsumi sleep walking and falling through the hole into Keitaro's room, and Naru seeing the two together the next day, not to mention a little chase afterwards and finally a SuperMegaHyper Punch. * * * * * * * * * * * * extra episode! (note that in this episode * E P I S O D E 25 * ---> Motoko looks much more like in the manga, * * * * * * * * * * * * meaning she's waaaaaay cuter than before. - Naru and Keitaro get into a bad mood, and she leaves for home (Kyoto) with Mei for a few days so they could go to the cemetery with the family. - Tama-chan distracts Kentaro from driviing his car, and almost crashes into Keitaro, but a mysterious woman slashes through the car from behind Keitaro without hurting him. - Keitaro thought it was Motoko, but turrns out to be her sister. - Motoko comes home from school to find her sis already there. She is about to be dragged to Kyoto to receive the Shinmeiryu dojo..... - Then suddenly she exclaims she's aboutt to get married to Keitaro! (This is to prevent her from being forced to go home) - Motoko's sis then asks them to kiss, aand they almost do, but Motoko gives Keitaro a Super Spiral Punch instead. - Suu and Kitsune cover Motoko's sister''s eyes at the right moment, and fool her into thinking the kiss actually took place. - The "couple" is now made to take a batth together. Keitaro sees Motoko naked, but is kicked to the head. Motoko reminds him it's only for show. - Motoko's sis overhears, and becomes seerious. A fight ensues, and Motoko loses to a simple decoy techinque. - The next day Motoko is dressed as a maaid, and gives everyone quite a problem coping with her way of life. - They talk about her at the roof, and sshe overhears, and is deeply hurt. She runs away and Keitaro gives chase. - Motoko trips and Keitaro rushes to savve her, but end up exposing her cute little butt. Super Punch again. - That night it's raining hard, and Motooko is soaking wet. Keitaro finds her and takes her home. - Back at Hinata Inn, Motoko and Keitaroo get really, really romantic, but Keitaro surprisingly had a great amount of self-control at that time, and convince Motoko get back into the way of the sword. - He offers her the Urashima family sworrd, that somehow has an evil dark glow. Motoko warns him never to use it. - The next day at Kyoto, Motoko's sisterr agrees to give them three days to defeat her by any means, but if they fail they have to get married. Naru finds out about this in gets jealous. - The final showdown. They're losing, buut then Naru gets a hold of the Urashima family sword. She gets possessed and gives Motoko's sis a long hard kiss. - Motoko's sister's life forced gets succked dry. It's up to Motoko now, she has to use their secret technique of striking evil without harming its host victim. - Motoko hurls Keitaro into Naru for theem to kiss, then strikes hard. She is successful, with her sister (who just woke up) as a witness. - Everything's settled now, and Motoko iis allowed to not worry about the Shinmeiryu dojo for now, and try for Toudai for the time being. They all go for a hot spring bath. - Tama-chan enters with the evil sword iin its mouth, and Keitaro comes chasing after it. Of course he gets something from Naru, but thus time it's a Super Leaping Kick. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * W I N T E R S P E C I A L * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * - December 21. Suu explains there is a rrumor that if you confess your love on Christmas Eve, any wish (like ending up be the person you love) would come true. - Keitaro, Naru and Mutsumi are studyingg for another mock exam. Mutsumi asks for an eraser, but Keitaro accidentally buries it deep within her breast. Surprisingly nothing disastrous happens. - Naru discovers Keitaro has the extra ttime for a part time job, and gets pissed off. - December 22. Suu and Sarah search for gifts, and find one in Naru's room with a letter attached to it. The phrase "I always liked" is in it. - Now the gang knows Naru's going to connfess on Christmas Eve. However Shinobu couldn't keep it a secret. Keitaro is overwhelmed with joy he falls off the roof and sprains his ankle. - Naru checks in on him, but before she leaves he yells, "I love you" Naru is unable to respond and runs off instead. - December 23. Naru leaves for home. Shee brought THE gift with her. Keitaro uses his earnings to buy a red coat. Who can't predict it's for Naru? - December 24, Christmas Eve, AND the daay of the exams. Shortly after Naru leaves in a hurry. The Hinata Inn female spies follow. Keitaro's also there, hiding..... - It turns out Naru was meeting and giviing THE gift to Seta. Keitaro and the gang are shocked at the sudden turn of events. He drops the gift and leaves. Naru tries to follow..... - She catches up, only to find him and SShinobu in a tight hug. She leaves and is then confronted by Mutsumi, who says if no one confesses then she (Mustumi) will instead. - Motoko picks Keitaro's gift up and forrces Naru to accept it. Naru now knows why Keitaro was working part-time. She is deeply touched. - Some pervert tries to really acquaint himself with Motoko's cute little butt, and consequentially gets chopped in the face. - Kitsune catches up with Keitaro and Shhinobu and give them Naru's letter to Keitaro. It turns out Suu and Sarah read wrong, and the statement was, "I used to like you". Keitaro leaves to go look for Naru. - Kitsune and Shinobu decide to go home,, but they lost all their money! - Keitaro calls Haruka and finds out Narru left a message to meet her at Omote Sando, quite the place for romantic couples. - But Naru misplaced the red coat, and ccame back for it. Keitaro is notified that she'll be late and will meet him at Shibuya train station instead. - Kitsune and Shinobu meet Ken Akamatsu (author of Love Hina) who offers to pay them in exchange of selling his magazines for him. - Naru misses the train where she left hher coat, but luckily spots Kentaro and his car and beg him to chase the train. - Meanwhile Keitaro faints, and is takenn by Mutsumi to a romantic hotel. She then reveals she is not the girl of his promises, and that the one she promised to enter Toudai with was a girl. - 30 mins before midnight. Naru now has the coat in her possession and Keitaro is on his way too. But Kentaro warns it'll be impossible to find someone at Shibuya at that time. - 5 mins before midnight. Naru and Keitaaro still can't find each other. Keitaro is already fatigued and unable to walk. - Suddenly something I could never prediict in a lifetime happens: Naru's face appears on every big screen on the skyscrapers of Shibuya. - A nosy reporter tries to broadcast herr loneliness, but she uses this as an opportunity to make a very romantic speech, ending with her much- awaited confession: "I would always want to be with you. I want to go to Toudai with you" - Keitaro gathers his strength and get tto where Naru is, just in time to see her try the red coat on. The music swells..... - The next day at the hot springs Naru sstill denies having to do anything with Keitaro, and says she just said she wanted to get to Toudai with him. As always Keitaro sees her in a towel, and gets Super Punched to the big blue up there. - The winter special ends with yet anothher cut scene featuring the chaos at New Year's Day when everyone attends a festival, Kitsune gets drunk and tries to hit on Keitaro, and everyone else misinterprets. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * S P R I N G S P E C I A L * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * - Shinobu is speechless when a classmatee of hers confessed his love. She is troubled on what to do. What about Keitaro? - The day before the exams. Naru falls iinto Keitaro's room, he rushes to save her and gets to feel her out. Nothing bad happens to him though. - Romance kicks in, and Keitaro goes forr the kiss, but their glasses come in contact, and he loses concentration. Shinobu enters and thinks they actually did it. The whole gang also finds out. - Keitaro takes the fateful exam, and nootices how easily he would be able to answer all the questions. He is overjoyed, and daydreams marrying Naru and fighting Seta for his blessing. - He wakes up, with only 5 minutes left,, and he hasn't even answered a single question yet. - After the exams, Naru and Mutsumi visiit Keitaro's exam room, and find a note telling them not to look for him. - Keitaro decides to go overseas, but onn the ship he's aboard is Seta, who offers him a job as an assistant. - Keitaro decides to throw his exam tickket and other momentoes away, but they all fly back in his face because of the wind. He then notices everyone's good luck message written at the back of his exam ticket. - He touched, but then the wind blows inn the opposite direction and make him lose his items. He rushes to save them all, but of course goes overboard with them. - He is washed ashore, and wakes up on aan island with a young girl who introduces herself as Nyamo. - Back at Hinata Inn, Shirai and Haitanii are tied up and forced to reveal Keitaro's location, even though they don't really have that information. - Seta calls, and Haruka takes the phonee via whip. He tells her and Naru that Keitaro is in Pararakelse, an island in the middle of the Pacific. - Naru goes after him while the gang goees to the exam center and find out all three retakers passed. - Naru uses Kentaro's flying vehicle to travel, while everyone else go searching for the couple. The youngsters, Shinobu, Suu, Sarah, and Mei go in one group, traveling via Suu's Mecha Tama-chan. - Kitsune, Mutsumi, and Motoko are in thhe other group, but they have no money. It's scheming time for Kitsune.....they hi-jack Ken Akamatsu's ship. (Ken is the author of Love Hina) - Naru arrives at the island, and gets ffurious at seeing Keitaro with another girl. She tries to attack but he is swiftly dragged away. - Seta informs Naru that the girl's namee is Nyamo, and that she was the granddaughter of an archaeologist who went missing after searchin for an ancient turtle civilization on the island. Seta also tells her that Nyamo is there to help him out. - Naru runs off to follow Keitaro, who'ss headed with Nyamo to the jungle across the desert. She chases him til they both tire out in the middle of the desert. - They then discover the elusive jungle and take a bath at a water fall. Keitaro notices how torn Naru's clothes are, and get Super Punched. - Naru now outfits herself and Nyamo witth leaves. They look mighty sexy. - That evening, Nyamo falls asleep, leavving Naru and Keitaro alone together. They get all romantic and attempt to kiss, but Nyamo talks in her sleep and they lose their concentration yet again. - We then get to see a song number by evveryone, which I find really corny. (also for some reason Naru's breasts jiggle like crazy in this part) - Kitsune's group meet up with Kentaro aand his vehicle, and catch up with Shinobu's group at THE jungle. - Keitaro's group however already found the turtle civilization, where a giant mechanical turtle attacks them. - The rest of the Hinata Inn girls arrivve, and they all attack the giant, fail. Nyamo jumps on its head and sings! (so corny!) The turtle calms down and reveals itself to be just a heap of normal turtles working together. - Everyone decides to go with Nyamo in hher search, but she escapes in a boat, telling them not to follow her anymore. - Naru and Keitaro are then told that thhey passed. He trips and buries his hand on her breast and gets Super Punched. The shock of passing makes him numb from the Super Punch. They are both overjoyed..... - Suddenly Mutsumi reminds them that if they don't register by tomorrow, their admission would be cancelled. They all make a run back for Akamatsu's ship - On the way, Shinobu remembers finally turning down her suitor, and saying that she'll continue supporting Keitaro even though he loves someone else. But anyways,... * * * * * * * * * * * * V O L U M E 01 * * * * * * * * * * * * CHAPTER 001 - When Keitaro Urashima was 4 yrs old, aa certain girl (whose name he can no longer remember) made him promise to meet her at Tokyo University, because of a saying that if two people who are in love with one another entered Tokyo U together, they will live happily ever after. - 15 yrs later, Keitaro has a collectionn of mini prints of himself, has been desperately searching but still has no girlfriend, has failed the Tokyo U entrance exams twice in a row (ave 48), has been kicked out of his house, and has vowed never to return without first becoming a Tokyo U student. - Keitaro decides to stay at his grandmaa's house for awhile in order to study yet again for the next Tokyo U exam, but finds his grandma's house empty. - He discovers an open area hot spring, and decides to take a bath. - Someone else enters.....a girl.....nakked. - She lets him touch her breasts, while she accidentally gets a hold of something that seems to get bigger and bigger (aw, you know what!) - She puts on her eye glasses and finds out she's been taking to a total stranger, and a male at that. But as he leaves, Haruka taught he was already Tokyo U student and mentions it. - Everyone hears and jumps to conclusionns (like him having an ave of more than 69) - Mitsune, upon realizing how rich he maay be, convinced everyone to let him stay. - Keitaro now has his own room, and Mitssune wastes no time invading his privacy. She introduces herself as Mitsune Konno, and the first girl being Naru Narusegawa. - She lets him touch her breasts, but thhey get caught, and now she tells the girls that he grabbed her on purpose, and they all believe her. - Keitaro enters a comfort room and findds Naru seated on the toilet, panties down. Keitaro now tries to lift her spirits, but in the process gets buried deeper in the big lie. - In his room, Keitaro tells himself he isn't really a Toudai student, and Naru overhears. - He tries himself on the Toudai Study GGuide, but fails miserably. - Naru arrives and serves him some rice rolls, then tells him about a great lobster dish in the Toudai Cafeteria to which he agrees. - But it turns out there is no such dishh, and now Keitaro knows that Naru knows the truth. He's in biiiig trouble now..... - Surprisingly however, she is still happpy with him since he lifted Shinobu's feelings. Naru tells him to do his best, and make it to Toudai. - This is the first time Keitaro noticess how cute Naru is, and Naru says the same of him, but takes it back the moment she saw his real answers to the Toudai Study Guide. - They both struggle for the Toudai Studdy Guide, and end up on the floor with Naru on top. Romance and Naru's helplessness kicks in, and this becomes their first attempted kiss, but then everyone else storms in. - Naru says it's Keitaro's fault, but hee points to her instead, accidentally burying his finger deep within the center of her breast. - Keitaro is Punched into oblivion, and the brown-skinned girl discovers his ID, revealing the truth to everyone else. - He is made to leave the dorm. - He passes by a mini print shop, and deecides to take yet another picture of himself. - Naru suddenly appears and gets herselff included in the photo. She also discovers Keitaro's private collection. - Haruka arrives and reveals that Keitarro's grandma passed on the entire property to him, in the condition that he become the dorm's manager. CHAPTER 002 - It's already November, and while Keitaaro is studying in his room, Mitsune suddenly asks him to come to the hot springs with her. - She then tells him it's his job as dorrm manager to clean just about everything in the dorm. This was her plan, to humiliate him until he finally decides to quit by himself. - After a day of hard labor, Keitaro deccides to rest for awhile. - Naru suddenly appears from behind and startles him, making him spill a bucket full of water on her. Then she notices her bra is now visible through her wet clothes. A power Punch is inevitable. - While resting in his room, Keitaro disscovers a hole in the ceiling. - He decides to fix it, but discovers Naaru on the upper floor, changing her clothes. - Naru screams upon noticing him. - Mitsune and the girl with the sword ennter his room, only to see him stuck at the ceiling, half-naked. - Keitaro gets hold of a map of the dormm, and finds out the brown-skinned girl's name is Kaolla Suu (but they call her Suu), the girl with the sword is Motoko Aoyama, and the youngest girl, Shinobu Maehara. - Naru storms in and orders him around. - He is given is own bathroom and while there, he discovers it just overlooks the hot springs. - He overhears the girls taking, and finnds out about their plan to get rid of him by hard labor. He also overhears Naru telling everyone about his private collection. - Suddenly he loses balance and falls toowards the hot springs, landing suspended on a nearby tree. - He witnesses everyone play with Naru'ss breasts. - Finally he falls to the ground, where he sees Shinobu, naked. It's clobberin time! - Resting in his room, he is again starttled by Naru from above, telling him how idiotic he can be. But he tells her that he knows of her plan to get rid of him. - She hands him some bandages and tells him to just go to sleep. - He notices the bandages are pink with polka dots. He storms into Naru's room only to, once again, see her changing and get a taste of a nasty whallop. CHAPTER 003 - The next day he wakes up late and findds out its the day for a prep exam at for the Toudai exams. - He crashes into a nerdy-looking girl, but she quickly runs off. - He is welcomed by his two friends, askking how he could've taken the school off for an entire week, and that the results of the prep exam are out. - Keitaro failed miserably, it seems theere is no chance for him in Toudai. - They notice the nerdy girl, and his faat friend tells them she ranked 1st among those who took the exams. He also suggests Keitaro date the girl, but he immediately declines, saying he doesn't like rotten bookworms. - The girl overhears, drags him towards the roof, and reveals herself. She was actually Naru in her school attire. She explains she is near- sighted and the thick glasses are a necessity. - They have lunch together, and his frieends are impressed, while he just feels great. But then Naru gives him the bill. - They both ride a train, and Naru fallss asleep with her head resting on Keitaro's shoulder. He again notices how cute she is. - The train ride gets bumpy, and they geet pushed against each other. - Naru ends up sitting on Keitaro, and sshe gets to feel "IT". Keitaro is clobbered once again. - As they head home, Naru asks him what his purpose is to get to Toudai, but he returns the question..... CHAPTER 004 - Naru says it's a secret. - Keitaro tries to study hard, but he juust doesn't get a thing and tries to ask Naru to teach him instead, but she yells in anger. - After bringing some chocolate, Keitaroo gets to enter. - He asks Naru to teach him the simplestt of questions, and now he's happy he could at least answer the simple ones. - Naru again asks why he wants to enter Toudai. - Keitaro then asks her if it's possiblee the girl of his past still remembers their promise, and Naru passionately agrees. - Mitsune suddenly arrives, so they bothh panic and Naru forced Keitaro to hide under the furnace table, where he becomes stuck between her gorgeous legs. - Mitsune decides to use the furnace tabble herself, so now it's getting warmer and warmer in what's left of the space for our main man to hide. - Finally Keitaro can longer withstand tthe heat and lack of air, and tries to push what he thought was the switch, but is actually a spot very near to Naru's most private part. - Naru tunrs completely red, and Mitsunee gets suspicious, but finally leaves after a few moments. - Naru lets Keitaro out then suddenly Miitsune comes back and sees them together. Everyone else hears Mitsune's side of the story. CHAPTER 005 - Shinobu bumps into Keitaro, but runs aaway in a hurry, leaving her panty behind. Now Keitaro doesn't know what to do with it. - It's November 15, and Shinobu keeps buumping into Keitaro, who's always trying to cheer her up, but fumbles time and again. She yells at him in great anger. - Keitaro finds out it's her birthday, aand gets everyone to throw a surprise party for her. - She no longer hates him because of thiis, but when he offers her a gift, he didn't notice that her panty was still in his hand. Suu appears from nowhere andd gives Keitaro a flying kick to the face. A chair gets thrown in Keitaro's face. - When they finally go to sleep, Suu sudddenly gives Keitaro a very..... .....VERY.....strong embrace that almost cracks his backbone. She refered to him as her brother. CHAPTER 008 - It's almost Christmas, and everyone iss preparing their Christmas Tree. - Keitaro's mom calls and asks him to coome home, but instead he promises to do so if he fails the Toudai practice test tomorrow. - While studying, he remembers to use thhe hole in the ceiling to get to Naru's room and return her notebook. Of course he sees her yet again changing clothes and gets Super Punched for the nth time. - They tell Keitaro to fix the hole, andd he does just that. - In Naru's room, Keitaro gets to read hher diary and discovers something vague about 15 yrs ago being the reason for her to enter Toudai. This makes her quite a suspect for the girl of his past, but there isn't enough evidence to prove that. - He gets caught and pushed back into thhe hole. - The next day he takes the test, but siince then and the following weeks Naru hasn't talked to him yet. - He finds out he failed once again and now does not have the face to go back to Hinata Sou. However all his things are still back there. CHAPTER 009 - Keitaro decides to get his things backk without anyone noticing. - He is caught, of course, but is still able to escape, altough not before dropping the exam results, which explains everything to everyone. - Shinobu wants to find him, but Naru dooesn't. - Haruka then appears and tells Naru howw she was just like Keitaro two years ago. - Naru also discovers Keitaro dropped soomething else, a peace-offering gift for her. She is touched and decides to follow. - She knows just where Keitaro is going,, and meets him at Toudai. - She asks him to close his eyes. He agrrees.....then WHAM!! Supa Punch!! T'was just her way of letting her anger out, and it felt good! - After a little speech and some snowballl fighting, Naru convinces Keitaro not to leave Hinata Sou anymore. CHAPTER 010 - 1998. New Year's Eve. Everyone is in aa kimono and ready to go to the festival, except Naru, who's just out there to say her prayers then go straight back to studying. - Everyone asks for a talisman of fortunne, and gets a good luck sign. Except Keitaro, who gets "ULTRA BAD LUCK". - He is worried, and Motoko suggests Keiitaro give her a boost as she ties the talisman to a tree to ward off all bad luck. - Keitaro is overwhelmed by Motoko's beaautiful legs, and panics, making her fall to the ground. She is furious and gives chase. - Keitaro now bumps into a drunk Kitsunee, who strips but with her back turned on him, allowing just enough time for everyone else to see them before he gets to see anything nice. We can only assume he has been totally mauled by the Hinata fighting threesome. - Back at Hinata Sou, Naru decides to weear a kimono herself then accompanies Keitaro to a tree where they could tie the talisman. CHAPTER 011 - January 11, the day before the qualifyying exams. They're both cramming, but both deny it. - Everyone throws a good luck party for them. - Naru decides to hold a quiz contest aggainst Keitaro, but everyone else turns it into a strip contest, where the loser strips. - The next day they both wake up late foor the exam. The bus has already left them, but there seems to be another one. - They jump for it, and realized it wasnn't a bus. Now they're both locked inside, headed for wherever the truck would go. It's a hopeless situation. - Keitaro again asks Naru why she is so determined to enter Toudai, and she says it's because of a promise she made. This makes her all the more closer to being the girl of his past. - Then it turns out the truck was deliveering something at the exam center! CHAPTER 012 - After the first day of the exams Keitaaro felt he did poorly, and promise to do better tomorrow. - The second day of the exams passes by,, and now Keitaro computes for his grades. Things aren't looking so fine..... - But he passed! Barely though. - He's so happy he starts laughing out lloud, and everyone else thinks he's gone mad for failing yet again. They decide not to listen whenever he tries to break the news. - Kitsune plans a party to raise his spiirits. And what better way than to spend it wearing bathing suits, in the hot springs. - She then pushes Naru towards Keitaro, in order to have his face buried between her breasts. - At first Keitaro panics, but then he rrealizes they're trying to raise his spirits, and takes advantage of the situation by intentionally giving Naru's breast a nice squeeze. - For the first time ever Naru is able tto control her temper, and gives Keitaro a Punch that, to his surprise, does not hurt at all. - But then he reveals his true score, annd consequently gets mauled by the entire gang. CHAPTER 013 - 20 days before the real exam, Keitaro gets sick, and everyone tries their own remedy, but none really works. - He dozes off into a weird dream, wheree everyone, including the girl of his past, is a little kid. - Then in that dream they all grew up, aand the girl of his past (but just in silhouettes) looked very much like Naru..... CHAPTER 014 - February 13, a day before the dreaded Valentine's Day, the day when Keitaro always has to bake his own chocolate cake since he won't be getting any from any girls. And he's become VERY good at it! - The next day Shinobu is also baking hiim a cake. - She tries to give it to him, but everyyone gets in the way, giving their own idea of a Valentine's Day chocolate. - She finally gets the chance, but runs for the roof after seeing the great big chocolate cake Keitaro made, thinking she can never match that. - Everyone is now at the roof, where Keiitaro is forced to say that the cake was made by himself for himself, just to console Shinobu. But of course everyone else laughs their hearts out. - Late that evening Naru decides to givee him chocolate too, just so she wouldn't be left out. CHAPTER 015 - February 24, the day before the actuall entrance exam. Keitaro is pleased to drink from Naru's soda can since he thinks it's an indirect kiss. - The next day, Keitaro is too nervous ttoo take the exam. He tries to calm down, but farts instead. He decides to just give it up and leave. - But Naru yells at him and tells him too keep his promise. He again sees her as the girl of his past and decides to continue the test. * * * * * * * * * * * * V O L U M E 03 * * * * * * * * * * * * CHAPTER 016 - They've gone through the first day, annd both feel they've done pretty well. - Kitsune and the gang throw another parrty, and as usual get drunk. - Naru gets a call from a certain Seta-ssan. - She invites Keitaro for a stroll, and end up in the playground where he remembers making the promise, and now gets closer and closer to conluding that Naru is the one for him. - The next day Keitaro finally confrontss Naru about the promise, but seeing as 15 yrs ago she would only be 2 yrs old, she couldn't have made that promise. - The promise she was refering to was thhe one they made just before taking the exam, not from 15 yrs ago. - She also says that she already made a promise to someone else. Keitaro is heart broken. CHAPTER 017 - 2 weeks after the exam, it's time for posting the results. Naru forces Keitaro to come look at the results with her. - Keitaro finds out he has failed again,, but now Naru doesn't want to talk to him. - It turns out Naru failed too. - They both try to get drunk at a bar, aand in the process hurl painful words at each other, then went separate ways. CHAPTER 018 - They both decide to go to Kyoto for awwhile, and by sheer coincidence ended up seated beside each other in the train. However they are so occupied with recent events that they didn't notice one another. - They both decide to call Hinata Sou, aand this leads the gang to believe that they are, in fact, together, and on a romantic getaway! - Because of the bumpy ride, they both llose their glasses, and are unable to identify each other. They get along quite well, thinking they are talking to complete strangers. - Again because of the bumpy ride, Naru falls on top of Keitaro. This is his biggest score yet, as his main weapon hits.....the jackpot! - As the train stops for Kyoto, they botth recover their glasses, and Keitaro gets another Super Punch. - He is left on the train, which takes hhim all the way to Osaka. - March 11, little did they know they STTILL ended up staying in the same inn, and with hot springs at that. CHAPTER 019 - Suu and Shinobu decide to leave and fiind Naru and Keitaro. - Naru and Keitaro go sight seeing, but keep on bumping into each other. - Suu only brought money from her home ccountry, so now Shinobu is forced to use her savings. - Then they board a train for Shizuoka ccause Suu thought it was the same as boarding a train for Kyoto. - Naru bids Keitaro goodbye, but ends upp seeing him again at the hot springs. - Keitaro then figures it out that they used the same travel guide (Kitsune's) and that's why they kept on bumping into each other. - Naru keeps talking and forgets about hher towel, giving Keitaro a chance to stare at her naked body for quite some time. - Keitaro reminds her to cover up, but oof course he still gets a massive Super Punch. - They remind each other of the incidentt at the bar, and apologize. - Suddenly a large group of people, mosttly male, enters the hot springs. Naru panics, and hides behind Keitaro. - Keitaro feels her breasts rub against his back. - They make a quick escape, but then Keiitaro accidentally pushes Naru further into the ground, where it's extremely hot. - Naru jumps up in pain, everyone sees tthem, so they just make a dash for the exit. - Time for bed, but because of that largge group that arrived at the inn, they had to share a single room for the night. CHAPTER 020 - Kitsune now decides to take Motoko andd follow Naru and Keitaro as well. - You'd really think they're finally doiing it, but really it's just a rather violent table tennis match, literally. - Before they go to sleep, Naru places aa divider and warns Keitaro not to cross the line. - Next morning she sees him all tied up,, and realizes he is a gentleman after all. - Aboard a train, Suu and Shinobu finallly get to see Naru and Keitaro, but the train doesn't stop, and so the couple remain alone together. CHAPTER 021 - Naru and Keitaro both take on a cruisee ship. - A usual chase ensues, and as Keitaro iis running he crashes into a girl and knocks her unconscious. - They check her for vital signs, but noothing. - They panic, call for help, while claimming their innocence on the murder. - But the girl wakes up, introduces hersself as Mutsumi Otohime, and explains that the incident is quite common for her, having poor health. - She gets an extremely close look at Keeitaro, and says he's cute. - She leaves, but not before crashing innto a few things here and there. Keitaro finds her cute too. - Keitaro tries to muster all his couragge and confess his feelings, but is kept distracted by Mutsumi walking around. - Mutsumi then crashes into him yet agaiin. - Keitaro notices a suicide note in her bag, and tells Naru they've got to stop her. - They see her allow herself to fall offf the ship. - Keitaro gets a hold and rips her skirtt apart, but saves her in the process. - It turns out she just fainted again, aand the suicide note was in preparation of her dying anytime because of her poor health. - Naru gives Mutsumi her skirt, and whille changing, finds out that Mutsumi actually also took the Toudai exams and failed. - Keitaro, outside, is was so shocked thhat he enters the dressing room too early, sees both girls' legs, and gets whacked once again. - And just when they thought they had ennough of her, she decides to join them in their trip. CHAPTER 022 - Mutsumi treats them to lunch, and reveeals she is 21 yrs old, re-taking the exam for the thrid time already. - Keitaro is overwhelmed at the coincideence, much more when Mutsumi says she got a 50 (and he got a 49) - Naru however, is simply frustrated to have to fumbling people by her side, doing identical mistakes. They both even lost their wallets! - Naru hides them under her skirt, in orrder to just pay for one person in an inn. - It turns out Mutsumi also keeps a photto sticker collection of nothing but herself, but it's because of her poor heealth. Naru feels uneasy at how the two make quite a couple. She takes a shower instead. - Mutsumi enters the bathroom with Naru and apologizes, saying she was too fuzzy with Keitaro even though he and Naru were lovers. - Naru denies, but Mutsumi says Keitaro himself told her he liked Naru. - Naru is stunned, and Mutsumi decides tto scrub her back as an apology. - Naru declines, but Mutsumi instists, aand in the struggle they end up stumbling over one another. - Keitaro rushes in to help, only to seee both girls naked and in a position that draws a lot of "dirty" conclusions. Keitaro of course gets another Iron Fist. - Meanwhile, Kitsune makes money by showwing off Motoko's skils to the gathered crowd. CHAPTER 023 - Keitaro, Naru, and Mutsumi are now flooating in the middle of the ocean on a life boat, since they had no more money left and Mutsumi lives on an island that requires a second boat ride. - Naru and Keitaro get into a fight, andd their boat sinks because of all the sudden movement. - Keitaro goes unconscious, and wakes upp on a deserted island where Naru and Mutsumi are now dressed in swimsuits (which are Mutsumi's). He also notices how really big Mutsumi's breasts are. - They invite Keitaro for a swim, but hee declines, and they throw him out anyway. - He can't swim, so Naru goes for the reescue. - But then he suddenly reaches out and ggets a hold of her swimsuit, which he pulls down in order for him to be able to stand up. - Naru blushes after almost seeing Keitaaro's main weapon through his soaked swimming trunks. But, as always, it's him on the receiving end of a mighty Super Punch. - Mutsumi faints again, and Naru gets soome water. - She wakes up and gives Keitaro his FIRRST KISS, but Naru is there watching. - Naru runs away furious, still denying the fact that she cares. Keitaro desperately follows, and stumbles on her. Romance kicks in. - [difficult to express in a third persoon (narrator's) point of view] ^_^ Naru to Keitaro: "Mutsumi told me that you told her that you liked me" - They were about to kiss, but a ship apppears from nowhere. It's Mutsumi's uncle, and the island turned out to be her backyard!! - A while later Naru and Keitaro bid Muttsumi goodbye. Mutsumi offers them a gift, and gives Naru a kiss(!), saying that she wanted to be a tool for them to share a kiss. - At the boat Keitaro opens the gift......it's a turtle! CHAPTER 024 - Suu and Shinobu get to Kyoto, and stayy at the same inn that Keitaro and Naru did. From the innkeeper they find out where the two headed, but they got no more money. - Motoko and Kitsune meet up with them, but they don't have money either! - Meanwhile Naru and Keitaro get all rommantic again, and are about to kiss. - Then Suu arrives with a flying kick too Keitaro's face. - It turns out they found his wallet, annd use up his life's savings to finally catch up with him and Naru. - Keitaro decides to go back and stay att Hinata Sou for awhile. * * * * * * * * * * * * V O L U M E 04 * * * * * * * * * * * * CHAPTER 025 - Everybody arrives at Hinata Sou, and KKeitaro gets his position as manager back, but it's March 21, Naru's graduation ceremony date. - At school, she reveals her promised onne and the one she loves is the guy named Seta, even refered to him as "sempai", meaning an older one. - Back at Hinata Sou Naru seems lonely, but everyone else is preparing for the Spring festival, to cheer her up as well. - Keitaro is carrying a bag of groceriess, and a few cans fall off, which were caught by a mysterious guy, who is suddenly nowhere to be found. - At the party, it seems they have succeeeded in cheering her up. CHAPTER 026 - Naru is bored, and decides to climb doown the hole in to Keitaro's room and ask if she could take a look at the flying turle Mustumi gave them. - Ironically, Keitaro is busy changing hhis clothes, and so Naru DOES get to see a flying turtle, if you know what I mean ^_^ Poor Keitaro still gets the Super Punch though. - Naru outfits the turle (named "Torikamme (Turtle Bird)" by Keitaro) with her watch, but it suddenly flys away, towards a drunk Kitsune's room. - When asked where it went, Kitsune readdily replies it's in Keitaro's pants, and takes a peek. She gets hit by Naru. - Keitaro's discovers Kitsune's collectiion of lingeries, and Kitsune asks if his "Torikame" is now coming out. She gets hit by Naru one more time. - The Torikame then heads for Motoko's rroom. It is then reveal how terribly frightened our seasoned warrior is with turtles. - They follow it into the closet, which leads to a tunnel, and in turn leads to Suu's room! There they find Torikame in a cooking pan! It flies off yet again. - Keitaro asks Naru why she is so upset on loosing her watch, and she implies it's because he gave it to her, but says she only likes the numbers, nothing else. - They follow it into the water, and swiim through, only to come out in the middle of the hot springs. - The Torikame is now officialy named, ""Tamago". CHAPTER 027 - Keitaro sees Motoko naked, and is challlenged to a duel. The loser would do anything the winner says. (and she plans a hell training for him) - Keitaro panics, but gets to execute a bare hand sword counter that defeats a shocked Motoko. - As a reward, he asks her to be more feeminine from now on. - They all agree, and fit Motoko into a mini skirt. - They then teach her how to speak, cookk, and shop like a girl, but she just can't do it. She is frustrated. - Keitaro consoles her by saying she's hher best at her normal self. - She agrees, and challenges Keitaro yett again. This time she wins. - But now she can accept the fact that KKeitaro is "unmanly" simply because she herself is "unwomanlike". CHAPTER 028 - Keitaro decides to find a job since evveryone used up his savings. - It was tough, but he finally got hiredd, in a bar. - But Kitsune's there, and he gets distrracted, and consequently fired. - Kitsune's promises to make up by recommmending him for a job as a tutor. - She also tells him a story of Naru's ppast, when she was in love with a mature man who was her tutor. Keitaro comes to think that this was the man she made a promise to. - It's raining hard, and Naru meets up wwith him to give him an umbrella. - But after confronting her with the sittuation and confirming her crush on that mysterious man, Keitaro runs away. - Back at Hinata, Keitaro is taking a baath at his own bathroom while Naru is at the Hot Springs below. They notice each other and get into a hurling war. - Keitaro is knocked off the second flooor and lands and Naru, who consequently gives him an Iron Fist. CHAPTER 029 - The next day Naru is cold towards him,, and he decides to look for a job again. - He is confronted by Kitsune, to whom hhe says he doesn't think of entering Toudai anymore. Naru overhears. - Suddenly a van comes out of nowhere annd crashes into a light post. - He gets hired by a man named Seta (thee driver of the van who doesn't seem affected at all by the crash save for seom bleeding in the forehead) with a little girl named Sarah (no wounds from the crash at all) - It turns out he was delivering boxes oof fragile items to Toudai. - Seta is late for work (teaching at Touudai) and leaves Keitaro without paying and with a brat like Sarah to take care of. This proves to be a much tougher work. - Seta comes back offers him a job as hiis personal assistant, and he agrees. - Back at Hinata Sou, Keitaro uses the hhot springs since Naru broke his bathroom. But Naru enters, not noticing the sign he put outside. Still, Keitaro gets punished. - He tells her he already got a job, butt then she suddenly leaves, mad at the fact that he has already given up on Toudai. CHAPTER 030 - Seta suddenly runs off, and leaves Keiitaro to take care of Sarah. - Keitaro brings Sarah to Hinata Sou, whhere Naru finds her too cute to be the brat she is. - Sarah slams some sort of big floater oon Keitaro's head, while he's in the hot springs to hide him, then quickly calls on Naru. - Keitaro once again gets to take a goodd look at Naru's everything. - But Naru sits on the floater, forcing Keitaro to almost drown. - Keitaro has no choice but to come up ffor air, and so he is discovered and punished accordingly. - However he manages to get a hold of Saarah's swimsuit and rip it apart as he lands, reveal a panda shaped birth mark on her butt. - Sarah is really embarassed, and now Keeitaro finally found something to black mail her with. CHAPTER 031 - Sarah told Seta that Keitaro lived in a place called Hinata Sou. Of course he is shocked to hear that. - Seta gives Hinata Sou a visit, and meeets Kitsune. - Kitsune and the gand try to prevent Naaru and Seta from meeting, since it would only complicate things between her and Keitaro. - But Naru, Seta, and Keitaro took a batth at the same time, and met at the hot springs. - Desperation move: Human Bomber!! Kitsuune and Motoko hurl Sarah and Suu towards the bathing three, and knock them all unconscious. CHAPTER 032 - Sarah trips Keitaro and make him fall face first into some random chick's breasts, who just happens to hit hard, of course. - They meet up with Seta, who reveals hee also took the Toudai exams three times before he finally got in. That's just what Keitaro needed to hear to try yet again for Toudai. - Naru unexpected bumps into Keitaro andd sees he's trying to get a flyer for the practice test. She becomes enthusiastic and fills his forms for him. She's also re-taking the test, but says it's no longer because of Seta. - Meanwhile Tama-chan (Tamago the Torikaame) is in possession of Seta's lighter..... - Naru confronts Keitaro about him likinng her, but he couldn't really answer, so she says she doesn't like him.....but neither does she hate him. - She runs off, but stumbles into his arrms, romance kicks in once again. - Suddenly Seta's van comes crashing in,, yet again without killing its driver. - Seta and Naru finally meet. CHAPTER 033 - Naru runs off screaming, thinking thatt Seta is still so handsome, then shifting her thought to Keitaro's feelings for her. The gang eventually stops her. - Naru, Keitaro, and Seta have tee togetther, but she is too uneasy to do things right. - Then she and Seta get into a conversattion, and Keitaro leaves. She tries to follow. - She explains that she no longer likes Seta and only admires him. - Keitaro finally says he likes her, butt quickly shifts to saying he'll help her get together with Seta. The rest of the gang overhear and agree. - Naru screams she has no intention of cconfessing, but Keitaro says she'll regret it dearly if she doesn't confess her true feelings. - It seems Naru has finally decide to teell Keitaro she actually likes him, but then Seta suddenly appears. - Keitaro yells to Seta that Naru likes him. - Seta says he likes Naru too..... - But he also likes Keitaro! [everyone ffaints] - Then he explains he likes everybody att Hinata Sou. - Kitsune is shocked by such an amazing escape line. * * * * * * * * * * * * V O L U M E 05 * * * * * * * * * * * * CHAPTER 034 - Keitaro just can't face Naru and is avvoiding her. - Haruka asks Keitaro to help with the HHinata beach restaurant which only opens every summer. The entire gang heads for the beach. - Keitaro enters the dressing room, and what else would he find? The Hinata girls trying to change! - He runs off, slams face first into Narru's breasts, and continues to run faster than ever before. This time Naru neither Punches or chases after him. She is quite concerned. - Kitsune says someone needs to sacrificce to give Keitaro a boost, and Shinobu volunteers. - Kitsune rushes to Keitaro and tells hiim Shinobu has drowned and needs mouth to mouth. - Keitaro is surprisingly good at CPR, bbut as he gets closer to Shinobu, she gets too nervous and kicks him in the nuts. Ouch. - Naru and Keitaro meet at the kitchen, where they are about to confront one another, but Shinobu arrives, and offers to cook instead. - Naru sees how sweet a couple Keitaro aand Shinobu would make, and compares them to Seta and herself. - Keitaro fumbles with the oil and spillls it on Naru, making a see-through cloth out of her shirt. Clobberin time once again. CHAPTER 035 - Keitaro's fumbiling friends arrive at the beach restaurant as customers, get bewitched by the Hinata babes, and sliced by Motoko. - Even Keitaro himself forgot their namees, so they promptly introduce themselves as Shirai (the fat one) and Haitani. - Only at this point did they realize Naaru, the nerd from prep school, is actually as gorgeous as beach girls come. - They also realize Keitaro's in love wiith her, and give him the encouragement he needs to win over Seta. - Keitaro offers Naru a drink, but she ggets drunk easily and flirts quite seductively with him, then fall asleep. - Haitani is frustrated at Keitaro doingg nothing to advance and hurl a beer can to his head. - Keitaro faints, lands on Naru, accidenntally pulls her swimsuit down, and wakes her up. Shirai and Haitani get to witness his immortality. - Naru runs away and bumps into Seta. CHAPTER 036 - They all dress in traditional kimono aand go for a local festival. - Haitani finds Motoko and Kitsune attraactive, but Shirai is just focused on Haruka. - Naru is still cold towards Keitaro. - Seta and Haruka prove to be 100% accurrate in their gun shots, and take home every prize in one stall. - Motoko also take out all the targets iin another stall, but with a bundle of chopsticks thrown simultaneously. - Shinobu asks Keitaro to get a certain stuffed toy for her, but it's a hard target. Keitaro however insists he be the one to make the shot, rather than have Seta or Haruka do it for him. - One of the other supposed targets, a tturtle in particular, suddenly comes to life and slams the bullet from mid-air, causing it to miss the designated target and hit a rather ugly stuffed toy instead. Shinobu is grateful nevertheless. - Naru tries to get Seta's attention andd invite him for a look around. - Keitaro then invites Shinobu for a loook around. - Both pairs end up in the haunted housee. Shinobu is just an easy scare, but Naru isn't scared at all, and gets ridiculed by Keitaro for being so manly. She even tries to act scared, but fails to fool anyone. - Suddenly an entire group of monsters sspring out of nowhere, and scare the hell out of the foursome, leaving Naru holding tightly to Keitaro and him touching her breast. Super Punch once again. - Seta confronts Naru and tells her to gget along with her friends now, while Shinobu tries to find Naru and make her reconcile with Keitaro. - The fireworks are starting, and Naru aand Keitaro confront at last. - Keitaro apologizes, and says it's all his fault, but the fireworks made it hard for Naru to hear, and instead mistook him for saying it's all HER fault. Supa Uppacut! CHAPTER 037 - The entire gang organize a play for kiids, where Naru gets to be the legendary monkey Goku, and she just hates her role, but the kids love her! - Keitaro is supposed to be the lead chaaracter, who'll try to save the damsel in distress, Kitsune. - Shirai and Haitani are the bad guys, bbut suffer the first part of the play as horses. They beat Keitaro up. - Naru makes her "multiplication" move, and a bunch of Naru dolls rain on the trio, making Keitaro faint, exposing Naru's panties in the process. - Seta is the main goon in the story, annd is supposed to take Keitaro away so he'll be saved by Naru, but she forces a switch of roles and is taken away. Keitaro is now playing as Goku. The kids hate him. - Keitaro comes to save Naru, and Seta cchallenges him to a duel, but Motoko recognizes an experienced fighter in Seta, and challenges him instead, Keitaro is caught in between, this is no longer in the script. - Seta defeats Motoko, and continues to taunt Keitaro. - Kitsune ties Naru onto a chain and hanngs her to be the prize of the winner. - Keitaro accepts, and as he rushes towaards Seta, his weapon gets stuck to Naru's bra and rip it off. - Her unbelievable anger and strength brreaks through the chains and KOs both men. The kids just loved it. CHAPTER 038 - Shirai and Haitani apologize to Naru aand tell her it's the beer can that cause Keitaro to fall on top of her the other night. - Of couse Naru concludes they were actuually peeping that night. - Seta decides to leave Sarah at Hinata Sou from now on. - Sarah decides to be naughty and get kiicked out. She lures Naru and Keitaro into an island with a shipwreck, but she makes her escape, Tama-chan chews a hole out of their life boat, leaving all three of them on the island. - Kitsune and the others arrive on a jettski, but decide not to save them. - The threesome decide to investigate thhe ship wreck, and another one of Sarah's weaknesses is revealed: she's quite easy to scare. - Naru and Sarah take a bath, and Keitarro is just above them. - Keitaro mentiones Sarah's weak points,, and she gets furious and hurls the floater on him, knocking him out. He falls on her head, and she's KOed too. - He wakes up, but she doesn't, and now he's alone with Naru again. - They both decide to apologize, but botth get in the way of the other. - Then romance kicks in, and they make aanother attempted kiss. - But then Sarah is dreaming and pulls KKeitaro's shorts down. - Now they're settled, and Sarah deliverrs some sort of scorpion kick to the back of Keitaro's head, pushing him towards Naru. Altough accidental, this is their FIRST KISS. - The tide subsides, and a sand bridge iis revealed between the island and the beach. They head for home. CHAPTER 039 - August 29, Shinobu just wishes she couuld kiss Keitaro. - Suu finds out about this, and invents a Kiss Trainer. - Shinobu runs off, and Motoko becomes tthe victim instead. She is furious and destroys the robot. - Suu consoles her by giving her a looooooong kiss, that literaly leaves her gasping for air. It's both their first kiss, and Suu says it tastes like soy sauce. - Kitsune arrives and realizes the situaation, and so lends Shinobu her lipstick. - Shinobu confronts Naru and Keitaro, annd asks them if they've ever kissed. - Naru denies everything, and leaves a bbucket of water on Keitaro's head. - Keitaro and Shinobu are left alone, annd he notices her lipstick. - He tells her to close her eyes. She's ready..... - She feels his lips, then his tongue, tthen notices how small his mouth is..... - It's Tama-chan!! The real reason why KKeitaro asked her to close her eyes is because a spider was in her hair. CHAPTER 040 - Everyone comments on how cute and femiinine Motoko has become, but Keitaro adds her swordsmanship might have suffered because of it. - She is furious and slices Keitaro, butt Tama-chan, who is on top of his head, executes a bare-hand (or flipper) sword-counter, being the second being to pull that off on Motoko. - She decides to leave Hinata Sou, but KKeitaro, Suu, and Sarah follow. - She says she's just trying to train too avenge her defeats except those from her sister (seems she has no chance of defeating her) - Keitaro wakes up in the middle of a sttorm, hanging by a rope, about to be sliced by Motoko who's blaming him for everything. - Luckily a log falls on her head, and kknocks her unconscious. - Back at her hut, Suu says she's ill, rrips off her clothing, tells Keitaro to wipe her off, then immediately goes back to sleep. - Keitaro does just that, although frighhtened at the chance of Motoko waking up, and gets struck real hard since she does wake up. - The next day she decides to return to Hinata Sou, but only after mastering the art of targeting something behind and leaving the one in front intact. - Keitaro is tied to a rock, and Motoko tries to slice him, but ends up slicing the rock behind. She is successful, and returns to Hinata Sou. - Back there she meets Seta, whom she immmediately challenges to another match. Seta notices her great improvement. CHAPTER 041 - Keitaro notices a gorgeous girl on thee rooftop, but she vanishes as soon as he reaches there. - Haruka leaves the inn, telling Naru annd Keitaro that no one else is coming home tonight. - They feel awkward, then the lights go out, and go back on with Keitaro and Naru's mouth stuffed with a banana. Suu is there too. (you know I honestly think Naru thought it was something else in her mouth, hehe) - Suu reveals she's the girl on the roofftop. But Keitaro refuses to believe. - Suu is once again ultra sweet with Keiitaro, but explains it's because he's just like her older brother whom she left at their hometown. - Suu also reveals Tama-chan to be the mmain course, but the turtle breaks free and bites her. - She now orders her newest invention, tthe Mechanized Tamago, to give chase. - The turtle deflect the fireball laucheed by the robot, and lands on Keitaro instead. In all the chaos he is knocked unconscious. - He wakes up, walks for the rooftop, annd sees Suu there, all grown up. Suu explains it's just an illusion caused by the red moon at that night. - Suu tries to kiss him, but turns into her usual childish self just before it happens. - The next day Mechanized Tamago is upgrraded to ver 2.0 CHAPTER 042 - Kitsune is totally bored, and decides to peek on Naru and Keitaro while they're studying. She finds out that they were really studying and not doing anything worth her attention. - Naru decides to take a nap, and Keitarro can't help but stare. It's getting interesting, and Suu and Sarah join in the peeking. - Keitaro decides to give Naru a kiss, bbut she's awake, and pummels him to oblivion. She also pokes the peeker's eyes. - Kitsune devises a plan to finally get the couple going. - She knockes Naru unconscious at the hoot springs, and makes good use of Suu's stealth gear and voice conversion microphone to lure Keitaro into thinking Naru is consciously asking him to kiss her. - However Naru awakens just in time, andd packs a whallop. - She confronts Kitsune, saying there's nothing between her and Keitaro. - She then focuses on Kitsune's love liffe, and confronts her about liking Keitaro herself. - Kitsune admits it, and says she's happpy there's nothing between the two. She goes for a kiss. - Naru screams, "Nooooooo!" - And Kitsune says she lied, and now askks Naru why can't she (Kitsune) kiss Keitaro. - Naru can't answer. But still she deniees liking Keitaro at all. - Mission complete, Kitsune is satisfiedd. * * * * * * * * * * * * V O L U M E 06 * * * * * * * * * * * * CHAPTER 043 - Keitaro asks Naru out for dinner, but she declines. - Shirai and Haitani appear from nowheree, their names forgotten yet again by Keitaro. They sell him a special ticket to Neverland Amusement Park for 8000 yen, even if they only got it for free. - The results of the mock exams are up, and Keitaro now has an overwhelming 60% chance of getting into Toudai. - Everyone sees the tickets, and Keitaroo says he wants to go out with someone, but Naru says she's not interested, and runs off to study and now everyone is trying to force him to take one of them to the park. - He chases Naru, confronts her, but scrrews up and gets a face-first slam into the floor. Naru takes a bath at the hot springs. - She thinks to herself that Keitaro is becoming more and more like Seta. - Keitaro is now cornered by the gang, aand falls off into the spring, seeing Naru naked yet again. CHAPTER 044 - Keitaro get more freebies from Haitanii, and ask Naru out for a movie (last time wasn't considered a date since the entire gang was with them) - Kitsune finds out and warns Naru of thhe possibility of Keitaro forcing her to do "it". - She's late and worse Keitaro has come three hrs early. - Bystanders see them, and think Naru's beauty is just wasted on him. - They go for a cafe before the movie. - Naru decides to tease him a bit by offfering to feed him, but Suu and Motoko spot them, and they escape. - The movie turned out to be a martial aarts film. Naru is furious at first, but she likes it after all. She reveals Seta taught her some moves. - They go for an aquarium next, but findd out their Tama-chan is in captivity! - They reclaim him, and a bunch of kids see them, thinking they're such a cute couple. - Naru can't think clearly for awhile, aand slams her head into a hanging sign board, and falls into Keitaro's arms. Romance and another attempted kiss..... - But Seta and Sarah appear from nowheree in scuba gear, saying they're on a research exploration of some sort. Seta thinks they're a good match. - Naru now daydreams of getting married at Toudai. - Keitaro suddenly drags Naru into an allley with lotsa hotels, and Naru's helplessness kicks in. - But actually he just wants to have herr mini picture taken with him. (It's October 21, the same date they took a mini pic together last year) - Naru gives him a nice hard kick, telliing him it's nothing but it's his fault anyway. CHAPTER 045 - Naru invites Keitaro into her room to study, where he gets a hold of her photo album. They then realize Tama-chan wasn't flying when they saw him. - They all go searching, and Suu whips uup another gadget, a Turtle Locator, but then the signal vanishes. - The they discover Tama-chan to alreadyy be among them. He flies off, and lands on Mutsumi's shoulder. CHAPTER 046 - It turns out Tama-chan just sensed Muttsumi and rushed for her. - They have a drink at a bar, and as usuual Mutsumi just gulps all that beer down. - She discovers their second mini pic taaken, and asks Tama-chan what is going on. Tama-chan reveals their sweetness, and Mutsumi surprisingly understood the turtle language. - Naru and Keitaro decide to walk Mutsummi home, but all she has is a rough sketch of the entire country of Japan as a map and the memory that her house has a bird-like structure on its roof. - They come across a bowling alley, and get stranded there since the last train for the evening just left. - Mutsumi tries to throw the ball, but hhurls it at Keitaro instead, revealing his immortality once again. - Mutsumi tries a second throw, and is ssuccessful but falls face first into the ground revealing her panties. It's a strike! - Mutsumi invites Keitaro and he in turnn invites Naru, but she declines. - They assume she has pathetic bowling sskills, but then suddenly she whips out her personalized bowling ball and gloves and take them on. - Naru and Keitaro are doing well, but MMutsumi got a perfect score!!! - Mutsumi tried to stand on a bowling baall, but loses blance, and hangs on to Naru's pants, and of course pulls it down. It turns out she didn't even put her name on it. - Keitaro decides to invite Mutsumi intoo their study group, and she agrees. They had for her home, where one of the doors opens DIRECTLY to passing train! - Mutsumi reveals her secret weapon for studying, which is a heating table. - She also reveals her secret studying ttechnique, which is to use Tama-chan to guess which is the correct answer in a multiple choice exam. - Then they discover Mutsumi's scores arre actually very high, it's just that she always forgets to write her name!! - Naru and Keitaro lose all hope, so Muttsumi takes them to Toudai, but end up in the Japanese City University instead. The couple is consoled nonetheless. CHAPTER 048 - As the re-taking trio finish their morrning jog, Keitaro falls into the lake and Mutsumi bends over to hand him a towel. He notices her huge breasts. - Keitaro invites Mutsumi to study at Hiinata Sou this time, and tells her there's a hot spring there. Mutsumi just loves hot springs. - Mutsumi surprisingly reveals a secret passage within the dorm which no one even knew about. Keitaro is of course not included, and Naru decides to wash her cherished stuffed toy too. - Suu and Sarah pop from the drawer, andd tell Keitaro they've been exploring all the secret passages in Hinata Sou, and drag Keitaro along. - They pop out here and there, finally eending up at the hot springs. CHAPTER 049 - Hinata Sou is having a feast, and a biig pot of soup is brewing. - Mutsumi recovers Liddo-kun from insidee the pot cause Suu thought it was an ingridient. - Keitaro, Naru, and Mutsumi all remembeer singing Liddo the cartoon's theme song a long time ago. - Keitaro and Mutsumi go fetch some moree food, but Keitaro told Naru to stay behind. Naru takes this seriously and becomes really jealous. - Back at Mutsumi's house, Mutsumi triess to balance on a watermelon and and stumbles into Keitaro, who ends up on top of her. She comments on how manly he is. - Naru overhears since she followed themm, and is now even more jealous. - Back at Hinata Sou, Kitsune tells Keittaro that Naru followed and probably saw them, so Keitaro decides to confront her, but she avoids him. - She tries to cut some ingridients, butt wounds herself in the process. - Keitaro is concerned. He tends to her wound and takes over the cutting, telling her that the real reason he kept trying for Toudai was because of her. - Naru takes a bath at the hot springs, and Mutsumi appears from nowhere. - Mutsumi tells her not to worry about hher (Mutsumi) liking Keitaro since she wasn't serious, and she already made a promise with someone to get into Toudai when she was young. - Naru remembers Keitaro's promise, and as if on cue, Haruka appears, saying now she remembers there was a girl who looked exactly like Mutsumi who stayed at Hinata Sou long ago. She also said that girl had a Liddo stuffed toy. - Naru becomes nervous, and rushes to seee her toy, rememebering it was given to her by someone else long ago. If it were to be Mutsumi's, then she would really have been Keitaro's promised girl. - She picks the toy up, and sees Mutsumii's name at the bottom. - Naru tries searches her photo album foor some answers, and finds out not only did she go to Hinata Sou back then, but also did a boy and another girl. Naru sees all this, and says it's alright since they are the destined couple. - Inside, everyone forces Motoko to wearr the bra Keitaro gave her as a Christmas gift. * * * * * * * * * * * * V O L U M E 07 * * * * * * * * * * * * CHAPTER 052 - Naru runs off, and Keitaro tries to foollow, but Mutsumi shows him the conclusive pic that Naru left. - Keitaro remembers promising to a girl with a Liddo-kun, and now aside form the pic he also finds Mutsumi's name under Naru's Liddo-kun, and concludes himself that Mutsumi is in fact the girl of his memories. - However he is too shocked and confusedd that he drags Mutsumi along in the chase for Naru. - Hand in hand, Mutsumi and Keitaro catcch up on Naru, and he gets a hold of her hand, and refuses to let go no matter what. - They settle in a bar, and Keitaro is sstill holding on to Naru, but Mutsumi isn't letting go of Keitaro either. - Naru says by the time they get back too Hinata Sou, Keitaro should choose left or right and tell that girl his true feelings. - Keitaro thinks about both girls, and iis just torn between them. - They arrive, and Keitaro is still holdding on to Naru's hand. She is shocked..... - And then finds out he's also still hollding on to Mutsumi's! - Keitaro apologizes and says he just caan't give an answer right now. - Mutsumi says it's alright, but Naru coomplains about them kissing earlier. - Mutsumi then grasps Naru's head and foorces her to kiss him. - Then the girls leave and go back insidde to party. CHAPTER 053 - It's the first day of year 2000. 15 daays before the qualifying exams. - Naru and Keitaro notice a fire at a neearby establishment. - It's Mutsumi's house! They rush for heer, but she's alive, although without anything but the Toudai exam ticket. - Keitaro decides to take her and Naru tto a New Year's festival, where they can get rid of her bad luck. - However, like Keitaro, Mutsumi gets ann "Ultra Bad Luck" Talisman. - Motoko gets a love charm, which prediccts her true love to make a sudden attack. - Just then Keitaro calls on her. She iss furious. - Back at Hinata Sou, she is requested tto get rid of the bad luck from Mutsumi with her Ki techniques. - But Mutsumi faints and Keitaro rushes to her side. When she wakes up, they get pretty romantic, and Naru leaves. - Keitaro chases but stumbles over her, landing face first deep into her breasts. - Motoko then concludes that the evil sppirit jumps from person to person, in the form of unfortunate encounters (like getting one's face buried between another's breasts). CHAPTER 054 - The day before the qualifying exams, KKeitaro is extremely nervous. - The next day, he's still so nervous hee rips his answer sheet apart. - Naru and Mutsumi do well, then the ganng sees Keitaro on TV, looking really bewildered from taking the test. They think he's just fine though. - He tries to think about the situation in an ice skating rink, but Naru and Mutsumi are able to find him. - He lies and says he did well, so the ttwo invite him for some ice skating. - Naru and Keitaro crash into Mutsumi, aand he lands on top of her. - Keitaro yells sorry and runs off, stummbling yet again after some distance. - Seta's there, fishing on ice. He givess Keitaro some words of wisdom. - Keitaro is inspired, and tells himselff not to give up despite doing poorly. - Naru hears the "doing poorly" part, annd tells him to cross check his answers with an answer key. - She touches him in the face, it seems romantic, but then she strikes him hard just to get even with him lying to her. - She then says she can wait for him eveen if he fails again. - But Keitaro actually did well! He thenn gets to witness Naru's true strength, as she lifts and hurls an entire log without much effort. - The next day, they all get good resultts. CHAPTER 055 - Everyone notices something different ffrom Keitaro. For the entire day, he just doesn't do anything stupid, nor gets into any perverted accidents. - Naru tries to seduce him, but fails annd is now frustrated. - It turns out Keitaro was just preoccuppied with a math problem. He storms into the hot springs as soon as he got it right, and then turned back to his old self. Wham! Out go the lights. CHAPTER 056 - Keitaro, Naru, and Mutsumi study overnnight, but only Mutsumi wakes up the next day looking fresh and full of strength. - Mutsumi asks Keitaro out on a date. Naaru is jealous and ends up following them. Suu also follows. - Suu further updgrades Mecha Tama-chan to ver 3.0, now with a mic and camera. Suu switches the Tama on Keitaro's head with it. - Wind blows on Mutsumi's skirt and reveeal her panties. It must've really hurt Naru. - She takes it back, but Keitaro strugglles and in the chaos gets a mouthful. - It actually tastes great! Better, as hhe says, than the rest he tasted that day. - That evening Mutsumi sleeps at Naru's room, and they make a truce: no head starts on Keitaro until the exam is over. - Mutsumi sleep walks, and falls throughh the hole on the floor, gets her clothes ripped apart, and lands naked beside Keitaro. - The next day Naru sees what happened, and what else would she think? CHAPTER 058 - Everyone hears Naru scream, and rush tto the scene. Keitaro is in one hell of a mess now..... - Mutsumi even says Keitaro made her hurrt last night. Owwwww shit, here comes Naru.....P.O.W !!! - Naru calms down and Haruka explains thhe possible scenario. - The retaking trio meet up in town, andd Mutsumi says Keitaro was stiff as a rock last night !!! - But what she meant was she bumped her head into his after falling through the hole and knocked herself unconscious. - They were on the stairs towards Hinataa Sou, and suddenly the sun's rays reflected in the snow, creating an illusion of cherry blossoms, just like those on the day Keitaro made his promise. - Mutsumi has remembered everything now,, and says she made a promise long ago, but also says she'll tell them who after the exams. - They think now she finally knows, and Naru accepts defeat. - Keitaro is about to tell Naru he likess her, but then she just gives him their first intentional kiss. How ironic that it's a goodbye kiss. CHAPTER 059 - Keitaro has now decided. He'll choose Naru over Mutsumi. - February 25, the day of the auxillary exams. Keitaro walks up to Mutsumi (Naru's also there) and apologizes for not being able to keep his promise since Naru is his true love (although he doesn't get to finish the "true love" part) - But then Mutsumi reveals that the persson she promised to was a girl, and that girl is actually Naru. - Mutsumi then explains that Keitaro madde a promise to the same girl, but that girl was too little then, so she (Mutsumi) decided to renew that promise a year after. - At the testing center, Naru and Keitarro get to sit beside each other. They're both so tense at the revelation they rip their answer sheets apart. - Keitaro holds Naru's hand to calm her down, saying they had a promise a year ago to make it into Toudai.....together. He is Punched for saying it out loud though. - Back at Hinata Sou, the trio report thhey all aced. Day one down, day two to go..... CHAPTER 060 - Naru can't sleep, and drop down the hoole for Keitaro. - She lets him read her diary, proving tthat the first word she spoke was "Toudai", probably picking it up when her family went on a trip 15 years ago. - They conclude now that Naru IS in factt the girl of Keitaro's memories. Romance kicks in and of course another attempted kiss. - Then their specs collide. Suu also seees them and reports the incident to the whole gang. - The next day they take the exams, and Keitaro feels he finally understands every question. - He daydreams about passing, Seta testiing his fighting skills, and finally approving of him and Naru finally getting married. - He wakes up with 5 minutes left on thee clock..... - After the test Naru and Mutsumi enter Keitaro's room, but don't find him. Mutsumi notices something on his desk..... * * * * * * * * * * * * V O L U M E 08 * * * * * * * * * * * * CHAPTER 061 - Keitaro has decided to forget about evverything and a week later travels on a ship for the north pole to punish himself. But it turns out the destination was a south tropical paradise. - He throws his exam ticket and stiker aalbum to the sea but they all fly back right in his face because of the wind. - Just when he decided not to throw themm, some sailors bump into him and make him drop his items to the sea. He tries to catch them all but of course he goes overboard. - He is washed ashore, and wakes up on aa deserted island with only giant turtles. He tries to surive for 4 days..... - He is shocked at discovering everyone''s good luck message at the back of his Toudai exam ticket. - Just then a van crashed into him. It'ss Seta! - Seta offers Keitaro a job as his diggiing assistant. He agrees of course. - Two days later, Keitaro sends a fax too everyone that he's doing fine on Pararakelse Island. - Naru takes off to find him (even thouggh he left her a note on his desk at the exam center telling her not to follow). CHAPTER 062 - The rest see the exam results. Mutsumii's name is there. Naru's is also there.....then they read the name "Urashima Keitaro" - Kitsune exclaims it must be someone ellse with the same name!! ^_^ - But really it IS Keitaro on that list,, and the gang is overjoyed. - But then Mutsumi says they have to subbmit the testing ID within 5 days. - Shinobu, Suu, and Sarah take off with fake money and passports that Suu made, and a modified Liddo-kun that has jet propulsion. - Kitsune also drags Mutsumi and Motoko for their own search. - Meanwhile at the island, Naru finally meets Keitaro. CHAPTER 063 - Keitaro runs for it, and Naru chases hhim. She faints, and he is knocked unconscious by a coconut. - They wake up being tended to by Shinobbu.....But it's not Shinobu! Just someone who looked and acted exactly like her, but with a little tan. - The Shinobu look-alike runs off, and KKeitaro is left with Naru, who says she was so worried. - Seta enters the scene with the little girl, and inroduces her as Nyamo, and says he hired her for help but she doesn't understand Japanese. - Seta also says he thinks Nyamo likes KKeitaro, and so Naru is jealous once again, and runs off. - Keitaro gives chase, and so does a bigg turtle who's in love with Tama-chan, who in turn is with Naru. - Naru and Keitaro fall into a deep holee, and he gives her a boost to get out, but sees her breast from below, loses concentration, and goes back where they started. - Naru discovers Keitaro's tools, and thhey start digging. - Nyamo is up there, and notices a sign saying "Hot Springs". She tries to warn them, but with a soft voice and without knowing Japanese, how could she? - The three are washed away, and Keitaroo ends up on top of Nyamo. Super Punch to the rescue. - Meanwhile the little girl trio seems tto have landed on the wrong place once again. CHAPTER 064 - The hot springs Naru and Keitaro discoovered wash off a mural that reveals a lot about an ancient turtle culture in the island. - Naru tries to befriend Nyamo, but the little girl remembers her giving Keitaro that Super Punch, and quickly hides behind the large turtle nearby. - Seta and Keitaro decide to investigatee the turtle culture and ask Naru to go back to Japan, but she insists on taking her with them. - The van they are riding in crashes intto a big rock, and they all fall off a cliff except for Seta. - After letting the large turtle drag thhem along the desert, they discover a rich forest with a water fall. - The they a bath, but Naru's clothes arre almost reduced to nothingness. Keitaro sees and gets punished. Nyamo finally giggles. - Naru decides to dress Nyamo and herlseelf up in leaves, and Keitaro gets the nosebleed of his life. - Nyamo falls asleep, leaving the couplee alone together. Keitaro tells Naru to stay still, and seems to move in for a kiss. Naru noties how a tan makes Keitaro more handsome than ever. - But it turns out Keitaro was just tryiing to save her from a scorpion behind her back. - She thanks him, but notices her bikinii top was removed, and that Keitaro's hand was buried deep within her breast for quite some time now. That's right.....off he goes sailing to the skies. CHAPTER 065 - 2 days before the deadline. Sarah reveeals Seta and another woman (probably Haruka) took on an entire dark cult before and defeated them. - Suu re-invents Mecha Tama-chan into Noo. 4, and it's now a giant turtle which can take three pasengers and fly off to their destination. - Meanwhile the "mature" trio is also ouut of cash, and decide to get a ride from passing vehicles, but it seems they're charms aren't enough. - Kitsune decides to outfit Motoko with leaves, but it still isn't enough. Vehicles still pass them by without noticing. - Kitsune exposes Motoko's breasts, and now all vehicles that passed by end up crashing over one another. The trio flees. - The other trio is now in the middle off the desert. Mecha Tama-chan is almost out of fuel, and only Shinobu is determined to go on, draggin a passed out Suu and Sarah. - She encounters a big eyed snake, but iis saved by Motoko just in time. - They eat up, then discover themselves surrounded by a bunch of turtles. Motoko goes delirious. - They use the last of Mecha Tama-chan 44's fuel to escape. - Motoko finally delivers a finishing moove to a giant turtle upon seeing Shinobu in danger. Of course she also rips the girl's clothes to shreds. She now only has a towel to cover up. - They all see a flag with Keitaro's andd Naru's names written on it. CHAPTER 066 - 8 hrs BEFORE the gang got attacked by turtles. Keitaro decides to put up a flag with their names since it's their only hope, the desert being able to kill them in a lot of ways. - Naru thinks Nyamo's grandpa is alreadyy dead, and that she's just keeping her granpa's legacy alive by helping Seta. Naru order Keitaro to help Nyamo in her quest. - Keitaro sees Nyamo's entire body nakedd while taking a bath at a nearby water fall. In exactly 2.5 seconds Naru arrives and executes a Super Punch. - Thinking that Keitaro has become more handsome slipped Naru's tongue and gets her embarassed. She leaves with Nyamo. - Keitaro discovers the lost turtle cityy. He and Nyamo get all excited. - Naru reveals she admires Keitaro so muuch, and wanted him to accompany her to see the list since she herself is afraid to do so. - Keitaro now says he'll fulfill his proomise, no matter how long it takes. Romance kicks in, but a massive missile assault gets in the way..... - The entire gang is here! Naru and Keittaro both think they failed, and the gang came to kill them for relaxing, but Shinobu reveals they both passed. - Keitaro is frozen in shock, and now itt's Kitsune who gets to deliver a Super Strike. - Only one day left..... CHAPTER 067 - The gang gets introduced to Nyamo, andd Kitsune laughs at yet another rival for Shinobu. - Shinobu tries to befriend Nyamo, but sshe runs off. - A rocket is lauched. It turns out she has a map of the ruins, and at the end of a trap infested tunnel is gas (fuel). - Naru and Keitaro follow the two kids, but a big boulder starts rolling from behind. They all run for dear life. - At the end of the tunnel they discoverr a jeepney with a spare gas tank behind it. CHAPTER 077 - Keitaro's leg is now healed, and goes for his first day in Toudai, but it's a summer break, and no classes til September. - He decides to confront Naru, but Seta''s van comes barging in out of nowhere. They are going to endure everything until Keitaro returns. CHAPTER 092 - It turns out Keitaro had already sent them a letter, but Mutsumi mistakenly said "TO him", and not "FROM him". - Shinobu catches Kanako hugging Keitaroo's sweater tightly, and gets captured. - The gang starts a frantic search, and Kanako finds out about it via Shinobu disguise. - Kanako also does a Suu disguise and usses her air-mail locator invention to track it down. - Naru and everyone else blows her coverr, but still no mail. - Kitsune spots Tama-chan, and with it iis THE air mail. It flies away. - Naru and Kanako make a race for it. Naaru succeeds, but it turns out NOT to be the letter they were looking for. - Mutsumi had it all the time, and readss it out loud. Nothing much was said in the letter after all. - Shinobu reveals Kanako's feelings for Keitaro, and Naru decides to hand Kanako the letter. CHAPTER 093 - Kanako wonders why she couldn't compleetely mimic Naru, and concludes it's because she can't smile right. - Suu suddenly asks her what she hates tthe most. She replies, "sweets". - Kanako learns that the Hinata Sou girlls are planning something, and disguise as Naru to learn just what it is. Shinobu however still notices something wrong with her smile. - Kanako finds her room ransacked, and hher only pic with Keitaro missing. - Revenge is at hand. She uses Mecha Tamma-chan Zero to spread laughing gas at everyone and tickle Naru to death. - She notices a rope and pulls it down, a big "Welcome Kanako" banner appears. It turns out the plan was a welcoming party. - Shinobu hands her a doll of herself, aand Suu explains they needed the pic to copy her smile on the doll. CHAPTER 094 - Kanako decides the first guest of Hinaata Sou should be Keitaro, and that he should be sleeping in her room on the same bed as hers. - Everyone disagrees and Naru suggest Kaanako tests them to see which can take care of Keitaro the most. - Kanako disguises Mutsumi as Keitaro, bbut all she does is look at Naru's panties and squish Motoko's breasts. She gets mauled of course. - Mutsumi also reveals Kanako gave her KKeitaro's voice and a fake "main weapon" just in case. Kanako imagines Keitaro's to be very big by now. - Mutsumi then gives everyone a kiss on the cheek for taking care of her, and they all blush, but Naru is a little uneasy. - Mutsumi then gets into the act a bit ttoo deeply, and gets all romantic with Naru. They make an attempted kiss..... - Kanako is overcome with emotion and yeells, "Stooop!" - She realizes what she has done and runns away. Naru tries to talk it out with her, but she grows stubborn once again. CHAPTER 095 - Kanako sets up a ranking board with Naaru is No.1 - It turns out to be a chart of how deepp everyone is in love with her brother. - Only Kitsune is readily able to acceptt its accuracy, and confronts the gang with the fact that over the past two years, each of them has fallen head over heel for him. - Kanako then reveals that all who have a score above 60 will be thrown out (and everyone did get a score above 60) - Kitsune suggest taking back Hinata Souu by force instead. - Kanako then hangs Keitaro dolls all ovver the inn's facilities, and to use those facilities one must hit the doll over 10 times. - Of course, Suu and Sarah have no probllem with that. But Shinobu and the others do, so Kitsune dares Kanako to show them SHE could do it. - Kanako tries, but hugs the doll insteaad. She breaks down, but Keitaro arrives and tells everyone to calm down. - But it's just Naru in disguise, and evveryone quickly finds out. - Kanako thanks her, but just then everyyone else is already armmed and ready to fight for Hinata Sou. - Kanako's tricks have been prepared forr, and she loses a match with Motoko. - Naru opens up a new secret passage andd escapes with Kanako. - They take a bath at Keitaro's bathroomm, and Kanako reveals it's her brother's promise to open up an inn with her. She also says she's not related to Keitaro by blood. (which makes her a legal wife) CHAPTER 096 - Naru decides to help Kanako win Hinataa Sou back. - Kanako disguises herself as a street ppeddler, and discover they've all let their guard down already. - She reveals her past, in which Keitaroo was there to stand up for her. - Mutsumi pops out of nowhere yet again ang convince them to win the inn peacefully. - Kanako agrees, but takes it back almosst immediately after hearing Mutsumi say that the girl of Keitaro's promises is also in the inn. - She explains that girl is her mortal eenemy for taking advatage of Keitaro's kindness and making him promise, leading him to fail 3 times. - They finally take the inn back by forcce. - Kanako suspects Kitsune to be "The Onee". She ties the drunken girl to a rocket to be sent to outer space. - Naru has no choice but to admit she ISS the girl of Keitaro's promises. - Kanako is shocked, gets furious, and rready to detonate the peddler's cart she used to disguise herself with. - Just then Seta's van ran over that carrt and detonates it prematurely, dealing little damage to anything. - Guess who's drivin? Our main man has ffinally returned..... * * * * * * * * * * * * V O L U M E 12 * * * * * * * * * * * * CHAPTER 097 - Kanako has suddenly changed into a morre elegant attire to greet her brother, who doesn't even recognize her at first. - She rushes for him, but he turned his back towards Naru. He gets pushed face first into a health serving of Naru breasts. Super Punch resurrected! - Keitaro brings out everyone's presentss, but they all turn out to be..... lingeries! He swears it was a prank on him, but gets brutally mauled just the same. - Kanako is uneasy, seeing as Naru will be a tough challenge especially if Keitaro still thinks of her as a sister. - At the hot springs, Keitaro is startleed by Naru, who offers to wash his back and front thoroughly. They make an attempted kiss..... - Then the REAL Naru barges in with a Suuper Kick. The other Naru was Kanako in disguise. She (Kanako) stumbles over Keitaro and gets her first kiss. - Keitaro tries to calm things down, butt pulls Naru's towel down instead, revealing her shapely butt. Super Uppercut. CHAPTER 098 - The next day Naru decides to wake Keittaro up, but see Kanako smelling the scent he left instead. - It turns out Keitaro woke up early to do some general cleaning and spar with Motoko. - He has learned quite a lot of moves frrom Seta, and is now on par with the resident swordswoman. Motoko is deeply impressed..... - Kitsune concludes that the reason for this huge change in Keitaro's overall being is a cute American girl, who did some censored stuff with him. She (Kistune) even had a strand of blonde hair to prove it. - Keitaro decides to give Haruka his gifft, but it turned out to be lingerie as well. She tells him Naru and Kanako aren't getting along too well. - Keitaro takes them both out on a date at a swimming pool. The battle for Keitaro's attention begins..... - Something about a girl named "Julie" aalso slipped Keitaro's tongue. Kitsune's theory is now reinforced. - The two girls continue to battle for hhis attention and at the same time try to gather info on this Julie. - Finally they can't take it anymore andd confront Keitaro about it. - He just laughs, explaining that Julie was a blonde haired gorilla who stayed with him and Seta in the states. - With that resolved, Naru and Kanako reesume their battle for Keitaro. CHAPTER 099 - The next day Keitaro wakes up to find out that Kanako already converted Hinata Sou back into the inn it was long ago. - He's still the manager though, so he ddecides to hold a contest for the inn's Lady Boss, and if no one wins then Hinata Sou will be again converted into a girl's dorm. - Everyone does their thing to convince Keitaro to choose them, but in the end he calls it a draw. - Kanako tries to protest and bring up hhis promise, but is shocked at finding out he doesn't remember anything of such. - She decides to take a bath with him too make him recall, but fails. She then shows her entire naked body and tells him she likes him, but faints in the process. - Naru then reminds him of his promise tto run the inn together with his sister Kanako. CHAPTER 100 - That night Keitaro dreamed of getting married to Kanako and that she stripped right before his very eyes, and is now on top of him, and then..... - He wakes up, with Mutsumi, Suu, and Saarah peeking and noticing he had a wet dream. He gets ridiculed to the max. - A phone call informs Naru that Keitaroo needs to go to Toudai to fill up some forms. She tries to tell him but he's in deep meditation. - No one seems to be around, so she givees him a peck in the cheek. He finally responds, and is overjoyed, of course. - But he bumps into Kanako and for the ffirst time saw her as a woman. This is bad. He then continues to bump into her very often. - Naru decides to date him from now on, in the guise of trying to convince Kanako to give Keitaro up completely. They decide to meet at the abandoned section of Hinata Sou. - That night, at that place, Keitaro excclaimed his most important promise, which is to go to Toudai with her, but "her" turned out to be Kanako. It turns out Naru was late, and Keitaro mistook Kanako for her. - This is bad, considering the rumor thaat the abandoned section had a great power to seal the fate of whoever makes a promise in its presence. - Kanako now decides to enter Toudai witth her brother. CHAPTER 101 - Haruka gives Keitaro a Super Punch andd reinforces this rumor. - Back at Keitaro's room, Naru hears lottsa weird quotes from him and Kanako, making her think dirty thoughts. She barges in and finds out he was just tutoring her. - They are getting closer to each other.. Naru decides to do something about it, but fail time and again. It seems the rumors are true. - Keitaro decides to battle the "curse",, and gives Naru a ring while they were in his van on their way to Toudai. But everyone else is there planning to enter Toudai too. The van goes out of hand and jumps a cliff. - They set up camp and discover a hot sppring. The girls take a dip, then suddenly an army of monkeys take away their clothes, Naru's ring, and the Urashima family blade (Youtou Hina) - In the chaos the ring ends up in Kanakko's finger, but Keitaro confessed it's his gift to Naru. - Everyone stares at Naru, waiting for aan answer. She is STILL unable to truly confess her feelings, and runs off. - Keitaro gives chase, but Naru reveals that the siblings aren't really related by blood. With super speed she is able to cross an entire lake. - It is then explained that they all eveentually went back to Hinata Sou. CHAPTER 102 - The next day Naru has already left, annd Keitaro takes off to find her. Kanako still has Naru's ring though, and doesn't want to give it back. - At a train, Naru meets Mutsumi and Kittsune, who looks more like tagging along to party than to help. - Keitaro and the rest catch up and cornner them, but Naru still won't admit, so Mutsumi introduces her watermelon bombs (no ditry meaning here, they really ARE bombs made off watermelons) - Naru's group escape to an inn, but Keiitaro's group unknowingly also ends up there. - At a hot spring bath, Kanako tries to seduce Keitaro once again. Naru enters the scene of course, but for the first time in the history of Love Hina, her Super Punch was countered! - Kanako attributes this to the ring's ppower. Naru runs away yet again. CHAPTER 103 - Naru's group has already boarded a traain, so Keitaro's group decides to ride the next one. - Kanako tries to seduce Keitaro some moore, he just doesn't give up on Naru. She then discovers Naru on the same train after all. - Naru leaves the train and goes for a vvideo arcade, where she is defeated yet again by Kanako. - Kanako confronts her about Keitaro, buut she still doesn't want to admit. They end up at another hot spring, where Keitaro and Suu arrive. - They try to hide underwater, but Suu'ss bombs force them out. - Naru tries but still can't admit she llikes him. Kanako knocks her unconscious and takes her away..... CHAPTER 104 - Kanako and Naru board a train, while KKeitaro's group, now with Kitsune and Mutusmi tagging along, follow them in his van. - Kanako tries to confront Naru about Keeitaro once again, but she's just too stubborn. - They get off the train and find out thhe police are after them since Suu has been firing those missiles for quite some time now. - They are also confronted by Motoko, whho defeats Kanako but is defeated by Naru via Tama-chan. They are able to escape once again. - Kanako decides to disguise herself as Naru and vice versa. Keitaro and Suu see them and he chases after Naru (who's really Kanako) while Suu chases the real Naru. - Keitaro catches up, and reveals that hhe did know she was Kanako, and gave a little speech to deeply touch her heart. - She gives him her first intentionally kiss, and admits defeat. She also finally gives the ring up. Kitsune arrives in a van ready to give the most climatic chase in Love Hina history yet. - The entire Hinata Sou gang catch up wiith Naru's train, but the police are on their tail..... CHAPTER 105 - Motoko and Kanako engulf their fists wwith flame to ward off the police. Suu and her massive array of weapons help them out. - Keitaro and the rest continue the chasse for Naru. - Naru has now reached Japan's Northern most point. It's a cliff overlooking the ocean. - Mutsumi sneaks up from behind and grabbs her. It's Keitaro's chance to slip the ring into her finger, but the power of the abandoned section of Hinata Sou intervenes, and he falls off the cliff instead. - Naru is overcome with emotion, and jummps for him, finally yelling the most anticipated, "I Love You!!" - Back at Hinata Sou, the abandoned inn collapses is leveled to the ground. - They are saved by her necklace (which got stuck on a branch) - Keitaro offers the ring again, and Narru takes it immediately, then..... - The most passionate kiss in Love Hina history ensues. And surprisingly Naru does all the work. - The rest of the gang witness this rathher violent kiss, and everyone gets in the mood for a chase. The new couple decide to run for it..... * * * * * * * * * * * * V O L U M E 13 * * * * * * * * * * * * CHAPTER 106 - Summer of the year 2001 - Motoko's studying for yet another Touddai exam, but is distracted by a disturbing noise..... - It's Naru and Keitaro passionately kisssing! - Motoko runs off, and starts fantasizinng about Keitaro. She hates herself for it, of course. - She decides to take a bath, and Naru jjoins her, but Keitaro forgot to clean the hot springs up and decides to do just that. - And for the first time and Love Hina hhistory, Naru simply gives him a cheerful, gentle, push! No Super Punch!! - Motoko's mad to the bone, but throughoout the day she continues to fantasize on our main man. - But it turns out Super Punches still eexist, since Keitaro gets one after burying his face deep into Naru's breasts for the nth time. - However Motoko witnesses Naru apologizzing afterwards and kissing him once again! - Motoko gets the results of her exam, aand fails miserably. - She wonders how it feels to be kissed,, but Keitaro was right beside her all this time. - She immediately attacks, and knocks hiim unconscious. - Then Motoko actually KISSED Keitaro!! - Her sister arrives, and witnessed all that had transpired, but wasn't mad at all since she thought Motoko already got into Toudai. CHAPTER 107 - Motoko's sister reveals that she neverr got into college herself, and is very happy for her. - Motoko now gets the entire gang to liee for her to save her from her sister's wrath. - Kanako outfits her with some of her cuutest clothes and leaves her alone in public where she knew Keitaro would pass by. - Motoko, now being hit on by a couple oof perverts, quickly grabs Keitaro by the arm and asks to leave the place. - She was touched by the fact that Keitaaro actually went out to get her a review book to study, and now she wants him to be her tutor. - They spill some tea on her clothes, annd she asks him to just turn around while she undresses..... - Of course something perverted is boundd to happen, since when he gave a silly answer to a question she asked, she quickly grabbed him by the throat and made him see her entire naked body. - Chaos ensues, and Tsuruko, her sister,, gets a hold of her misrable exam. - A major fight ensues, and Tsuruko winss, as usual. She even taunts the fact that Motoko cannot succeed whether it be martial arts, education, or even romance. - Motoko then cuts her hair short and deecides to become a nun. CHAPTER 108 - Motoko runs off, and Keitaro tries to give chase, but is forced to duel with her instead. - He defeats her, and tries to cheer herr up, but she gets emotionally overwhelmed and gives him a Super Punch, KO! - Upon waking up, Keitaro gives her his "lucky" pen, which he used to repeatedly take the Toudai exams. He dozes off once again. - Motoko feels better now, and decides tto give him yet another kiss. - This is yet again witnessed by Tsurukoo, who gives her yet another challenge to which she must win if she ever wants to return to Hinata Sou. - And then we get to see the patented Aooyama secret attack, right after Motoko blocks Tsuruko's attack with Keitaro's PEN, and while screaming, "I love you Keitaro!" - Tsuruko is satisfied, and even leaves behind her pet phoenix(?) for Motoko to take care of. CHAPTER 109 - Keitaro had a dream of Naru taking himm to Toudai, so the next morning becomes quite obssessed with physically entering Toudai with Naru. - He rushes to confront an almost naked Naru, and gets an anticipated Super Good Morning Punch. - Kitsune reveals to Shinobu that there are now three girls who've confessed their feelings and are currently madly in love with him. - Shinobu is heartbroken, and the gang ddecides to help her by preventing Naru and Keitaro from physically entering Toudai. They become..... - The Masked Heroes!! Suu also gives Shiinobu her patented victory panties to win Keitaro's heart. - It turns out these panties have boosteers in them, and so Shinobu is propelled towards the running couple, knocking herself into Keitaro's arms. - She tries to hug him as tightly as shee could to prevent him from entering Toudai with Naru..... - But her panties are on fire! Motoko geets jealous with the tight hug and gives our main man a powerful strike, sending him in Naru's direction. It seems he'll make it to Toudai with Naru afterall..... - Then out of nowhere a plane knocks Keiitaro off course! - Seta is the brutal pilot, and lands too pick Keitaro up since he (Seta) seems to be chased by a horde of blimps. - Keitaro, now on board a plane trying tto take off, decides to stick out an artifact staff for Naru to grab so she could come with him..... - But the staff hooks on to her panties!! She gives him a Super Punch by reflex, and misses the chance to get on board the plane. - Haruka then arrives and tells everyonee that she received a fax from Grandma Hina stating that Keitaro is to inherit Hinata Sou - However he must get himself a bride beefore she arrives at the inn, in a few days. Also, when Grandma Hina arrives the girl standing next to him would automatically be considered his bride. CHAPTER 110 - Everyone 'cept Haruka, Mutsumi and Sarrah leaves Naru behind and heads for the Kingdom of Molmol, where Keitaro is supposed to be. - Mutsumi then points out that by a straange coincidence the capital of Molmol is also called "Toudai" - Haruka, Sarah and Mutsumi decide to jooin the gang, and naturally Naru tags along. - Meanwhile Seta and Keitaro finally deffeat the aggressive fleet. - The gang, on the other hand, announcess the beginning of their final competition---to bring Keitaro back to Hinata Sou and become his bride. From now on it's every girl for herself! - Seta, Keitaro, and Kitsune's group meeet up, and as anticipated the big chase commences. Our main man has absolutely no idea what's going on..... - Then the Molmol natives join the chasee! It turns out Suu is the current princess of Molmol, and Keitaro is to be their next king. - Meanwhile all flights available to Narru's group have been delayed due to Seta's mid-air battles. CHAPTER 111 - Suu takes Keitaro to a blimp headed foor the Toudai ruins and plans to get married there. - Kitsune's group is locked away somewheere in the same blimp. - Naru's group finally arrives and meetss up with Seta, who explains everything that happened, but not before a welcoming Super Punch from Haruka. - Naru decides to use Tama-chan's flyingg ability to take her to the blimp and uses Suu's Keitaro tracker to find him..... - Meanwhile Suu tries to get Keitaro to bed, just in time for Naru to catch them in a perverted position. - Chaos ensues, and Kitsune's group sudddenly barges in just in time to catch the three in yet another perverted position! - Kanako and Motoko take on Suu's bodyguuards, and in the heat of battle Naru is pushed out of the blimp and into oblivion. - Keitaro jumps for her, and they plungee together..... - But it turns out he brought a parachutte with him. - Seta arrives in his plane and takes thhe couple away. - But Suu refuses to give up, and summonns yet another fleet of airships. CHAPTER 112 - Seta, Haruka, Keitaro, and Naru are hiiding amongst the bushes from the blimp army. - But Sarah crashes in and the two men eeach get a hold of their desired breast.....tag team Super Punch to the rescue! - The next day, while travelling towardss Toudai, Seta explains that it was actually in this Toudai that the saying, "people in love who visit Toudai together would achieve eternal happiness. - They finally reach the Toudai ruins...... - But it turns out Toudai is now a commeercial establishment, and a honeymoon paradise at that! - Haruka and Naru, in separate groups, eeach get themselves something very attractive to wear, but the boys just don't appreciate it that much. - Haruka already informs Keitaro of the controversial fax, and tells him to once and for all take the initiative. - He tries, fails, makes up for it, but loses a golden opportunity when Suu barges in aboard Mecha-Tama-Chan 5 and kidnaps Naru and heads toward her airship. CHAPTER 113 - Seta, aboard his private plane, hands Keitaro a rope which mistakenly wraps around our poor main man's neck instead. Don't worry, he's immortal, remember? - Seta drops Keitaro on top of Suu's airrship where he meets Tama-chan who gives him Naru's whereabouts. - But it turns out the Hinata Sou girls now work for Suu, and Kitsune is granted the position of right-hand woman. - Keitaro's first obstacle arrives: Motooko. - She's overwhelming him, but then suddeenly confesses her love and weeps, enabling her adversary to take advantage of her blurry vision and strike. - Keitaro clearly won the battle, and iss welcomed by Shinobu who shows him the way..... - And lock him up! (but not before hittiing him hard with a frying pan!) - We then get to see a most touching seeen --- a weeping Shinobu. - Keitaro reminds her of their promise tto keep aiming for Toudai, and this moves her to unlock the door. Keitaro gives her a sweet goodbye kiss. - Next stop: Kanako. She outfits herselff in some sexy leather garments, but it doesn't work on our main man of course. - Keitaro finally reaches Naru who's alll tied up, and quite another obstacle: Kitsune. - She takes Keitaro to the ground below and explains that all Keitaro needs to get to the Toudai ruins is the mine cart next to them and that they should be going together now..... - Actually Kitsune just plans on searchiing of the Toudai ruins' hidden treasure AND THEN going back to Hinata Sou to inherit Granma Hina's treasure! (greedy as hell, my type actually ^_^) - Of course Keitaro is not the least bitt tempted, but then his final obstacle arrives: Suu aboard Mecha Tama 5 ! - However his previous obstacles (Motokoo, Shinobu, and Kanako) are on his side now. - Suu suddenly gives Keitaro a kiss! Andd says she too is on his side now, leaving Kitsune all alone on the villains list. - Kitsune feels it to be her responsibillity to allow the story to reach its climax, and thus orders the airship to take off, Naru dangling, once again. - Keitaro rushes aboard Suu's Mecha Tamaa 5 to save Naru, but it overheats and they both fall down..... - Straight into the mine cart! The impacct forces it to move at a great downhill speed. - They'll finally make it into the Toudaai ruins..... - But the wheels of Seta's plane rams sttraight through Keitaro's head! He doesn't die of course. - Tracks suddenly go uphill then terminaate, propelling Naru and Keitaro well over Seta's plane. CHAPTER 114 - Naru and Keitaro's mine cart is about to ram into a brick wall, but luckily they are able to use their legs as breaks. - The rest of the gang catch up and telll them about Seta being wanted for stealing the Toudai artifacts. - Keitaro is about to head inside the Tooudai ruins to confront Seta, but Shinobu yells for him to pick one of them first to go with him. - Keitaro, as usual being absent minded especially when under pressure, almost tried to choose everyone except Naru. - Good thing the Hinata Sou girls reallyy want him to choose Naru now, and give him violent hints to make the right choice. - Naru and Keitaro runs off, with him urrging her to get there before Seta and Haruka does, since it turns out only one couple would be granted eternal happiness. - The couples meet up, and now the finall showdown between Keitaro and Seta begins. - Keitaro has good moves, but not good eenough for the master himself. - Just then Suu and her army arrives, coommanding Seta to return their sacred artifact. - Seta puts it back on its pedestal --- he's not the thief after all. He explains that it was one of Sara's mom's last wishes to bring back this stolen vase where it belonged. - He then informs the young couple that they should kiss at the ruins' center stage in order to achieve eternal happiness, but they decide to give it up for the adult couple instead. - Suu then transforms into an adult and becomes the marriage priestess. - We now witness yet another milestone iin Love Hina history: Seta and Haruka's marriage kiss, coupled with Haruka's tears of joy. - After everything settles down and Naruu and Keitaro are left alone, Naru asks him if he wants to try "it" again..... * * * * * * * * * * * * V O L U M E 14 * * * * * * * * * * * * CHAPTER 115 - Naru wakes up the next day realized thhey, once again, weren't able to "do it". - The decide to go home to meet Grandma Hina, but realized the date of meeting was today! - Good thing Mutsumi thought in advance,, and had bought tickets for everyone. - They leave for Japan, but Seta, Harukaa, and Sarah decide to stay. Haruka hands over the Hinata store to Kitsune and her gang. - Before the couple finally enter the dooors of Hinata Sou, Kitsune and Kaolla try for one last time to be at Keitaro's side (and chosen by Grandma Hina as his wife)..... - Naru then hits two girls with one fistt. - But then Grandma Hina is nowhere to bee found, and they discover that it already was the next day since they crossed the International Date Line. - The couple gets frustrated, but decideed in the meantime to finally enter Toudai (Tokyo University this time) together. - Upon entering, Keitaro comments that hhe really doesn't feel that much happier..... - Then Naru suddenly yells, "Keitaro I rreally like you!!" in broad daylight at the middle of Tokyo University. He is satisfied. - Mutsumi then pops out of nowhere and hhands our main man a cellphone with Grandma Hina on the other side. CHAPTER 116 - It turns out Grandma Hina simply forgoot to come on the said date, and is currently at the Himalayas. - She also now knows who the girl of Keiitaro's promises is, but just as she was about to tell him Naru turns the phone off. - She runs off screaming she couldn't beear to hear Grandma Hina saying she (Naru) wasn't the promised girl. - Keitaro gives chase, catches up, and rreassures her he'll never leave her. - Naru invites him to a hotel, where thiings get spicy, even though she instinctively hits him hard when he gets too close. - She decides to take a shower, and comees out in a towel all ready to finally "do it" with him. - She wonders why Keitaro weighs so damnn much, and discovers it wasn't him on top of her.....it was.....a large turtle! - It was Nyamo's large turtle! And she aain't far behind either. - They all decide to go back to Hinata SSou, with Naru trying to conclude that they could never "do it" since she really wasn't meant to be with him. CHAPTER 117 - Everyone's anxious as to what Grandma Hina said, but Keitaro says although it ain't clear yet, he won't allow her to close the inn. - They all cheer for him and Suu does itt with a Super Flying Roundhouse, which hands him a genereous helping of Motoko and Shinobu breasts. He gets a Super Punch from Motoko and a Super Frying Pan from Shinobu. - Nyamo arrives, and is welcomed by everryone. Shinobu notices an envelope in her hand, and concludes it's a confession of love for Keitaro. - In her room and through the hole in thhe floor, Naru sees Shinobu helping Nyamo present the envelope to Keitaro. She panics. - In her chaos she falls right through, landing panties first on Keitaro's lucky face. She even stays that way for like ten whole seconds before giving him the proper punishment. - Kitsune holds their welcoming party inn the hot springs, where everyone is in swimsuits, everyone except Nyamo. - Keitaro is the first to notice this annd gets pummeled to oblivion by Suu's newest invention: a mechanized Sarah!! - Nyamo is wrapped in a towel, then triees to finally give her letter to Keitaro. - But her towels falls loose in the proccess, and she faints too. Naru to the "rescue". - Keitaro is knocked unconscious, and Naaru is by his side, holding a bottle of wine to "persuade" him to finally "do it" with her (as the wise Kitsune has suggested) - She panics and drinks it all herself. She gets drunk and is now on top of him, as ready as she ever will be..... - Then Keitaro mumbles, "Naru....." in hhis sleep, followed by, "I really like you, so I want to be with you forever." - She gives him a sweet "thank you" kisss, and steps out of the room, only to scare Nyamo off. - Nyamo unknowingly left her letter behiind, and Naru decides to read it. It wasn't a love letter after all..... CHAPTER 118 - Nyamo leaves, trusting Naru to give Keeitaro her letter, which contains a job offer as an archaelogical researcher for Toudai. - Kitsune decides to live at the Hinata Cafe (at the back of the inn) while the rest of the gang continue studying for the Toudai exams. - A kimono festival is held, and they alll attend of course. - Naru is hesitant at giving Keitaro thee letter, since it would mean having to let him leave her for a few years. - The rest of the gang easily find out aabout this, and after "blessing" Keitaro's photo sticker collection with themselves, they leave the couple alone together. - Naru thinks she could endure the lonelliness of being without our main man as long as the whacky gang stays with her, but when they finally come home..... - Shinobu had to take care of some thinggs at her home, Motoko her sister, Suu her 5000 suitors, Mutsumi her 300 newborn turtles, and Kanako her grandma. It was no group plan, just an overwhelming coincidence. CHAPTER 119 - Naru finally gives Keitaro the letter,, and almost as soon as he shouts for joy, her realizes he'll have to leave Naru all alone. - Naru cries as hard as ever, saying thaat all this is because she really isn't the girl of Keitaro's promises. - Keitaro tries to comfort her, and succceeds. They decide to give themselves another chance to attain happiness through a major date. - But it turns out all amusement parks aare either closed or jam packed. Their last resort is a hotel. They're really desperate to "do it" now. - But it again luck fails them as they bboth fall from the bed and hit themselves unconscious. - Naru tries to put up a smile and tell him to go and fulfill his dreams. - The next day she's gone. Keitaro rushees for her home..... - But he doesn't know where it is!! Goodd thing Kitsune didn't leave Hinata Sou after all, and is just hanging out at the cafe. She tells him where she lives. - Keitaro caught up with Naru aboard thee train, and declares he'll keep her company up to the train station. CHAPTER 120 - Naru tries to get off the train, but KKeitaro keeps trying to stop her. - She decides to get off when they arrivve at the same station (since the train runs in a loop) - The second time they arrive at the staation they were too absored chatting they missed it again. They go for another loop. - This time Naru wants to take just one more loop. - Fourth stop. Naru tries to leave whilee Keitaro's asleep, but can't find the strength to do so. She dozes off herself. - She dreams of past experiences, and waakes up with the lights turned off. The train was already pulled into the depot. - And just when Naru finally realizes thhat she is, in fact, happy with Keitaro, a haunting voice calls them out.....it's Grandma Hina! - She is about to reveal who the real giirl of Keitaro's promises is, but the couple escapes through the window, not wanting to hear it. - Everywhere they go Grandma Hina seems easy to follow.....then they end up at Hinata Sou. CHAPTER 121 - The entire Hinata Sou lights up with GGrandma Hina on top. She taunts the couple, asking them if they've been happy at all. - Keitaro exclaims how happy he is to bee with her, and an extremely touched Naru does her own shouting in their defense as well. - Grandma Hina then vanishes into the suunrise, along with the comeback of the entire Hinata Sou gang. - In her place was as buddha, but Keitarro knows better and catches her on the rooftop with Kanako, who had it all planned after all. - They leave via helicopter, but not beffore revealing the most anticipated piece of info in Love Hina history: that Naru is the girl of Keitaro's promises. - Keitaro was even told where to find thheir Liddo-kun time capsule, which had proof in paper that the couple really did promise each other to get to Toudai together. - Keitaro decides no longer to go abroadd, and decides to write his wish to be like Seta someday on the same paper. - Naru does the same, though her wish iss to be with Keitaro forever. - They kiss in front of Tokyo U. CHAPTER 122 - 3 yrs later, Ema Maeda, a boyfriendlesss Toudai wannabee, enters Hinata Sou to fulfill her dreams. - She discovers a hot spring bath and deecides to take a dip. - A gorgeous naked girl enters the scenee, and doesn't recognize her since she hid her head in their big "alien head" floater. - The girl is happy with her growing breeasts, but says they still don't compare to Naru, Kitsune, and Mutsumi's. - Ema exposes herself, and the girl screeams. Actually the ONLY male resident of Hinata Sou, who inevitably wins the heart of every female in the dorm, simply because most of them never became this close with a male their entire lives. A typical "good" pervert, who doesn't really try to do hentai stuff, but get easily aroused at the slightest provokation. It seems like a heavenly coincidence though, that he is showered with "accidents" that offer him the sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and feels of the female anatomy. He has one good point though, and that is to deliver his lines. Sure, he may have a helluva problem confessing his true feelings to the one he loves, but whenever anyone needs consoling, encouraging or just plain cheering up, he's the man for the job. NARU NARUSEGAWA - The leading lady, of course. Also has a big problem with expressing her true feelings. Beats Keitaro to a bloody pulp almost every single day, but that's because she gets touched at a private part or seen naked, almost every single day! She's VERY possessive, and gets jealous at the slightest provokation, even though she never admits having anything to do with our main man. It is also revealed that in reality she is as helpless as they come, and would've been easily fored to bed if Keitaro was that kind of man. She has one good point though, which is to pull off the most romantic of stunts, turning Keitaro neon red. MITSUNE KONNO - My personal favourite!! ^_^ After graduating from high school, she decided to quit studying and live her life by the day, without regards to her future whatsoever. She ends up being a free lance worker, using her entire earnings to buy sake and bet on horse races. A worldly bitch, she knows just about every con in the book, and shows off her skills to make money out of poor, gullible Keitaro. She is shrewdness incarnate, and is the only one capable of leading everyone into one of her "schemes", which is usually bent on either making money or getting Naru and Keitaro closer to each other. Side note: She rarely opens her eyes, and always has that joyful look on her face. KAOLLA SUU - Another comic relief. In my opinion, next to Kitsune, it's this girl who brings out most of the series' funny moments, being a jungle girl of some sort, and with a great amount of physical strength at that. All this is even contrasted by the fact that she's a mechanical genius, a great inventor, and as she says so herself, the mad scientist type. Throughout the series she's also trying to eat everything she shouldn't, especially Tama-chan the turtle! Keitaro is drawn with his funniest faces whenever she arrives, since that would mean a free flying kick to the face. MOTOKO AOYAMA - A personal favorite of a LOT of people, she's just the type of girl who'll look REALLY cute if only she opened up a bit, and showed a little more of her feminine side. A master of the way of the sword, she is surprisingly phobic of something I have never heard to cause fear to anyone: a turtle. Also in my opinion she's the supporting character who gets developed the most, being as close as possible to actually get married to Keitaro, even before he gets a chance with Naru. Statistics show that her breasts are actually larger than Naru's, but throughout the series it's her cute butt that always gets the center of attention. SHINOBU MAEHARA - The weakest of the bunch, both physically and emotionally. she concerns herself too much of others' feelings, even though she's the one who gets the most easily hurt. She has a huge crush on Keitaro, and unlike the other characters of the story, although she denies it, her true feelings show every single day in every word she says and everything she does. Her devotion to our main man is so much she is ready to serve him for as long as he desires, and wants to make him happy so much she actually tries to support him in his quest to win Naru's love. Side note: She gets to have "spiral" eyes more often than anyone else. KANAKO URASHIMA - Keitaro's adopted sister who's in love with him as well. She enters the scene more than halfway through the story, and takes over as Hinata Sou's manager while Keitaro's away. A character just like Motoko, she seems very cold on the outside, but is actually quite helpless when Keitaro's around. She is an expert in disguise, and can even do some joint conditioning to take the appearance of someone much taller than her like Haruka! She also gets exetremely jealous of everyone who gets close to Keitaro, who in turn has already promised her to run an inn together when they grow up. HARUKA URASHIMA - I am quite unclear as to what her relation to Keitaro is, since he always calls her Aunt (which in Japanase would also mean "Old Lady") but in one instance she says HER aunt is Keitaro's mom. Maybe just a translation problem? Anyway, she's the most calm and sensible character in the series, only showing a hint of emotion whenever Keitaro refers to her as an old woman. She is an expert of military weaponry as well as hand-to-hand combat. It is also revealed that she had quite a colorful and adventurous life with Seta, who gets beat up by her just like Keitaro gets beat up by Naru. Side note: She's a chain-smoker. MUTSUMI OTOHIME - The main conflict. But contrary to the stereotypical, she has absolutely no trace of evil in her whatsoever. She is the epitome of innocence, even though when it comes to Naru and Keitaro she's just as dirty-thinking as Kitsune. She is a girl of extremely poor health, so poor she is at the very borderline of life and death, there is even a scene in the anime when Kitsune tries to push her soul back into her body! Anyway, as far as her being the main conflict is concerned, there are several reasons. First of all, she's a real babe, someone Keitaro simply could not resist. She has the largest pair of breasts Keitaro has ever seen in his entire life, which is of course a big plus. Then it is revealed that she could have been the girl of Keitaro's promises, at the same time Naru was currently "disqualified" because of her age. Also like Keitaro, she is very prone to perverted "accidents", thus when the two are together, various "things" happen, things that drive Naru mad with jealousy. SETA NORIYASU - Da man. He seems to be everything Keitaro's not: a successful Toudai prof, archaeologist, martial artist, and Naru's big crush. He's just as cool and calm as Haruka is, and never seems to fumble in anythig he does, 'cept for his lousy driving. However two shocking details are revealed about him. One is that he had a very colorful and adventurous life with Haruka, and Two is that he used to be just like Keitaro, also failing the Toudai entrance exams THRICE before finally getting in. Even his love life is an exact copy, since he also was torn between two gorgeous babes (like Keitaro between Naru and Mutsumi), and that a much younger girl (Naru) had a big crush on him (like Shinobu on Keitaro). SARAH MCDOUGAL - The daughter of Haruka's rival for Seta's love. Her mom passed away at a young age though, so now she is stuck with Seta, but he leaves her at Hinata Sou in Haruka's hands instead, where she almost immediately gains the friendship of the entire Hinata Sou gang, especially of Suu, who is just as playful, naughty, and eager to beat Keitaro up as she is.
