Your child will be given a handbook. Please review the handbook with your child.
Students who are dropped off at school should not be on campus before 7:20 AM.
The Troll book program will continue this year. I will distribute one order form per month. I usually give you a week or two to turn in the money. I prefer to have you send in checks made out to Scholastic Book Club. If you do not have checks, money is accepted. Please place money and/or checks in an envelope with your child's name and my name written on the outside.
Students shall not bring gum, cell phones, toys, card collections, computer games, make-up, etc., to school. These items, if brought to school, will be confiscated and deposited in the school office.
School security and the safety of your child is our primary concern. School policy requries that you check in with the office and obtain a pass prior to visiting any area of the school. Failure to obtain a pass will result in you being challenged and access denied.
Students will be required to wear school uniforms. Please look over your child as he/she leaves for school each day to ensure he/she is dressed appropriately.
We do celebrate birthdays in the classroom. If you would like to send in treats for your child's big day, please let me know a few days in advance. 2:00 is the best time to serve the treats.
A classroom newsletter will be sent home every Monday to inform you of the week's activities (homework, tests, and other important announcements).
