1.Supernumerary: An actor who plays walk-on roles in a production, or actors without lines

2.Fourth wall: The invisible wall of a set through which the audience see the action of the play

3.Representational: A style of acting in which the conventional fourth wall is maintained and actors do not address or mingle with the audience

4.Presentational: A style of acting in which the actors recognize and address the audience

5.Floodlight: A light with a large reflector and high-wattage lamp that produces a broad fill of light on the stage

6.Noises off: Any sound effects needed for a dramatic production.  Also, off stage voices

7.Straight man: A character who feeds lines to the comic.  Most comedy teams are composed of a straight man and a comic

8.Flies: The area above the stage, hidden from the audience to which scenery can be lifted clear of the stage

9.Stock situation: A situation recurring frequently in drama: mistaken identity, boy meets girl, rags-to-riches 

10.Pastiche: A work patched together from various sources or from various works of a single author.  In effect, it parodies the originals. (Forbidden Broadway)
