1. Tranquillamente – Italian – Tranquilly, quietly, calmly

2. Transcription – The arrangement or adaptation of a piece of music for some instrument or voice other than that for which it was originally intended.

3. Transient – passing, not principal in the scope of the piece.Chord – a chord foreign to the key and not relative to the other chords Modulation – a temporary modulation, soon followed by the original key.

4. Transition – Modulation, especially a transient one

5. Transpose – To perform and/or write out a composition in a different key. (starting on a different pitch than the original song)

6. Trascinando – Italian – Dragging, delaying

7. Trattenuto – Italian – Held back, slower

8. Trauermusik – German- Funeral music

9. Trδumerisch – German- Dreamy

10. Traurig – German – Sad, meloncholy

11. Tre, a – Italian – Three, a tre means for 3 voices/instruments

12. Treble – High voices (on the treble clef)

13. Treibend – German – Urging, hastening

14. Tremelo – A fluttering, quivering. In singing , an unsteady tone. On piano, the fluctuation between two notes.

15. Triad – A chord of 3 tones. Root, 3rd and 5th in ascending order.
