End Game

After the trade on the bridge with the Alien Bounty Hunter where Mulder sacficied the Samantha clone's life in exchange for Scully, many shippers were convinced he made this decision because "he loved Scully." :-P However, I believe Mulder never even intended for a trade to take place.....after all, agents with guns aimed at the Alien Bounty Hunter were surrounding the bridge. He thought he could save both their lives and kill the Alien Bounty Hunter. Even if Mulder knew he had to make that sacrifice, he must have had some indication that Samantha wasn't really his sister. He wouldn't put his "love" for Scully (even if he *did* love her) before his "sister's" life.
