So, lately I've been playing this game Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life (Special Edition). You basically run a farm while running around trying to snag a wife by giving presents to the various available women (various? ok there's like 5) You sell your crops and dairy products to make money to buy animals or extensions to your farm like, a seed maker, chicken yard, milking room etc. OR you could horde money like I do. LoL. You also get to fish and sell the fish to the local traveling merchant named Van.

So as far as my game goes I went through the first year trying to woo the girls equally but to be honest Cecilia is the easiest to get to marry you. So I married her and we had a son. What a cutie, asking me if I like baths and telling me I smell nice XD He loved plants and looking at crops and drawing and playing with his toys. I loved life even though, my wife, didn't do anything to help around the farm, didn't watch our son and didn't cook for me or him.

But sadly like real life all the good ends about there. The next year my son got old enough to talk back to me, walk around the town by himself and didn't want me to hold him any more. He often talked about not being what everyone wants him to be and generally seemed depressed. Between making money, fishing and taking care of a million animals, I had to worry that I would go into the barn to milk Yochan (my cow) and find my son hanging from the rafters.

I officially have 2 cows, 2 bulls (one is still a baby), 2 sheep, 1 goat, a dog, a cat and 8 chickens. My money count is up to a grand 60,000. The extensions on my house are a pond (no duckies ;-;) a chicken yard and a seed maker. My son is now a young adult basically he's set at being a smart genius who discovers some big thing or invents some big thing ;-; he's still into animals and farming but he doesn't really express a huge interest in taking over the farm. (I fail *cries*) He hangs out with stupid scientist Daryl all day. I try hard to make friends with other people to get him interested in the farm and animals *sighs* another friggin disappointment.

Speaking of Daryl..what the hell is his story? he stalks my farm, talks about cloning my cows and also stalks Flora the archeologist's house mate. *shakes head* useless jerk.

Anyway so next year my son will fall in love but it's up to ME to woo the girl for him to marry (what the hell yo? he can't even get a girl to like him without me? shesh) and I'll continue to grow old until I die of the constant disappointment of my life or natural causes.

I'll let you know how that turns out when it happens, but for now, I'll just continue to get older, running around a damn farm impregnating cows and spending all my money feeding ungrateful chickens while my wife does NOTHING and my son ignores me.

It's a wonderful life kids.
