Math for Kids: A Medieval Adventure in Problem-solving "Math for Kids - A Medieval Problem-Solving Adventure, is a site for fourth graders who want to improve their math problem-solving skills for school or for competitions like Math Olympiad. All the math problems were written by the two fourth grade team members. Many math students have trouble with word problems. The approach at our site is two-fold: learn to break the problem into steps and learn to recognize the right strategy for solving it. One section of the site focuses on solving word problems using various problem-solving strategies, such as working backwards, using a chart, and recognizing extra information.
