| When we entered the port of Barcelona, HAL's Noordam was already moored. Although I made a list of all the other ships I was going to see during the itinerary, it came as a surprise that the Noordam was in the Catalonian capital as well. In the front Noordam, in the back MSC Lirica. |

| The Noordam, 33930 tons and from April 1984, is clearly becoming older. Not only the outside of the ships needs a lick of paint from time to time, also the interior is quite outdated. Dark colours and a remarkable smell dominates on board. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
