Their robots were entered for the slalom, parallel slalom, maze and mini sumo (for which they won third prize).
The event was very well organised by Roland Stelzer, a graduate from the UDA in Vienna and now a PhD student with De Montfort University. The event was supported by a number of impressive sponsors. Prof. Bob John gave a presentation on type-2 fuzzy logic at the symposium following the competition.
The De Montfort students fell in love with Vienna, as most visitors do. We hope that the MSc CIR will be represented again in the 2007 competition.
