September 20, 2000 CBGB 315 Bowery NYC Excellent show! Our set was rocking and we played a ton of new songs like Didn't Mean and On Delancey. The sound is so good there, stage sound was clear and reports from the floor were positive. We actually got an encore, which inside sources informed me is a rare occurence at this jaded rock club. We definitely have our foot in the door, they gave us another show in January, a Thursday no less! We are moving through the days of the week toward the coveted WEEKEND SLOT... |
August 27, 2000 Luna Lounge Ludlow St., NYC This was a cool show, we had a good crowd, the sound was decent and nothing got stolen. But no Budweisers? What the hell. We Have to drink Red Stripe everytime we play there. |
July 17, 2000 CBGB 315 Bowery NYC It was really great to play this legendary rock n roll club! We did a 30 minute set which featured two new songs, Don't Touch Me and Dance With Me. There was a L.E.S. lesbian rock n roll play before us, and a band appropriately named Porn Rock played after us. A classic night at CB's. I hope we get to play there again. The sound was really good. |
Thurs April 6, 2000 Tupelo 34th Ave, Astoria We did an unplugged show at our neighborhood watering hole. It was a fun time and the turnout was good. Thanks to everybody who trekked out to Queens to check it out. This was Ted's first show with us and he commemorated the occasion with a wailin' bass solo during the break of "All Comes Out." We did a couple covers: "Back From Somewhere" by Husker Du and the "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend's Best Friend's Girlfriend" medley. We also did: Loose Me, Insincerity, City Girl, Arcane, London, When You Go, Swivelbone and It All Comes Out When I Wash. |
