| School Life |
| The required everyday classes are math, English, world cultures and science. We also have to be in Exploratory 1, which is a different subject each 9 weeks. Some examples of Exploratory 1 are computers, art, home economics and technology. If you don't take band or choir in seventh grade you have to take Exploratory 2 but with different classes like foreign language, geography and others. We have seven hours in each day that are 48 minutes long each. On half days, the classes are 20 minutes long. In our classroom we have a computer, pencil sharpener, desks, and chalkboard and bulletin boards. We have two teachers this year. There are 23 kids in our class. |
| Sports Our school has 6 different sports for 7th and 8th graders to participate in. These sports are football, girls basketball, boys basketball, wrestling, girls and boys track and girls volleyball. |
| Teachers There are five 7th grade block teachers. We are taught English, world cultures and math by our block teachers. There is an advanced math teacher too, if you are advanced in math. We have 4 Exploratory 1 teachers. There are 3 science teachers, depending if you are in advanced science or regular science. There are some Exploratory 1 teachers too. |
| Gym There are 4 gym teachers. They are Mr, Trosto, Mrs Zwick, Mr. Page, and Mrs. Beaune. In gym we study many sports. We learn the rules and strategies for games. We play flag football, golf, wrestling, weight lifting and more sports. In 7th and 8th grade we run the 2 mile at the end of the year. |
| Lunch We have lunch in our school. We have 3 different choices to choose from. They are hot lunch, salad bar and ala cart. All of them are good, but salad bar is the best. |
| Dress Code At school we are not allowed to wear clothes with sexual messages or drug related messages. Clothes with alcoholic ads are not allowed. Shirts with spaghetti straps are not allowed and shorts must have a four inch inseam. |
| Mason Schools There are 7 schools in the Mason school district. The four elementary school are North Aurelius, Cedar, Alaidon and Steele. We have one high school, one middle school and an alternative high school called Summit. |
