I decided to get my masters degree in Instructional Technology because I thought that it would be very helpful for my career. I think that it would make me more marketable because technology is here to stay. Also, it would benefit my students because they will need to know how to use technology in this ever changing world. With the knowledge of technology that I bring to the classroom in 3rd grade, they can use to further their education in high school and beyond. They might actually have a leg up over other students because of the technology that I bring into their classroom.
What do you hope to learn in this class?
I hope to learn how to use technology in the classroom and become more comfortable using computers to teach. I also want my students to become really comfortable creating projects using technology. The only way this will happen is that I stay on top of things and learn how to use technology myself.
How can you access the Internet outside of class?
I have access to the Internet at work in the computer lab, the computer lab at CSUSB, and I also have DSL here at home. If all else fails, I can also go to my cousin�s house and my parents house for the Internet.
