2008 Fall Season
Stuff to keep in mind:
Games: for Center / Referee 1 / Referee 2 duties, you can select games that have players 2 years younger than your age.
Reason: State law.  (Why they made this a state law is anyone's guess - they can't fix school funding, but have time for this?)
Senior (U19) games: There are no U19 games this season, due to a lack of interest.
All Games U10 and up: 3 Referee system (if possible)
Reason: I attended the USSF assignor clinic a few years ago, and they impressed upon me the need to have the diagonal system.
I reserve the right to drop to 2 officials (which USSF does not like, but in my opinion, is better than using club
linesmen.)
Requests and Assignments
You can ask for any game you want, provided the state age requirements are met.  I reserve the right to place officials where they will best meet
the needs of MSA, based on their level of skills and abilities on the field.
Short Official Protocol:
Wings Drops to 2 Man, senior official moves up to vacancy on higher field.
Striker Female (Field 6) drops to 2 man, senior official moves up to vacancy on higher field.
Striker Male (Field 5) drops to 2 man, senior official moves up to vacancy on higher field.
(We usually don't need this, but it never hurts to write it down)
Officials CASCADE - e.g. if we need a U19 AR, a U14 AR gets bumped up, and a U12 gets bumped up to U14, and a U10 team goes to 2-Ref.
Exceptions as needed: example, an adult is AR on Wings game, it is okay for them to go straight up to U19, and break the Wings game to 2-Ref.
