Let's take a look at Mark 4:37-40

Verse:37- And there arose a great storm of wind and waves beating in the ship, so that it was full.

Let's stop a min. When we got the news about Toms Lung Cancer, that was the dark valley. He was going through Chemo which helps to stop the Cancer cells from spreading and Radiation helps shrink the Tumor. Well..... now we find out that he has five Tumors and fluid on his brain... We are now in the eye of the storm. The winds are tossing us from here to there and from this decision to the next. What is going to happen next? The waters are coming into the boat and it is beginning to sink..... so is my faith in God.

Verse:38- And he was in a hinder of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and awake him and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

You know.... sometimes I wonder if God is a sleep... It's not a good idea to ask that question. You and I already know that answer, the answer is NO! he is not alseep, he will talk, answer or what have ya in his own time.

Verse:39- And he arose and rebuked the wind and said unto the sea, PEACE BE STILL. and there was a quiet calm.

If we trust in the Lord he will calm the storm that is inside us.

Verse:40- And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? How is that ye have no faith?

It is very hard to keep faith through this troublesome time in our lives. Some times I ask God, "Where are you, why haven't you answered my prayer? He is here... right beside me, giving me peace in my soul. and the part about answering my prayer.... When he gets ready too.
