A friend once told me the other day, "When you wake up tell yourself this is the best day of my life and sing "God is so big." and I did and you know what? I have had a wonderful day so far. Thank you Gail.
"My God is so big, so strong and so mighty
there's nothing my God can not do."
"My God is so big, so strong and so mighty
there's nothing my God can not do."
The mountains are his, the valleys are his.
The stars are his handy-work too.
"My God is so big, so strong and so mighty
there's nothing my God can not do."
FOR YOU!
I sang that song and this morning all was well..... for a short time. I sang it again and all was well..... for a short time. When my day started to go down hill I would sing that song and everything was fine.
When YOU get up in the mornings, tell YOURSELF "This is the best day of my life", and sing the song "My God is so big."
Have a great day! ****************************************************************

Tom came home from his treatments.... he looks wores today. He said he felt the radiation from his chin to his chest and into his back. Oh how I wish he didn't have to go through this pain.
Dear God,
I come to you today and ask you that you give Tom some comfort from the pain from his treatments. The pain will be more intense as time goes on. God, alot of my friends have been telling me that you will not put a whole lot on us that we can not bare. So I ask you to do the same with my husbands pain. Let it be enough for him to handle physically and mentaly.
When he gets weak will you carry him? When he cries will you give him your shoulder?
When he needs comfort will you comfort him? When he needs to talk will you lend him an ear?
When he needs to walk will you let him lean on you? When he needs your love will you give him your heart?
God, I don't know Toms heart but you do, I ask that you just be his friend and strength, you are his FATHER and his CREATOR and you can do all things. Comfort his body, mind and spirit.
Amen.
