Mr. Li/Lee of Vertex/UCN contacted me in August of 2000 and asked if I would relocate to San Diego to work for his company as an Office Manager. When I agreed, I later found that the company did not exist. I committed my services to assisting with establishing the company’s San Diego office.
This is the worse employment
scenario I have ever encountered and make me never want to work again.
Mr. Li/Lee exaggerated about
the existence of the company. My research later uncovered a fraud.
An October 5, 2000 letter from Shawn Lee (Xian Dong Li/Lee) (signed as Vice President -but had business cards printed using the title(s) Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer) of Leap Technologies Inc. using a 6325 Lusk Boulevard address in San Diego, CA – was to Min Hao/Hao Min (aka Jeanne). NOTE: October 5th’s letter had a Florida fax number of (561) 365-2716. This fax number was operable on June 21, 2002 when I faxed a copy of the subpoena for the June 27th DLSE hearing. But all 4 of Xian Dong Li’s e-mail addresses have disappeared and are no longer valid.
BUT, .... the office was set up in
November of 2000 at 6150 Lusk-suites B100 and B101in San Diego,
CA. No
furniture was moved from a previous indicated address of 6325 Lusk. New office
furniture was purchased from Jerome's and Shore Office Furniture in the San
Diego area. The only furniture at the 6150 Lusk Boulevard address in November
2000 (prior to my start with the company) was a chair, telephone and fax machine
(in the office assigned to Shawn Lee/Xian Dong Li)
The letter to Min Hao/Hao Min
(aka Jeanne) referenced her position with ("The Leap Group") as Vice President of Leap Technologies, Inc (Shanghai). The
letter extended an invitation to Ms. Hao Min and Yaoting "Michael"
Yang to the United States (miscellaneous expenses paid-not limited to
transportation or housing) and to visit the San Diego office to spend a few
weeks with Leap
Technologies, Inc's engineers-that did not arrive until after
the letter was sent. The 3 engineers (Jeff, Allen and Edward) arrived in November 2000.
Business cards were created
for all employees; except Min Hao/Hao Min (aka Jeanne). She had an office at the San Diego
location-but never a defined title/position-only an office). Min Hao/Hao Min (aka Jeanne) and Christine had company cell phones obtained on the
same account by Shawn Lee/Xiandong Li, yet Yaoting "Michael" Yang
(Chief Engineer) always answered Jeanne's phone.
2. The person responsible for
hiring my services; Mr. Xian Dong Li/Shawn Lee/ Shawn Li/ Sean Lee/ Dexter Li
of 6205 Ranch de Diegueno Road in Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067 (the richest city
in California ) uses P. O. Box 3175 (same as on payroll checks) in Rancho Santa
Fe, CA (same P O Box for 6150 Lusk Boulevard Leap Technologies, Inc.'s mail
forwarding). Mr. Lee/Li's telephone number(s) are (619) 742-7888 and (858)
759-7888 and (858) 382-5538. Mr. Lee/Li is also responsible (on behalf of the
company) for my termination. His Social Security number is
602-40-1376 and his birth date is July 17, 1964.
The parent company
"Leaptek Limited" is located in a new China office at Room 6302
The Center - 99 Queen's Road Central - Hong
Kong.
3. Leap Technologies, Inc. (San Diego) ( incorporated February 5, 2001 in Bear,
Delaware - 4 months after my start date and 2 months prior to my termination ) filed to
operate as a business in California with the Secretary of State and Xian Dong Li (aka Shawn Lee)
is listed as the registered agent for the San Diego company.
The letter to Min Hao/Hao Min
(aka Jeanne) indicates a ("Leap Group") at
an address of 33 Fushan Building, Fushan Road in Shanghai, 200120, PRC.
Presently Leaptek Limited (Hong Kong)-(created October 5, 2001 - from the Netalone.com and Cybersonic Technology Limited
corporate name changes) operates from Hong Kong. Hon Tung Keung aka
Mr. Hon; former Chairman/Chief Executive Officer; and the "
same person " ( with a
different name variation of " Tung Keung Hon"-PRESIDENT; as filed
with the California Secretary of State Corporate office records) registered as
President of " Leap
Pacific, Inc"- incorporated
9/5/2001 to do business in California.
At the same time Leapsys, Technologies, Inc. (incorporated 9/7/2001) references Min Hao/Hao
Min as President while she simultaneously held the position of an Executive
Director of Leaptek Limited (Hong
Kong)-(created October 5, 2001) - from the Netalone.com and Cybersonic Technology Limited corporate name changes).
