-The name comes from the sleeve of Hole's album 'Pretty on the Inside'...some chick called 'Miss Sugarstar' is mentionned in the credits and I just thought that this was the coolest name I have ever heard that I decided to name my zine and online persona after her. Sometimes I wonder if she is a real person or a figament of Courtney's imagination.
-The film adaptation of my life will be directed by Sofia Coppola, John Waters or Quentin Tarantino (that should spice things up a bit!), or all three. I will be played by Drew Barrymore or Lori Petty...with Steve Buscemi in a cameo role.
-I like friendliness, putting on make-up, action movies and deep conversations. I don't like arrogant or closed minded people, missing trains (something that happens to me a lot) or realising that I have just wasted a whole night on the internet.
-I love music. I play guitar, piano and violin and can sing pretty well. If I had to mention favourite bands, I would say Hole, Sleater-Kinney, PJ Harvey, Jeff Buckley, Le Tigre, My Ruin, Sarah Dougher and early Kenickie.
-I can draw damn good stickman porn.
-I want to be a film director.
-I know labels can be shallow and misrepresentative. I also know that it is human nature to need to put people in boxes, so I'm going to do that for you now. As I am a human being, my labels are not set in stone and subject to change at a moments notice, and I am not obliged to give prior notice.
