Efforts of Technology
  Technology is an increasingly important tool for education.  As there are constantly new developments, it is important to remain familiar with many different types of computers, software, and programs which can be used to improve and enhance the educational environment of students.

   I am proficient in the following areas and programs: PC and MAC systems; Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point; the educational programs of Power Grade and Power School, and the design and layout programs of Page Maker, Photoshop, and Quark.

   In January of 2006, I was given the opportunity to speak with local media concerning the value of technology in education.  A link to sites with those interviews is available below.
