Advice and Ideas
Here are some great ideas and activities that have been utilized by NET members.
ICE BREAKERS-
Well, my first day icebreaker was a huge success!  For an
icebreaker, I had the students stand up (or sit if they chose) and tell 3 things
about themselves ...not including their name.  The catch...1 "thing"
had to be a lie which made it very interesting.  If another student could
raise their hand and correctly pick out the lie, they got a point.  The
student with the most points at the end of the "round" got a prize (I
gave the student winner 2 blow pops).  I learned A LOT about my
students...including one student who cleans crime/murder scenes for his
detective step-dad (I know, gross huh?).
Enjoy the idea, and I highly recommend trying it!!   Aleesa : )
