From Nebraska-
                     to New Orleans
I attended the NEA Student Leadership Conference and Representative Assembly from June 25-July 7 in New Orleans! It was a fun experience, where I learned a lot and met many new friends!
The SEAN delegates with the newly-elected and present NEA-SP Board of Directors, and Student Program President Dawn Shepard
The New Orleans skyline on the 4th of July,
from the deck of the Creole Queen!
SEAN delegates Kari Reinert (me), Brad Wellmann, and JoLynn Funk
JoLynn, Kari, and Hurricane Bill did NOT get along!
Student delegates prepare to
"Get drunk and screw" at Margaritaville!
(sorry- that is the name of the drink!)
Student delegates "Howl at the Moon" on Bourbon Street with a drunk guy (in striped shirt) who kept bugging us all night!
Kari and Lisa enjoy the music!
We all had a blast in New Orleans, but we learned a lot, as well! (including the importance of hairspray!)

It was an awesome networking opportunity! I met tons of awesome to-be- teachers, and already-teachers! I hope we can all keep in touch!
