Moon Phases
For maximum power work your spell on the full moon. Since the number 5 (which would represent the day Friday) is associated with love I would start the love spell five days before the full moon and end the spell in some meaningfull way on the night of the full moon. Or you could bring love energies to you or your relationship three nights before the full moon, cast a love spell on the full moon and do banishing (arguments, infidelity, stress) the three nights after the full moon which would then be waning. Thus leaving little room for failure.
