What You Can Give!
When we speak of giving, the first thing that comes to mind is material things. You might say, "I don't have anything to give." or "I'm not rich." Well, you don't need to be rich in order to be capable of giving. Aside from material possessions, we can give things which money cannot buy. These can be a smile for the downhearted, a listening ear for those who need to speak their mind, a tap on the shoulder for the discouraged, a word of comfort for the burdened, a shoulder to cry on for the grieving, an embrace for those who hurt, an amusing joke for the sad spirit, or love for all the souls who need it.
There are countless and priceless things which we can share to everyone everyday of our lives. Simple words or moments which many of us take for granted; but in reality, are the very basic things which all of us need. It is through these simple words and simple moments that YOU can give generously and become a channel of God's love. Remember, what you SAY or what you DO matters a lot! That's how important you are, as an individual, in the midst of God's special creation.
