I.    Title:          List the title of the article and the source.

 

II.   Date of Article:

 

III.  Main Idea: Write 1 sentence describing the main topic/point of the article.

 

IV.  Summary: Write 2 paragraphs summarizing the article.

 

V.  Evaluation: Write 1-2 paragraphs giving your opinion of the article’s topic (not the article itself). Discuss the importance of the topic, how it is useful, explain how the topic is related to psychology… This opinion should be well thought out and thorough.

 

**Current Event Articles Must Come from The New York Times or Psychology Today.  Articles from any other source will receive a lowered grade, unless you have received approval prior to turning in the assignment. The article must relate to psychology.

 

**The first page of the article MUST be printed out with the exact URL of the page where it was found. The first page of the article must be turned in with the Current Event, or you will receive a lower grade.

 

**Plagiarism will NOT be tolerated. Do not copy directly from the article without using quotations
